My husband and I ate here a couple nights ago and everything was excellent! It was their limited menu since they are so new but still plenty of delicious options! The bruschetta or meatballs are both a great starter and the pasta is delicious!

To start, we had the Heirloom Caprese salad and a Beet salad... so much flavor! The tomatoes tasted like they were right out of your garden; so fresh. For entrees, we had the Baked Maccheroni, the Gnocchi Burrata, and the Tagliatelle Short Rib pasta...all of them excellent! The gnocchi was in the top 3 we've ever had. For dessert, we had the Semifreddo Tiramisu and a selection of 3 finger-sized cannoli. Again, all delicious. We had Neprica Cabernet Sauvignon and an espresso martini for drinks. One of the best espresso martinis I've ever had. It's served with a cannoli on top. Use the cannoli to stir the martini before drinking. Delicious. In short, if you're going to a concert or a sporting event downtown, get there a couple hours earlier than normal and enjoy a nice dinner and some drinks. Highly recommended!

We hit this place up before the Diamondbacks vs Padres game. We also celebrated our anniversary with a lunch and some good food before the game. It was pretty quiet while we were there but the atmosphere was nice, the service was great, and the food was very good and well presented. Since we were celebrating our anniversary one of the wait staff named Donna congratulated us, brought us a glass of champagne, and a choice of dessert which was unexpected but very nice. The other staff also congratulated us, thank you. The entire menu looked amazing. We had the calamari and shrimp fritto as an appetizer, gnocchi burrata in a tomato cream sauce with mozzarella and basil which was very good, and a slow roasted rib tagliatelle pasta. Highly recommend!

Best pizza in Downtown Phoenix, staff is incredible, the Managers are Actually ITALIAN- Thank God , the bartender is French and a real mixologist. This place makes the Pasta Fresh everyday from scratch ... it's a hidden Gem - if you want to be impressed Try Rosso Italiano !

Great Italian food downtown, fast and friendly service. Quiet spot tucked in next to arrogant butcher. Food was delicious, we had the gnocchi and house salad. The gnocchi was soft and delicate, with creamy tomato sauce. We also had the vegan margherita pizza! Very friendly staff and food came out fast.

Our waitress was awesome. She recommended the bruschetta for an app and it did not disappoint! My girlfriend got the salmon, medium, and enjoyed it. I got tagliatelle short rib and it was fantastic. We also got an espresso martini that came with a mini canoli.

I’m not familiar with downtown Phoenix and my daughter and I were attending an event downtown and we wanted a nice dinner experience. Rosso is an excellent option and the food was excellent. We both had pizza and salad and both were delicious. Chiara was our waitress and she was attentive and had the most wonderful Italian accent.

We really enjoyed our time at Rosso! Service was fast, and everyone was very kind, attentive, and took cues on transitions between drinks, food, dessert, and bill. Our waitress Leila was wonderful. We got the NY Strip, Pork Milanese, and Short Rib Tagliatelle. Everything tasted great, our only critique is that the meat dishes were just a little too salty for our liking. Good combinations on the plates otherwise. Paloma was decent, nothing special. Same with cannolis. We’d come back to try another pasta dish and pizzas.

This is exactly what we were looking for in Italian cuisine! The location and atmosphere are amazing. The staff were friendly and very attentive. All of our dishes were delivered together, served quickly, fresh, hot, and delicious. The short rib with polenta was the ultimate comfort food. We were also treated to a complimentary tiramisu dessert. Someone must have spilled the beans that I was there celebrating my birthday. This is definitely our new go to spot for delicious and authentic Italian.

Loved this place. we we’re staying downtown and it was an easy walk. We had the the most amazing server Fabio. He was so attentive and helpful. The whole dinner was spectacular! The apps, wine, entrees and desserts! We would go there again!!

This is now hands down my favorite Italian restaurant. The service is excellent, the presentation is immaculate, and the food is phenomenal. We ordered Tagliatelle Short Rib and the Gnocchi Burrata. I can’t pick a favorite because they were wonderful in such different ways. I can’t remember the name of the desert, but it was Limoncello with merengue, caramel and basil. It was unreal. I can’t recommend it enough.

First time coming here and the this place did not disappoint. They have really delicious drinks and food. The service was fast and efficient. Cute place inside and not too busy on a Friday night before the D Backs game. Had the Maccheronj Al Forno and was so good and flavorful. The pizza was also bomb. Do yourself a favor and come have Italian here!

I have never had a single bad entree here. Everything is always delicious and the tiramisu is the best I've ever tried. Our server Avalon was amazing too.

All was awesome ! The ambiance was quite and with a lovely Italian music. The foods unbelievable, chef Marco it’s the top and service with Giulio and Laila was really funny and professional! The perfect corner for Italian vibes!

Had dinner with my boyfriend here for his birthday. Heard amazing reviews from colleagues and friends before coming here and everything definitely lived up to its reputation. We started off with the Foccacia w/ house made pesto along with the Chianti wine, made our way through the maccheroni Al forno and gnocchi burrata (to die for!), and finished off the night with a delicious bday dessert pudding!! Our waiter was from Italy himself and gave the best suggestions. Definitely will have to come back!

Absolutely amazing! And Julio our waiter was fantastic! Everything was delicious from the cocktails to the food to the dessert! Very trendy! Loved it!

Great place for dinner. Both my steak and dessert tasted amazing. It was quite humid/warm in there, however and trying to cool down with ice water was hard as we were given the tiniest water glasses. Might be a change to consider in the super hot summer months to switch to larger glasses.

The food was delicious! The inside was beautiful and our server Giulio was great. I would definitely eat here again whenever I'm in the area. The Luna Latte was gorgeous and even came with a little canoli!

A bright and hopping atmosphere with a bit of Italian ambiance. The beat salad was a nice surprise with additional dried beats. Pasta was also excellent and clearly fresh. Topping it all was pizza that brought back memories of pizza in Naples Italy. Excellent

The atmosphere was awesome! The muscles to start were delicious! Giulio was a great server and recommended an amazing pasta dish (creamy sausage) and the pizza with honey was delicious!! Overall great dinner experience downtown.

Fabio provided great service and had good sense of humor. The short rib pasta had great flavor and was delicious. I’d definitely come back to have dinner again.

AMAZING food! I had the fussiloni rosso and it was incredible. Giulio recommended it to me. He was the best server!! So attentive, knew the menu so well, was so helpful, was able to get me a couple extra things I wanted on the side, and just made it a great experience. The atmosphere is amazing, the service is great, and the food is out of this world. You definitely need to come give this place a try!! I'll definitely be back!!

Went on the second day they served lunch. Similar vibe to Pomo. Great ambiance and loved the food. We got a pasta and panini. Bartender was super nice!

All the qualities of a good high end restaurant without a high price. Excellent drinks! Patrick, the bartender was excellent! He made me a Mezcal drink. Just perfect!! Definitely a top Italian spot.

Guilio was an excellent server extremely friendly and attentive. Food was excellent handmade pasta. Would come back anytime. They just opened 4 days ago and I would recommend everyone run and try it!
