Wonderful weeklong stay near Rittenhouse Square! We stayed here for a week for Spring Break and had a wonderful time. Our trip was originally scheduled to be over New Year's, but when Omicron hit we decided to reschedule and the staff at Roost Rittenhouse kindly helped us move our prepaid, nonrefundable stay to April at no extra cost. So we already had a great pre-impression even before arriving! We loved our apartment, and adored the central location, and the staff overall continued to be a highlight. When our flight arrived a couple of hours before check in, Sean and Lisa helped us to complete all our check in paperwork early and held our bags safely until the room was ready. Every time we came or left, whoever was at the front desk was friendly and helpful (it's a really nice feature to have someone available 24/7, and is one of the bonuses over an independent apartment rental) and they even gave us a late check out. We stayed in a 1-bedroom (no den) on the second floor, and loved our spot. Though we could hear voices from the outside hallway very occasionally, the soundproofing between apartments must be amazing because we could never hear our neighbors even though we saw them and our bedroom abutted their space. Same goes for the street - it's a very busy part of downtown, so there is naturally some street noise (bring earplugs if that's a big concern for you), but we found the windows to be really good at blocking the city racket. The bed was super comfortable, there was loads of room to unpack clothes, etc, and the bathroom was spacious with a nice rain shower. We enjoyed the nice couch and living room setup, and the Apple TV worked great for us as apple users. Wifi was fast and seamless. I didn't cook in the kitchen aside from reheating and making coffee (too much great food nearby!!), but I looked in all the cupboards and drawers and appreciated that there was slightly more than minimal gear to cook. The entire experience seems really well thought out. Having a good quality washer and dryer is AMAZING, but remember to bring your own detergent. I packed some tide pods to make it easy and so I didn't have to shop while there - but there is a CVS across the street and a target kitty-corner. Two other things we enjoyed were how a lot of the lights were adjustable/dimmable and the Davines products in the bathroom. Extra shout out to Sean for being such a great welcoming presence!! :) We had a great time and hope to return!

I arrived at Roost Rittenhouse and realized that it had front stairs and I came to be with my daughter as she recovers double knee surgery. I was devastated but then Sean and Kizzy went into the action and saved the day and the recovery time for my daughter! They called over to Roost East Market and got us the same room. They could not have been more helpful to this mom as I face my daughter’s major surgery!! So grateful for their empathy and action!!

Our family was in Philadelphia visiting from the west Coast and we had an absolutely incredible experience at the Roost Rittenhouse! I’m fact, we will never stay at another place when visiting Philly. The rooms are very nice and offer a ton of flexibility when compared to a normal sized hotel room. Having a large fridge and freezer was incredible for saving leftovers from our numerous nights out. But more than the nice amenities, it was the friendly staff that really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Lisa, Shawn and Jamal were all so courteous and helpful and made our stay feel like a home away from home. We cannot recommend highly enough!

An amazing gem! I lived 3 blocks away for 3 years and never knew it was here. Love the concept and personalized service. Can’t beat this location. I wish I could keep this my own little secret - sure hope there’s availability for my next trip to Philly! It will be my go to place for sure. Perk: Sean was super helpful with post check out plans since my flight was delayed.

The Roost Rittenhouse made us comfortable for 3 and half weeks. We were informed routinely concerning area attractions and best practices throughout the city. Lisa made sure we were educated on the public transportation system if we were interested in using it to navigate the city. Lisa went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The views were very nice in our two bedroom unit. The beds slept well and we even had an air purifier placed in our unit by Ms. Lisa Johnson. House keeping kept our room immaculate! Thank you Carla! Shawn & Jamal were always welcoming with a smile and hearty good morning!!!

The team at Roost Rittenhouse are incredible, can’t speak highly enough to their service, support, and friendliness. Sean, Christopher and the whole front and support staff made me feel at home. I stayed there for about two months, the apartments and modern and well kept, I was sad to leave. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you need a longer term accommodation.

Amazing experience at Roost! All the staffs here are really helpful and welcoming! The front desk takes extra efforts to help me with my delivery, housekeeping, luggage storage, and many more. SEAN & CHANEL are the super stars and they make me feel home! The apartment is neat and quiet. The location is perfect and convenient. I look forward to coming back again!!

