The experience started with the service, and our waiter was engaging , personable, and attentive to our needs. The food was good! We went in with zero expectations, as the visit was completely random. My burger, the Marrakesh, was done nicely and cooked to order. I ordered a side salad, which had amazing greens and a light dressing that was a compliment to the salad, not a drowning. We sat outside, on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't crowded, and the atmosphere was nice.

Wonderful service, delicious food and strong tasty drinks. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our lunch date here. Definitely recommend and look forward to coming back.

Everything was delicious. I ordered the burrito and was not disappointed Nd was not your normal breakfast burrito. I do recommend adding the sausage. My wife ordered the baja breakfast Tacos omg mind blowing favor. They kinda looked like chilaquiles. Everything has its own flare. I can't wait to go back and try something new. This was an interesting place. The menu has a lot of different options. Different cuisines from different regions. We went for late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday and it was pretty chill. The margs are solid. I’d probably head back if I was invited for happy hour.

We headed here after seeing a show at the nearby theater and was greeted with a bit of hostility as they told us we only had 10 minutes to order. Ironically after sitting and ordering straight away, it took 20 minutes to get the water we asked for and we had to ask again for it. The attitude was one of us being an inconvenience for giving them our business! The guy we asked to check on our water gave us such a filthy look for asking and even said “I’m not your server” … hello it’s last orders and only one other table in our area! When the food came it wasn’t that hot, the sweet potato fries would have tasted so much better if they had been … I’m hoping it was a one off that we just caught them on an “off night” while quiet but we won’t be hack to see

We have been here so many times, delicious food. You can't go wrobg with the Fez burger. Upgrade to the grilled veggies, they are really tasty!

Update 06/22/20: Had to leave Phoenix for almost a year, when I came back the first thing my husband and I wanted was Fez because of their great quality food and attention to detail. The Romana Fresca is amazing and absolutely delicious to the last bite.

Atmosphere is always delightful. Eating outside or inside. I have tried almost all of menu. I order the calamari every time. Their specials are usually worth trying. Big fan of the presses. Service is always top notch. Bartenders are great! Every employee is beyond accommodating. I’ve stopped in at every time of the day, different times of the year. It’s always worth the stop. Parking isn’t bad, if you use the parking garage. I ping my location to friends. All around great place to eat or drink.

I bought the Fiz Fit plate. I love huge portions and for $17 I was very surprised how large the plate was. This is now one of my favorite places and I will be back again. Service could have been better, like the server was cool but never refilled my water, but still got the job done. But food was still great. Contrary to the comment below I thought the meats tasted good and sausage was not spicy to me.

Nice location and easy to get to with light rail access. Interior is spacious with a nice bar and there's a good amount of outdoor patio seating for those good weather days. For drinks there are plenty of cocktail options and a few beers on draft and in bottles/cans. I had the spicy nacho cheeseburger and although it was good, I had been hoping for more spicy nacho cheese.

A hop skip and a jump away in Phoenix, this restaurant has the perfect atmosphere and menu to match! Each bite was packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of crunch to flavor ratio. We were seated immediately and our server Steven was great and absolutely helpful with picking the perfect sandwich to fit our flavor palette. 10/10 would recommend! Do yourself a favor and try this place!

Yes, yes, and yes! The food is amazing and the service was great. My fiancé and I stumbled upon The Fed after our photo shoot and we were not disappointed. You get no small portions and yes I needed a to go box. My fiancé had the spicy nacho burger with sweet potato fries ( which i never liked) but I’ll eat these. I had the Casablanca chicken sandwich with rosemary garlic fries OMG. All of the food has amazing flavors. We will be back Oh and the cauliflower wings, good gawd!!!

Ok, first night in Phoenix and more importantly first restaurant. Of course I stopped in the arts district and came across FEZ a Mediterranean restaurant. Now I firmly believe there are three things that don’t come together they are Good, Fast & Cheap. After eating here I stand corrected. I ordered the Gyro Pita and my brother had the spicy grilled chicken sandwich both come with a Spinach based salad. It was Good, Fast and for where I am it is absolutely affordable. Our waiter Fabian domaines to us that the outdoor party two blocks away was called first night, he assisted in our ordering and was absolutely phenomenal in helping us choose our meal of the evening. 5 stars for cleanliness, attentiveness, presentation and taste. You must come to FEZ!

Really cool place. We stopped by after getting a hair cut. Drinks were great. We ordered a combination of "spot" drinks. The Fez Burger was amazing! The feta fries were awesome! I would definitely come back to try a few more things. If you are looking for a nice trendy spot downtown to grab a bite to eat this is your place! From burgers to chicken Fez has you covered. Our waiter was great and the service was fast making this restaurant a 5 star in my opinion.

Fez is such an amazing place to get food and be with friends. I really loved our waiter. They were so sweet to bring my friend a birthday desert. The banana desert was one of the best deserts I have had in years. I can't wait to go back!

