Awesome service. I can hardly get enough of the Mediterranean chicken salad! It's so hearty and good! Very clean and quite restaurant. Great staff. Fast service. Indoor/outdoor seating available. Street parking nearby.

We went in for dinner on a Tuesday night and it wasn't crowded at all. Our hostess was super sweet and polite. They have a huge establishment with lots of open space and comfortable seating. The space doesn't feel congested at all. The menu is extensive and they have a lot of options. We ordered their spicy chicken roll and the tzatziki dip. The dip was refreshing and delicious. It was served with a pita bread. The bread was good too. The problem was with the chicken roll. It wasn't really spicy, and the stuffing had a strong turmeric flavor. The roll has rice in it, which is mixed with a lentil soup (Daal). Since pita bread is soft and gets soggy very quickly, the starts to fall apart and eating it becomes increasingly difficult. Taste wise too we were disappointed with the roll as the Daal flavour was too overpowering. We think we were disappointed since we had high expectations considering its strong ratings. Perhaps we'd be better off trying something else next time. It is worth mentioning that the service is top notch. Our hostess was considerate enough to give us a discount on the bill when we told her our review of the food. We appreciate that our feedback was handled appropriately by the management. It makes us want to visit the restaurant again.

Great food and staff service was excellently. The utilized all safety/cdc precautions. The atmosphere is welcoming and you can be indoors/outdoors. The Tea I had was amazing. Not bad on the price but my lunch was around $19 once I finished ordering everything.

Horrible experience here , I will never come back and I will definitely be telling my friends and family about this place . I go in there with my husband ,never once greeted or asked if we need a table or they could help us ,we got nothing . Another couple (white couple)walks in ,they were greeted with smiles and laughter and were told we're to sit by the server ,same server that saw us standing there . She tells the other couple to " just sit anywhere they like" so after hearing that we sat as well. Same server comes to our table still no greet ,no hi ,no nothing just drops off the menus and walks off. So at this point we just walk out! Here's the thing , were we treated like this because I'm Mexican ? Did the server think we couldn't afford our meals? Did we just not look the par? It's because of people like this that racism and discrimination exist . I will never again go in there . I wouldn't even give you a star. Ended up at the Coronado , where we always get excellent customer service, excellent food, excellent people. 6/20/19 Had dinner here last night , VI was our server she was AMAZING! She really took great care of us . The dishes we picked were so delicious! Definitely a very different experience this time around 😊

We love, love Pita Jungle. They are so easy to order with, lots of healthy options, and the greatest service. Occasionally, we will walk over for a drink at their bar and finish the night with their gyro bowl. It’s always a guaranteed delicious ending.

Went into pita jungle on 9/3/22 for a late lunch.. and now I’m feeling super sick.. might even be food poisoning. I couldn’t finish all of my food because mid way through I noticed that the chicken was very red and pink and another piece had a vein with uncooked parts running through it. I tried my best to be peaceful and not cause a scene because there were others dinning around me but the manager took my kindness for weakness. I truly expected more to be done about this other than a slight discount (manager was tan skinned with glasses and tattoos, male)… is that all that he was willing to do after allowing a patron to eat raw chicken? He condescendingly said “you’ll be ok” and “it’s JUST a little pink spot and vein” …sir that was bright pink and red.. please do not be patronizing to your customers..it shows poor customer service and management skills in my opinion and a lack of actual care for customer health and safety. I calmly paid for the food and left because I’m not one to make someone realize how absurd something is in public or cause a scene…… its just a shame because now I feel physically ill…If I end up having food poisoning over this, please trust and believe that this is absolutely not the last that you’ll hear from me

I ordered the beef gyro (not pictured), it was so good, that I forgot to take a picture of it. Best gyro I've had so far. Also, got the Mediterranean antipasto platter (pictured below). My husband got a California beach bowl with blue chips on the side. Overall, everything we ordered was amazing! Great portions for the price, and the staff was very friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. Definitely recommend, and I'm looking forward to going back when we visit Phoenix again. Consistently healthy options at any Pita Jungle. First time at this particular location. Server was attentive and took care of our party (~20 of us plus 4 kids). Can't go wrong with the salmon dinner.

