Great little spot. The ramen was delicious! The broth was so rich. I absolutely love the egg add on, definitely completes the dish. Staff is very friendly and you can see them make the ramen. Some great art work on the board outside.

2/15/22: Really great spot. Nice staff. Ordered the HH special (Sapporo and Gyoza), side of karaage (because I try it every time it's on the menu), and Hokkaido Ramen. Everything really good. The broth is flavorful without being too rich. I can see how some may think it's not much but I enjoyed it. Noodles done perfectly with the right amount of bite. Karaage is very crispy and juicy, good flavor in the batter. Loved the gyoza was served with a rice vinegar/Shoyu mix. Yum!

Wonderful little hidden gem in downtown Phoenix. DELICIOUS Ramen! Rich and savory broth(spicy chicken miso), fresh noodles and veggies. Green tea cheese cake for the Win! And excellent and courteous staff. Definitely one of my new favorite Ramen Spots!

I feel like I have to have eaten at a completely different place than the 5-star reviewers ate. The food is extremely mid. The spicy chicken ramen lacked flavor. The chicken in the ramen was pretty flavorless and dry (just…how?). Server was nice enough. But certainly will not be coming back, not with so many better ramen places in the valley.

One of my favorite lunch spots in downtown area! People usually come here for ramen, but I also highly recommend their karaage chicken curry and katsu curry! Very authentic Japanese flavor. And the staff is very friendly, polite and sweet as well :)

I recently dined at the Ramen Kagawa restaurant, and it was an incredible experience. The food was delicious, with rich and flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh toppings. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant for any Ramen lover – it's a definite 5-star gem!

This place was a dissapointment, reviews and pictures drew me in. Ordered potatickers, they came out over cooked and a few had even exploded so no filling present. I asked for ponzu or a sauce because I thought Id seen a dipping sauce in a picture but they only had soy which came to the table in a dirty container. Pork buns looked good but missed the mark for flavor, they weren't got and could have used a drizzle of flavor. The dining room had a faint smell of old fryer oil which was confirmed when our order of Kaarage came to the table. The chicken looked completely unappetizing, burnt and dry. Ordered the Tonakatsu Ramen since Id read good reviews but unfortunately it wasn't very hot and the broth not as flavorful as I would have hoped. Maybe it was an off night for them, idk.

I did not have a good experience. I went to this location because I had looked up online, "good ramen places" and this is what came up. I thought it was interesting they offered different prefectural styles of ramen. Maybe it's because I went during the dinner rush that my food wasn't good but it's still not acceptable if they can't make good food when they're busy. I got pork buns, the bun itself was overcooked and too hard to eat in places, the cabbage was wet and there was barely any sauce on the buns. The ramen was worse. I got the Hokkaido Miso Ramen and I was not expecting a slab of butter sitting in my bowl but sure enough there it was. I'm pretty sure the corn was just Bird's Eye frozen sweet corn too but the broth barely had any flavor. It felt very oily I think especially in due part to the slab of butter they wanted to use for part of the "presentation", which the presentation itself was unappealing. I eventually stopped eating because I got sick of the flavor fast and the butter really ruined my appetite so I didn't finish my food. The service was bad but I don't blame the server, it was incredibly packed and she was the only one manning the whole dining room. They need to staff the place better. I was disappointed though because I wanted to order one of the Yuzu Lager's they had but she only approached me once to give me my drink/take my order. I was sick of the ramen and just wanted out of there; I was too disappointed I wasted my money to stay any longer. Maybe if you go you'll have a better experience but I do not recommend this place. Save your money and go somewhere better.

The ramen was fantastic. Super tasty broth and it was everything you want. The gyoza was fried to perfection. Super crispy on the outside and the feeling inside was delicious. The pork boa’s unfortunately was awful. The bun was cold and falling apart, the pork had no taste and same thing with the cabbage. Just no love given to them at all. So that’s why the 4 stars.

Small and easy. Tasty and chill. Worth checking out. Big bowls that will fill you up. The broth is unbelievably full of flavors! The habanero is Spicy but not overly “can’t taste anything” spicy

Ight here we go Kagawa is a good ramen spot, i had the spicy pork miso. I like the broth and noodle; broth was amazing very flavorful like I was back in Japan 🇯🇵 again. Noodles was not over or under cook it was just right. The pork slices was to thigh which made it a little cold on the inside and the cabbage 🥬 that came with it was a little under cook. But over all 6/10 good Ramen 🍜 spot definitely recommend. The deco was really good had some authentic Japanese design to it.

We ordered the tonkotsu ramen, spicy miso ramen with soft boiled eggs and the seaweed salad. They were delicious, the broth was very flavorful. The noodles they used were the chuka soba so they were curly and a bit more chewy compared to the more common straight thin ones.

Service was good and fast but nothing to write home about. The clear star of this restaurant was the ramen. It was my first time ever trying authentic ramen and I was skeptical at first but IMPRESSED. I found myself craving it days later. Do yourself a favor and order the Taiyaki for dessert. This might be one of my favorite things I've ever put in my mouth. It tastes like a delicious fish shaped donut with a cocoa center.