The Roost is such a hidden gem here in Philadelphia. Our bathroom was being remodeled and we needed somewhere to stay for a few days. I found The Roost via Google and I am so happy that I did. The hotel room/apartment that we stayed in was amazing. Very modern chic. If I could give the staff 10 stars I would. Shawn was awesome he was very personable and accommodating and he kept a smile on our faces. I can not forget Chanel or Jamaal, they really made me feel like the Roost is my new home away from home. Great job guys, all of you are an asset to this company and I look forward to our next visit.

I stayed at ROOST Rittenhouse on the night of my wedding and I couldn’t imagine having a better experience. First of all, when my fiancée and her family checked in the day before the wedding there must have been some cancellations due to the weather, because she and my mother in law each got upgrades on their rooms which was a huge help, because they were getting their makeup done the next morning and were happy to have the extra space. The staff (especially Lisa, Jamal, and Sean!!!) were so kind and accommodating. The staff even signed a card congratulating us on our wedding. The rooms were classy and spacious (I absolutely recommend to anyone wanting just a night in the city or an extended stay), the lounge was perfect for an indoor wedding photo shoot, and it was so convenient! I really, really, really loved my stay at ROOST. A million stars.

Great location, very clean, well-appointed apartment. Even a great coffee service in the room with our favorite Chemex coffee system (and other more traditional systems). Everything we could need if we had stayed more than the one night - including an adorable dishwasher! Super friendly staff, very welcoming and accommodating. Only issue we encountered was the connectivity of our wifi, it seemed to drop our signal from the tv and our phones randomly and was arduous setting the tv up each time we lost the signal.

Excellent overnight stay - beautiful mid century decor, heart of bustling Rittenhouse neighborhood, much bigger than hotel for family. Wasn’t sure what to except delighted by 20 min loading zone - Lisa welcomed us right away where we felt right at home and gave great recommendations for ice cream - Shawn helped us feel like special guests with kindness, warmth and great music. The photos don’t do justice to the architectural beauty of this restored historic property. Provided free coffee to make in room, paper towels, soap, lotion - best parts of a hotel, with the convenience of having your own apartment.

My significant other and I spent 8 nights here and it was fantastic! The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating and the check-in/check-out was a breeze. The rooms use a traditional card key that you press against a scanner. Our room was the studio style but had a full bedroom and a short hallway that led to a living room with the stocked kitchenette. All tableware and silverware are available in the kitchen, as are pots and pans. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, as was the overall room. The surrounding area is nice and has lots of good restaurants and things to see/do. If and when I find myself in Philly again, this place is the first spot I'll look to book with. Huge thank you to the staff and especially Lisa, our stay was fantastic!

An amazing value, huge room with an amazing location. Was an amazing reprieve from the stay we had in New York. Our stay was in a fully furnished one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, including dishware. The room also had an in suite washer and dryer. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were provided complimentary bikes that allowed us to explore much more of the city than if we were only walking. Would highly recommend the Roost to anyone visiting Philadelphia.

I spent several months staying at the Roost Rittenhouse as part of a corporate move. The location is amazing, as you step out onto Chestnut you are a block away from Rittenhouse Square, great restaurants all around, boutique grocery stores nearby, and having a Target and CVS across the street is super convenient. Units are spacious, with hardwood floors throughout, laundry, and a full kitchen, all of which I used regularly. Most of all, management goes out of their way to hire amazing people. All of the staff has been wonderful to interact with. A fantastic experience overall, I highly recommend it.

Greeted by Sean on arrival and he couldn’t have been more pleasant. He was super friendly and made us feel welcome as if we lived there. All the staff was extremely friendly over our week stay. Facility is clean and fantastic location. We’ve stayed many places but will definitely be back next time in Philly!

This place was perfect. Easy 2 block walk to Rittenhouse Square park. Restaurants. CVS and Target right across the street and the room was to die for

This is our fourth or fifth time staying at this hotel and I can’t say enough good things about it. The rooms are spacious and clean, the location is great—close to good restaurants and shopping and the wonderful square itself. But the staff really makes it. Sean, Jamal, Lisa, Carmen, Austin—everyone goes out of their way to make sure our stay is comfortable. And it always is!!

The entire front desk staff was beyond exceptional and made me feel so welcome. The location was perfect for where I needed to go - and with it being right on Chestnut it was a straight shot to all the historical attractions as well. Can't recommend this place enough!

