Our
stay
at
The
Estate
House,
part
of
the
Dwight
D
hotel,
was
delightful.
Owner
Vittoria
was
communicative
from
the
start,
and
met
us
at
the
property
upon
our
arrival.
She
was
generous
with
her
time
and
showed
us
the
house
from
top
to
bottom.
There
is
some
renovation
going
on
to
connect
this
townhouse
with
the
hotel
proper,
which
actually
worked
well
for
us
as
it
gave
us
access
to
an
additional
room,
where
we
gathered
for
morning
coffee.
The
owners
have
put
a
lot
into
this
property
and
it
shows.
If
you
appreciate
grand,
older
homes,
this
is
the
place
for
you.
Tall
ceilings
and
windows,
deep
moldings
and
creaky
wood
floors
add
to
the
charm.
The
kitchen
is
MUCH
nicer
than
mine
at
home,
and
was
extremely
well
stocked
with
many
spices,
oils,
flour/sugar,
and
on
and
on.
There
was
plenty
of
room
for
three
couples
to
spread
out.
Outdoor
green
space
is
a
precious
commodity
in
the
area,
and
this
rear
garden
is
just
lovely
â
very
large,
shady,
and
private.
We
appreciated
the
numerous
âlittle
touchesâ
that
added
to
the
enjoyment
of
our
stay.
Temporary
dashboard
parking
passes,
two
kinds
of
bottled
water
in
each
suite,
iPad
in
each
suite
with
local
info
highlighted,
charcuterie
tray
and
wine
waiting
for
usâŚ
The
location
is
also
fantastic
â
a
block
or
two
from
Rittenhouse
Square,
many
local
cafes
and
eateries,
and
more.
You
wonât
be
disappointed
if
you
choose
to
book
this
property.