Authentic Japanese ramen (I say this having visited Tokyo several times). Very flavorful, fills you up. I could have shared my bowl with at least another adult. $17 for Tokyo shoyu ramen with an egg added. Would recommend the egg, adds another level to the dish.

Had the veggie ramen, it was more curry and less broth, way too sweet for me. Not a great experience with the service too, we were served the bill before the ramen Atmosphere is pretty good. Seems like a nice place for a casual meal.

Best ramen in AZ. The broth in the ramen is flavorful; make sure to add a soft boiled egg for extra nom. The karaage chicken is on point as well. The drinks are well priced - you can grab tasty cheap sake, an incredible yuzu lager, or high balls for $10. Ambience is simple but def a vibe.

We wanted to try Harumi Sushi next door, but there was a one hour wait, so we decided to try Ramen Kagawa so that we didn't have to wait outside in the heat. There was no wait at Ramen Kagawa. The ramens were not great. In my bowl of Hokaido (missing a K in the menu by the way. It's Hokkaido) Miso Ramen, I had broth, noodles, soft boiled egg, cabbage (why?), chashu, corn, and about a tablespoon slice of butter. The noodle was undercooked. The corn was room temperature. The cabbage was really cold. The inside of the soft boiled egg and chashu was cold. The butter didn't even melt because the broth was luke warm. The server was explaining to me that they put the ramen together with ingredients that are premade, refrigerated, and put into the bowl. For the chashu, they sear it before it's put into the bowl, he said. I'm guessing the corn was room temperature because it wasn't refrigerated and was from a can that was at room temperature. We had three different bowls of ramen, and all were the same. The broth should be hot! It's one thing to not make the broth or the noodles in-house. I can understand Japanese restaurants that don't want to spend the effort in making the noodles. I can also understand if they don't want to make their broth, however, I will refuse to eat a bowl of ramen if they don't at least make their own broth. Ramen Kagawa does make their broth. To put food together with premade ingredients and not even heat them up is pretty lazy and terrible. At least make it so your customers don't notice that you're cutting corners. The karaage was overcooked and dry. Maybe they get overcooked because it's premade and being refrigerated (frozen maybe?), it takes longer to deep fry. They also don't make their gyoza. They buy them frozen, and heat them up. Sometimes they make them in-house, the server said. Google the term Kodawaru. If a Japanese restaurant is Japanese owned, they should be pridefully serving good food. What's the point if the food is terrible? After I spoke with the server about the ramem being cold, he gave us a 15% discount. I think he should have just taken the ramen off the ticket. I would not return, and I don't recommend you go either.

Just okay . Unfortunately left San diego and moved back to AZ and was needing a Ramen fix. Was excited to see they had vegetarian options as I do not eat pork. Unfortunately the creamy vegetarian broth was fairly sweet and had no umami flavor. I like that it included Tofu as lots of places do not. However there weren't any extras in the Ramen other than cabbage and the extra charge for the egg. If they could adjust the broth to have less sweetness and maybe add more veggies or ginger etc, I'd consider coming back . On another note Staff were friendly and food came hot, place was decently clean as well.

Great, prompt service and food. The extra surprise you get in your bowl with cold sake is great! Good value. The Spicy Miso Pork Ramen bowl was excellent. The server was great. Fast, efficient and always checking making sure all was good. Highly recommend Ramen Kagawa! Will be back here!

The Pork Ramen is amazing! The add ons were perfect. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Best meal I've had in a long, long time. Loved it. Thank you

There was only one option available for a vegetable broth that included a creamy ingredient that did not jive well with the chicken. My husband had a pork broth that had a much better taste. Great customer service and atmosphere is perfect for any event you wish to hold here rather it be personal or business.

We got here 5 minutes after it opened and was almost full! Everyone's food was amazing. Great deal on happy hour.

We're craving for ramen and saw this one had a better rating. Overall the taste was pretty good. Very simplified menu only a few categories of foods. Ramen was $11.5 each before tax. I feel like with this price they've made it more food...?! The broth as they advertised the most was indeed pretty great but a little too rich for me and my stomach couldn't process the fat in the soup fast enough. Pork tonkasu was soft and flavorful but too fatty. It's missing the seaweed sheet, soft broil egg and bamboo shoot as the ramen I had somewhere else. Staff was great. Small place but good vibe.

They have happy hour from 5-7 and that's a definite bonus. The bathroom was comfortable and the staff were amicable enough. I went with the Hokkaido and it lacked flavor so I'd recommend either adding spice or avoiding it all together. We also got the Tonkatsu and this was more flavorful but still meh. My vegan friends were very satisfied with their ramen. Overall it could be better. A party of 6 or more automatically pays 18% gratuity. They don't split up checks so designate someone to pay for everyone and figure out the reimbursement math later.

This is the most flavorful ramen place in Phoenix that I’ve had so far. It’s hard to find some authentic places that continue with great quality taste and not slowly go down hill. My noodles weren’t over cooked and my broth was creamy and not watery. The food was just as they advertised. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite ramen restaurants 😋 the broth is stellar, creamy and flavorful. The noodles are cooked Al Dente but they hold the flavor of the broth too, but the ultimate gem to me are the soft boiled eggs the perfect consistency and the flavor blows you away, they don't have their own parking lot but there is cheap metered parking nearby, you can pay via coins, card or app