The rooms at the Roost Rittenhouse were comfortable and exactly what we needed for an extended stay with family in April 2022. The staff was exceptional, especially Jamaal and Sean. Everyone was kind, courteous, and did all that they could to make our stay clean and comfortable.

The ROOST is conveniently located near Rittenhouse Square and many of the finest restaurants in the city. The rooms are nicely decorated and cared for, with ample space and all the things one needs. Staff and management are friendly and able to address issues as they arise.

What a great find! We were in Philadelphia for a week and Roost Rittenhouse was a PERFECT apartment/ hotel. We loved the location (walking distance to historic sights, as well as loads of restaurant and shopping choices… Target is conveniently right across the street in case you’re also moving a college student onto one of the nearby campuses). We enjoyed exploring the city, but having such a lovely, very clean, comfortable, thoughtfully prepared apartment to come home to after our daily adventures. (It was so good to have a kitchen, as well as a washer & dryer.) And the staff were SO kind and helpful (like, REALLY thoughtful and available and they had the best food recommendations). In fact, if you stay here, please tell Sean the Browns LOVE him! Again, Roost Rittenhouse was the perfect find.

I cannot say enough how pleased I was with my stay!!!! I had to temporarily relocate for work to Philadelphia from the St. Louis Missouri area. I moved into Rittenhouse for 2 months! This was the best apartment hotel stay ever! I travel often for work, but this spot would be at the top of my list! First you are greeted by a super friendly helpful staff! Shawn was my favorite front desk assistant. He was so welcoming and helpful from the day I checked in! He was an awesome resource for me when I had questions about the area, restaurant's, events, and so much more! Anytime I called to the front desk he was ready to assist. I was in need of hand towels. He brought them u to my room with no hesitation! I also enjoyed his music selection he would have playing quietly in the background as he worked. He also knew me and my guest by name and always greeted us! When I received packages, he ensured I received them immediately! I can not even begin to express how amazing the housekeepers are!!!! They cleaned my room once a week! I felt like royalty after every cleaning! They would even line my shoes up neatly and arrange all of my cosmetics on the bathroom counter so neatly!!!!!! They went above and beyond!!!!!!!! The apartment had everything I needed to make me feel right at home. I also like the fact the doors are locked after 5pm.

We stayed at the Roost Rittenhouse property for my husband’s birthday weekend and everything from the property, amenities, and service were EXCELLENT!!!! The apartment was beautiful and so so clean! We checked in with an AMAZING gentleman by the name of Sean M., and his service, personality, and character were STELLAR! It felt so easy speaking to him the moment we arrived even though we were aggravated due to the Philly parking situation lol and had dinner reservations shortly thereafter! He was expeditious, informative and super pleasant. We will continue to stay at the Roost properties from now on, ESPECIALLY if Sean M., will be helping us out in the future! We had a great experience with him and our stay, thank you again!!!

Honestly it was a 10+. It is hard to find staff that are truly sincere and friendly in their service and the staff is second to none. We felt at home away from home here with the front desk staffed 24/7. Any question asked was answered promptly and with care. Additionally, the apartments are gorgeous, well appointed and fulfilled our needs during the week. If we visit Philadelphia again, we will definitely be staying here.

This was our first time at Roost and everything was excellent. Sean checked us in after a long day of travel and he couldn’t have been nicer. It was like greeting an old friend when we met Sean. We stayed in a one bedroom with a den and it exceeded our expectations. So clean, beautifully furnished, and all the necessary amenities. The rain shower was so refreshing. Chanelle and Kate were also very nice and accommodating. When in town on previous stays we stayed at one of the Center City hotels but so glad we discovered this jewel and we will be back next year for our annual visit to the city.

Stayed at the Roost Rittenhouse for a long stay and instantly felt like family. Throughout the stay, the rooms and public areas were meticulously maintained. And the Roost team was quick to fix any issues that arose. Perhaps the most stand-out aspect of our stay was the professionalism, hospitality, and friendliness of the team. All team members quickly learned our habits, preferences, and friends' names (for when they came to visit). They all went above and beyond to personalize service and make our stay exceptional. I felt as if the team members anticipated my needs and desires before they even popped into my head! Overall, a fantastic experience.

Really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful location. The over all ability of this hotel to create a home like environment feeling, was welcoming and creative. We stayed in the one bedroom style apartment that provided lots of space, laundry, and great 360 views. The area was great for restaurants, shopping, and spa. The service I received from Shawn and Lisa was expecting. Shawn made me feel really welcome and he was knowable about area. I wish there was a Roost house in New Orleans.