Had friends from out of town. Had told them what a nice place this was. Food was great , service was good However when they ran the credit card they add a 20% tip to our bill. Lucky one of the couple notices. This was outline. Was definitely a turn off.

From the one of a kind menu to the accomodating crew, you can truly feel the amount of love, time and thought that has gone into each moment of your experience at Fez. Their garlic hummus and g-spot cocktail got me through some tough years! Lol. I am and always will be team Fez for life. You won't find a better place. I never have ♥️

There are times when places try too hard to be all things. This is a perfect example. The food tends to be overly complex mixing ingredients that really do not blend well. The staff is ok but not fully attentive. In a city with a rapidly expanding choice of good restaurants, this is not my first choice. Nothing was bad, but nothing left me feeling like I’d want to go back.

Had the Guadalajara salad. Very flavorful, very dense for a salad. There's option to add a protein but you don't need it. Service was very friendly. Seemed very clean as well and you can tell the effort that the kitchen takes to prepare the food. Easily would recommend

Great Sandwiches

One of my favorite restaurants in Phoenix. Period. Great food, drinks, service, you name it. Definitely in the mid-range of pricing, so you'll probably end up spending $15-20 a person. They have modified their menu for the reopening after Covid, so some favorite items may not be there, but they are very accommodating about substitutions so you should have no problem getting exactly what you want there. They also are very clean and taking many precautions. Pictures are of a fry combo basket (sweet potato and garlic/rosemary) and the shrimp tacos (with some extra toppings to match the baja tacos from before--my personal favorite!)

$30 for a margarita in a Ziploc? Price was undisclosed of course. The gal there couldn't even remember the order for 2 people when she tried to repeat it back. Ugh.. PEOPLE... honestly, in this time of limited dollars, FEZ is not the place you want to spend that $$$$$.

We visited this establishment before our world went crazy. It was delicious and refreshing. Leftovers went home with each of us and the re-heat was just as good!

Not sure why the reviews are so positive. Nothing here seemed exceptional. I got bangers and mash, which was tasty, though the garlic mashed potatoes could have been more garlicky. The sweet potato fries were mushy, coated with sugar and cloyingly sweet; more reminiscent of French toast sticks than fries. We ended with a lemon curd tart (note: do not, as I did, commit an unfortunate spoonerism when ordering), which was passable but lacked the crisp tartness that would have made it exceptional. The service was friendly, very casual and a bit slow. Overall, I would be happy to return, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Fez has good sandwiches and salad. But service is getting worst each time we go there maybe they tend to their regulars first. We mention this situation to the owner once he came out defensive

Enjoyed a very delicious Valentine's day dinner at FEZ. Was able to make reservations, and was seated without any wait at our reserved time. Staff was very attentive, and gave great insights into different dishes we were trying to decide between. The menu has so many good things to choose from it was hard to pick.

This was a decent brunch spot to visit in a quaint little downtown area of Phoenix. I would say the food is good as well. Drinks are decent for example mimosas, not a place for bloody marys. Other than that i would come here again.

The manager and bar tenders choose to make their own decisions about who you are without even speaking to you! An assessment was made beyond judgment based on your own preference of music choices. My choice of music was on my phone. This establishment is not friendly focus with people of color! I truly had a good experience the weekend before but management focus need to be more appropriate with soft skills apposed to skin skills! For the manager to to be totally ln appropriate with what his bar tender said to me, and validate what was said was totally disparaging. I don't care that you're a member of the LGBTQ community, I'm an advocate of right period. My points was totally invalidated because he felt some kind of way! The customer may not always be right but in this case I was!!

Waiting room only for inside dining room; we sat at the bar. We had chopped salad, American cheeseburger, and fried cauliflower taco chipotle dressing;all were fresh & DELICIOUS... More than the delectable delights, were the knowledgeable friendly staff and bartender with big smiles and kind words to share. Crowd was enjoying themselves throughout the restaurant... I will be back next time on the city...

They did take a reservation for our large group. I tried one of their cocktails...cherry bomb...pours are pretty light for the price. I tried one of their appetizers, lettuce wraps...enough for 2 people as a meal. A little disappointed in that the filling was a little bland. But I'd go back to try something else.

Took a quick road trip from Vegas to Phoenix and had remembered good things about FEZ from when I visited there 3 years ago on a work trip. This visit was great. Really enjoyed the chips and queso as well as the burger.

Fantastic food at reasonable prices, great cocktails, and an awesome vibe—consistently... for 15 years! Not many places can say that but Fez just delivers. Brunch, lunch, dinner, happy hour... I try to make it here at least once a week when I’m in Phoenix. Favorites: Baja breakfast, Fez burger with sweet potato fries, and pomegranate margarita.