I've heard very good things about this place. My girlfriend and I stopped by for lunch. She got the Gyro (beef and lamb) and I bucked the trend and got their wood fired salmon. I was pleasantly surprised by the salmon and garlic mashed potatoes. We both ordered smoothies that were also very good. We'll definitely be back to try other menu items.

Pita Jungle is good. There are other pita places I like more, tbh, but the service here is always outstanding, and the food is reliably good. I had the Mac n Cheese today for the first time, and it is insanely good. I will be craving it!!

I had the worst service today when I visited this location. It took about 15 minutes before anyone even bothered to greet me or bring a menu. Then it took another 15-20 minutes to get my simple order of a falafel wrap. The food was good enough but then another 15 minutes for the waitress to bring my change. Then I was shorted $1, which I didn't realize until I left and annoyed me further because I did not want to tip her. I believe this location discriminates against single 60 something women because others have told me of similar treatment whether alone or with another senior woman.

There was a blonde haired girl handling all the orders and they were short staffed and instead of asking what the name on my order that I was picking up she told us to be seated because everything was backed up. I said there was a couple to go orders in bags right here maybe one was mine and she told me no all the orders were backed up. She proceeded to give one bag to another guy and put the other bag on the shelf. Over 30 minutes go by almost 40 and she finally asked me the name on my order and went and grabbed the same bag she put on the shelf 40 minutes prior. Thanks for wasting my time and making me lose money. I understand she may have been flustered but that is the worst service ever!!! She should be ashamed of herself and she didn't even apologize, she just tried to act like nothing happened. That is pathetic...

Been a fan of Pita Jungle for over eight years and the quality and quantity has stayed consistent! Love the laid back atmosphere, diverse menu, and tasty, delicious, and healthy items! I feel so good eating there and that is why I keep coming back. I got their gyro pita in a bowl that came with lamb with a mix of tomato, onions, tzatziki, rice, pickle, olivd oil, and slaw. I got some extra tzatziki to dip each bite in. Everything was so good. My taste buds were going crazy in a good way--super yummy. My stomach stopped me from eating more, but this will make an amazing breakfast or lunch tomorrow! Cannot wait to come back the next time I am in Phoenix.

Bit of an odd experience in miscommunication today. I ordered the Chicken Combo Platter which was delicious and filling. Decided to take it to go but our server heard otherwise and promptly threw it all away. When asked where my leftovers were, she profusely apologized and pledged to have another order made. I waited patiently and she soon came with a to go bag with extra pita as a peace offering. I get home and take it out only to discover mashed potatoes and pita bread, but not the chicken combo platter. Mashed potatoes weren't even a part of the original equation. Briana the server was fabulous in customer service and sincerity but these two vital mistakes ruined the experience. But as always they were willing to make it right.

I ordered from here twice on Doordash. The first time I had this I would rate it a 3 out of 5, pretty good but nothing amazing. For takeout, I'll have it. The second time was atrocious. The garlic sauce was grainy, the rice was mushy and overcooked. And then i checked the turkey pesto sandwich and the turkey cubes were raw. It was absolutely disgusting. I had to throw everything out unfortunately. I know these are difficult times for a business, but this was not okay. Even though I liked it the first time, I didn't like it enough to excuse this experience. PLEASE CHECK THE COOK ON YOUR FOOD!

This place was healthy and very nutritional. There was a server who made my day. I can't believe I forgot her name she is tall and has cool hair design. She made my day I just lost my uncle and I needed her love support and kindness.

GREAT location! We usually go to a different location but were in the area. Their HH food menu had way more options then our regular location. This was awesome and definitely a reason we'll b back to this specific location. We wanted to sit outside to enjoy the great weather. As it got chilli we asked to have a heater turned on. Despite it being a bit of extra work to get it put together Nate (waiter) didn't hesitate one bit. From the moment we sat till 2hrs later, we had a great evening due to the ambiance, the food and our waiter Nate. Recommend u trying their HH food menu (GREAT price) . It gives u a chance to try different dishes for cheaper.