Where do we begin? We stayed at ROOST for our wedding weekend along with the rest of our wedding party. Our incredible penthouse was the hub for a large amount of our activities and honestly made our weekend so special. 1. Location - The location is prime and in middle of everything. Hot spot. 2. Decor - One of the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing hotels that we have ever stayed in. And we’ve stayed in many. 3. Rooms - Beds were comfortable and rooms were very spacious. The kitchen had more than what we needed for our stay. The rooms are very inviting and truly make you feel like you’re at home. 4. Staff - Last but most certainly not least, the staff was amazing. Everyone we interacted with was super helpful and awesome to talk with. No matter what time of the day it was, everyone pitched in if we needed help. In particular, Sean was the s*%t! He went above and beyond for us and made our experience unforgettable! One for the books and in large due to Sean. Stay here. We’re serious.

I give an excellent rating to this structure because just everything was perfect. The apartment was in perfect shape and very comfortable with every available amenity that one could ask for. The staff was very friendly and the front desk personnel resolved some important logistical problems for me that, as an ex-pat, had me against the ropes. A special thank you to Sean and Miss Dee for their invaluable service, along with Charles and Jamal, who were always ready to make my stay the pleasure it was. The Roost will be my place of choice when I'll again be back in Philadelphia.

Having relocated from Atlanta and staying at the Roost Rittenhouse while waiting for home construction to be complete, the Roost has become a home away from home. First, the apartment is modern, clean, and quiet with great daylight from the numerous windows. The common areas such as the lobbies, elevators and lounge are also clean and modern and provide a pleasant vibe as you walk through. Second, the location is fantastic - with only a few minute walk you will find yourself at some of Philadelphia’s best restaurants, great shops, gyms, parking, University City and many parks. But most importantly, and what makes The Roost Rittenhouse extra special, is the team of great people who work here. Shawn, Dee, Chanel, Jamal, Austin and the rest of the team are always there to greet you with a smile (you can tell even though they have masks on) and proactively do whatever they can to make your stay memorable. They make you feel comfortable, welcome and at home! I have enjoyed my stay here immensely and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Philadelphia. Thank you Roost Team! Paul Kiernan

We stayed for a month while apartment hunting and we loved staying at the roost! The amazing staff made us feel right at home and the team would always take the time to give us recommendations and really great advice about philly! When they heard we got engaged, they gave us a bottle of champagne and a lovely note congratulating us, which we really appreciated. As strangers and newcomers to Philly, the roost made us feel so welcome, and we were extremely heartened by their hospitality and ready to start our lives in this new city! Special thanks to Kate, Sean and Jamal who took extra special care of us.

It was like being at home except it was a hotel! The apartment was truly lovely but nothing was better than the staff who treated us so well. Our sincere thanks to Lisa, Sean, Dee, and Jamaal who made us feel so welcomed. It was a key ingredient to a great 4 day vacation in Philly.

We stayed at ROOST for about a month after relocating to Philadelphia and had a fantastic experience. The apartments are elegant and clean, the location just a few blocks from Rittenhouse Square can't be beat, and most notably, the staff is tremendous. Sean and Jamal in particular were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. I look forward to recommending ROOST Rittenhouse to friends & family in the future!

I don't normally write reviews, but felt motivated to do so because both front desk staffmembers --Sean and Lisa-- made the stay wonderful. They were friendly and helpful. Beyond that the suite was spacious, well designed and furnished, and in a great location. Highly recommend!

Recently stayed at the Roost in Rittenhouse for a month for business. We stayed in a 1 bedroom which was spacious and extremely clean. Would have likely a bit more basic items to use in kitchen but it worked out. Excellent location. the staff and housekeeping are what made this month so enjoyable. In particular, Sean and Lisa were always so kind and welcoming. I wish I was able to learn the other staff members names as well as housekeeping who were so fantastic! Will definitely recommend this to family and friends in future.

I was in town to photograph a wedding and I couldn't have picked a better hotel! Roost Rittenhouse was in the best location, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable to relax in during down times. Shaun & Lisa were very hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. They truly care about their guests and want them to feel like they are staying at an extension of their own home. Looking forward to staying there again hopefully sooner than later with my family!