The outdoor seating with the heat lamps was perfect. The guacamole was the best I’ve had; The service was great, the drinks and dinner were also very good. I would highly recommend the brownie and ice cream for dessert. I loved the texture of the brownie.

This is such a fun restaurant. Every time I come there I'm just happy that I did. The food is amazing, the bartender always makes things that fill my heart with joy, but the environment itself... just the inside of the building is gorgeous and whimsical. This is one of my favorite places to go if I want to hang out with someone that I haven't seen in a long time, kind of show off the city, and have a few drinks. Fez is located in a beautiful part of downtown. Patio seating is great once the weather cools. Eggs over medium were very greasy...coffee was ok. Waitress was not familiar with the menu so that was not a good sign

I needed this meal! Fez is one of those places that I have NEVER been disappointed. I ordered so much food {but forgot to take some pictures because I was getting drunk!} and enjoyed it ALL!!! I still remember the first time I went to Fez {not like dates and times}, it was GBF and my date night. He drove up from Tucson and was staying in Phoenix with a friend. I drove to the original location off Central past Thomas {I think!}. MY GBF introduced me to the Chicken Phyllo and my mine was CHANGED!! Best thing in my mouth! But NOW driving to the new location and sitting on the patio, during cooler weather, makes me so happy! I still get the Chicken Phyllo no matter who is with me, I have some VeggieTale friends. But tonight I drank these delicious on happy hour for $5 drinks along with my two-choices Fries - always Harissa and Rosemary Garlic {don’t waste these amazing fries on the ketchup-I will make you rethink your choices!}. Tonight I went with the chicken fettuccini and man was it delicious! Can’t wait for my next Fez outing!

Stopped in before an event at the Irish Cultural Center. Service was very, very good. Chicken pesto sandwich was fantastic. Every bite was full of flavor. Balsamic Bleu Bacon burger was great as well. Fun staff. Stop by some time. BBB old fashioned was great as well

Ordered gyros to go. The items came out very quickly! The meat was nice and tender. The sauce is perfect. The pita was good. It seems like a great place for martinis, and there were a lot of people enjoying items from the drink menu with their food, but it appeared most were there for the food.

This food, drinks & service never disappoints. I love that they have a batch drink ready to pour! I parked on Portland & walked down the tree lined street. Reminds me of the east coast.

Probably the most unique chicken sandwich I've ever had, and it was so good! The service was fast and friendly. Our server came many times to check in on us.

I love this place - always a must when I’m visiting Phoenix. I kind of miss the old location, but this one still has a nice vibe to it. Lots of great choices but I find myself coming back to the FEZ Burger most times with the garlic rosemary fries. The sweet potato fries are good too - ask for a side of the bbq aioli, it’s delicious!

This place is really good, I do recommend to get Cauliflower Wings, they have been the best one I've tried so far. You gotta be patient to get a table because they're always packed. Free parking at the garage, you can't miss it

Walking in on a very casual Thursday night 8:30pm to a not busy Fez. The restaurant staff was happy to greet and get us a table very quickly with kind and friendly manner. Our waiter had a strong and sassy very interesting personality on giving us our options on the menu. 🙌✨ the drinks are not light either very even mix. Had the pasta, Fry's, and the burrito.The Fetta Fry's are delicious 🔝 and were delicious. Would come back anytime to this relaxed and bright bar/grill.

an absolute hidden gem! Came in for dinner not totally knowing what to expect, as a friend had recommended this spot! They have several different types of cuisine from latin, mediterranean, and italian. They also have burgers and sandwiches if that’s more your vibe. Everything we ordered was so tasty. The quality of the ingredients was very apparent, and WELL worth the price! Our server was awesome and gave us some great recommendations. Wish I had gotten his name, but he was wearing black shorts and had a mustache. I would definitely recommend this spot, and come back again!

Went in and sat at the bar for dinner around 8pm on a Friday. Expected it to be busy giving the timing but there was no one else at the bar and plenty of open seating in the dining area. For a pretty empty place the bar service was slow with no follow-up and the food just ok (overcooked/dry). It was a bummer since I had been in several times a few years ago and it was far more lively with better food.

Such a friendly staff. We loved Joey as our server. He's very sweet and accommodating. There were 8 of us going to a show and we all had different needs and he was so great with our group. Food was great as well. The hummus was as garlicky as the menu said! 😋 the burger was fantastic as well as the chicken lettuce wraps. Great place to go if you're hitting up downtown for any reason as its right on the lightrail path.

Nice little find along Portland St. The interior design is very inviting, makes for a great spot to hang out. Their food was pretty good. The fry basket is an absolute just, the garlic rosemary is something special and the fries are nice and crispy! The Golden Curry was a little bit disappointing. It was served in the same dish with rice, I would have preferred them separate as it made the rice a bit soggy after some time and changed the flavor for worse. Would definitely visit this place again and explore some other items on the menu when we're in the area. Thank you FEZ! Nicely done!
