I first visited here some six months ago on a quick trip to Perth for a friends' wedding. I'm back on a work trip and couldn't not stop by again. Top notch toasties and coffee from local roasters Twin Peaks. Howard's Groove has a really cool retro, 70s vibe to it that is super cosy in a space tucked away just off of St George's Terrace.

the coffee here is state of art. The staff are super nice and friendly. Always a delight to start the day with… (Certainly they rank in top 3 coffees in Perth in my view, and I should say probably the only cafe i have been to more than 10 times that have never served a bad coffee 😃)

A cosy ground-level café on Howard Street. Nice atmosphere and relaxing choice of beats while drinking coffee. The staff are welcoming, calm yet efficient. My coffee was okay – it was not strong enough for a large with extra shot (very milky).

A groovey busy coffee place in the heart of Howard Street amongst the Corporates. We frequent Smooth Operator which is the sister place to Howard's Groove. Excellent yummy coffee served by an outstanding friendly bunch of Ladies. Warm atmosphere, yummy biscuits, muffins etc and I had the chai almond lattee same as my partner. Very enjoyable, very professional but warm and friendly, highly recommended 👌

The variety of single origin espresso changes weekly and has always been amazing. Can get busy in the morning for dine in, but worth the wait.

The best coffee in Perth, hands down. The only downside is the limited seating, making it a bit tricky to find a comfortable spot during busy times. If you're a coffee enthusiast willing to overlook that for a fantastic brew, it's definitely worth a visit.

Their coffee is absolutely fantastic. The aroma and flavor were top-notch. The ambiance was further enhanced by the wonderful music they played in the background. Fantastic shop, great atmosphere and awesome seeing the team work. Almond Croissant was amazing and the coffee tasty. My only gripe and the reason it’s not a five star. The coffee was $4.50 and only half full.

Brought to you by the owner/ crew from Smooth Operator (on Milligan street) and now my daily escape from the office. It's tucked away which reminds me a bit of Melbourne. Coffee and food are excellent as always. Staff are always super friendly and efficient, especially considering how busy they get during the morning rush. Furthermore I definitely like how they maintain the consistency with Smooth Operator but still has its own unique identity.

Brilliant staff and extremely fantastic coffee ~

Really nice coffee served out of a small and busy spot in a side street. Expect to queue / wait for at least 10 minutes, but rest assured the coffee is worth it. There is limited indoor seating available that looked very cosy, and the staff were both friendly and very well trained (hand delivering orders to people from memory!)

Super popular coffee shop so he prepared to wait. I found it more expensive for batch brew coffee than I was expecting considering that it's just sitting there in a pot waiting to be poured. None the less it was nice coffee and the atmosphere inside is great.
