Went here yesterday for a couple of drinks before dinner with friends. The female bartender was incredibly rude, rolled her eyes at us and huffed and puffed when we took more than 2 seconds to respond when she asked if we were paying separately or together. She then looked over at her coworker and shook her head and laughed right at us, I’ve worked in hospo my whole life so I get it, 3 hungover customers that can’t make a decision and being slow to order or make a decision is probably annoying, but given it was DEAD in there at 5pm on a Sunday, we were the only ones inside/ at the bar, she was so brazenly rude and it felt unnecessary like she was having a bad day. But it made us wish we didn’t even bother. Won’t be going back here or recommending to anyone.

A very nicely made bar accessed by laneway - good friendly staff in a relaxed environment. Lots of beers and wines to select at reasonable prices

Great bar with an amazing selection of whisky, rum and gin. Not often that the cocktail menu has so many unique great tasting drinks. They also have a fun friendly team working behind the bar. Recommend.

Great drinks, friendly service, plenty of seating but still a small bar. Came recommended to us by a bartender in Darwin so you know it's going to be good!

The last two Friday nights I’ve been the staff have been awful. Cocktails were very average! The only good thing is the music, but don’t dance! Apparently if you show any sign of enjoying yourself or having fun the staff think you are drunk and don’t want to serve you. Definitely won’t be going here again, not worth it.

Tucked away in a Laneway, this bar has good amount of seating inside and out. The staff are knowledgeable with drinks and cocktails and make a killer negroni. Well worth hunting down if you’re in Perth.

Good to be back to one of the OG small bars in Perth. Chilled vibe on their rooftop deck drinking those well made cocktails. Drinks are always balanced here and bartenders are experienced enough to go off menu if you want something different. Always a welcoming place on that deck.

Cool place with the seating area built onto stair-like plateus. Industrially designed and a good selection of drinks. Definitely worth a visit, and hopefully you'd get one of the two tables looking out over the street. A little too few beers on selection for me personally, but I would not say no if going with someone who hasn't been here before.

Although not the greatest selection of beer on tap, there is always something worth drinking, and there is always a good selection of canned beers as a fall back. Great spot, great atmosphere and great staff. The burgers are not bad either.

Cool venue, good drinks and friendly staff. Plenty of heaters if your worried about it being outside. Worth a visit

Cool and quirky bar in Northbridge with friendly bar staff. Had some good stuff on tap and suggested a few great restaurants in the area. Ended up going back for a few after the restaurant. Lots of good seating areas outside over a couple of floors.

i love this place best rooftop bar ever, music is awesome some throwbacks and good vibes generally, service is tiptop. toilets r clean and there’s a smoking area and non smoking area. umbrellas to protect from rain and heaters to protect from cold. i love cady too the bartender here (i hope i spelled it right ily) she'll get u right. came here to drink my heartbreak away and she’s the sweetest. i love mechanics 4everrrr come here if u want a sweet hidden away rooftop bar, my fave place for to start (or end!) a chill night out

One of the best bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had. Along with some of the best cocktails in Perth! Great atmosphere and staff were incredible! Stoked is an understatement

Cool, small and quirky! Great selection of drinks, pricing is pretty standard for the city & has a great atmosphere. Flip side burgers are served here & they are absolutely amazing. Would defiantly go back

Effortlessly cool. My favourite bar in Western Australia. Love the place. Do yourself a favour and go see why. Only slight issue was trying to make a choice from the extensive display whilst having the feeling of being hurried by staff behind the bar.

One of my favourite meeting places to enjoy a drink before wandering down the road to enjoy a cheap n cheerful dinner. Still as good . One of the few places u can enjoy a conversation. Perfect location with a conspiratorial underground ambience.

Funky bar with cool and friendly service. Wide range of micro brew accompanied with burgers and a couple of sides. Awesome fit out inside or chill in the cozy outdoor area that runs along the side of the building.

Went for a cheeky Friday night drink at Mechanics Institute. Love that the entrance is in a secluded alley way. Friendly door staff, really knowledgeable bar team, willing to let us sample before we decided on our drinks. Great vibe in there with a cosy interior on a cold night. The outside seating is one of the best spots in Northbridge when the weather's good. Also noteworthy was the indi music playing, set the mood beautifully. Highly recommended!

Being hidden in the alley makes in more secluded and private, I love less known bars! Huge range of options for beers, wines, and spirits / cocktails.

A more 'classy' joint from the nearby bars like Joe's - makes for a more relaxed night out. Very knowledgeable and personable bar staff who are happy to accomodate you the best they can. The rooftop bar is beautiful! Great service, great drinks, great facilities = a great night. Highly reccomend.

Went to this bar with my wife. Got rejected to buy a drink on the grounds that I crossed the bounds of zero tolerance which was NOT intoxication. Never experienced that b4 at a pub and will be the last time I go to this bar.

It was Phil's birthday but he didn't buy me a drink!! Even though I wished him happy birthday. Jokes aside, I love this venue. Amazing selection of beverages and cocktails and very competent and friendly staff. An intimate venue with character and charm.

If your looking for a cocktail made with with a twist definitely come check these guys out. If it's not too busy the drinks are made with finesse, as soon as it's busy they get made alot quicker as you'd expect and they can be a bit off. So pick your times but definitely check them out. Really good staff behind the bar. Keep it up guys 🙌

Great little cocktail bar hidden in Northbridge. They have an amazing range of unique drinks. The bar staff have strong knowledge of mixology and create fantastic cocktails. A good place to catch up with friends for drinks.