Was there today 11.11.2020 during lunch with a friend. Ordered the chicken tikka masala and to my surprised, on my first bite I find myself chewing on a piece of glove. With COVID19 going on this is not acceptable. They gave me a new plate. When it was time to pay they didn't even bother on giving me a discount I HAD to ask for it. Well, yeah I got a $4 employee discount under what it looks like Did Not Like "DNL", instead of a comped meal or at least being honest in the receipt and discounting half off the bill FOR CHEWING ON A PIECE OF GLOVE.

Had a quick lunch on the patio. We started with Tzatziki(with chunky cucumbers) and pitas for dipping. The spicy chicken lavash bowl was REALLY spicy but delicious and chock full of veggies and yummy turmeric rice. Housemade guava lemonade was tart and fresh. My partner had the California Beach lavash (bowl) and enjoyed it very much. We were warmly welcomed into the restaurant, had quick, knowledgeable and friendly service. A perfect, late lunch...and large enough portions to take home for another full meal at home. Thanks, Pita Jungle, we enjoyed ourselves!

The meal was fantastic! The chili garlic shrimp, served sweet, were wonderful. Our servers, Sofia and Alex, were wonderful and were always accessible when we needed them. There were a lot of chocolates, which I really liked, and the cheese section shocked me. We'll go back, and I'll tell my friends and family about it.

Today, my family and I had lunch at this eatery. The waiters in this restaurant were kind, and the service was prompt. You can observe their chef while they cook your cuisine in a clear bottle. It was probably the greatest because you could see how your food was prepared and how clean the food station was. It is secure and sanitary.

Great tasting Greek Salad, good portion size which got built surprisingly super fast. Big restaurant floor size - which means enough space for social distancing during the pandemic. Plus good ambiance - with posters from Ozzy Ozbourne to Notorious B.I.G. with I found amusing.

Presentation of food and ambiance of restaurant was good. The food taste for what I had was Average, nothing extraordinary or very tasteful imo. The portion was large, so I appreciate that. But some of the rice of the tiki masala was hard and undercooked. The sauce and the chicken were good. I was confused about the parking availability and didn’t know if the garage was for guests. Need better signage. The only reason I’m giving 3/5 is I would like to come back and try another dish, maybe the salmon. I always just get the original hummas w/ kafta beef--SO GOOD ! you get a large plateful of hummas w/ the kafta and veggies on top & you get 2 pita wraps with it. delicious & so filling! they also have a really good happy hour--3-6pm every day! Try the mango margarita!

We live near the Roosevelt location so we go there fairly often. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. They also have a very good happy hour M-F with drink and food specials. Recently we had them cater appetizers for a gathering of about 15 people that we hosted. The food was above and beyond. Not only was it delicious, as always, but the amount of food was very generous. We just highly recommend this Pita Jungle location.

Paid $65 for burnt, cold, dry pizza, and pitas that were wet and cold. They never included utensils even after requesting them twice. This is obviously not the first time this establishment has been recorded to be serving sub quality food. Another reviewer posted a picture of the food they are allowing to leave the doors of their restaurant. If people are paying for this food then it should at least be edible. As the owner/manager, you should be ashamed of posting pictures of food that looks NOTHING like what the customer is actually getting. That’s deceptive, and yet, you still have our money. Garbage. Customers beware: take a look at the photos of what you see as opposed to what you actually get and pay for!

I love the food - the service is consistently poor. I get that it’s tough finding people during this time - but why would you put your grumpiest person at the front to greet people? She’s the shorter woman with glasses and never saw her smile or greet anyone. She didn’t smile until she started talking to her vi-workers. So she IS capable of being friendly just not with customers.

Pita Jungle downtown locations offers a very exciting menu made up of some really healthy choices. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and a red pepper hummus. All the food was wonderful, the dressing for the salad was great. The pits bread that came with the hummus was also nice and fluffy. The agent that assisted me with my order was Elora. She was very pleasant and cordial and offered really good service. The ambience is really nice and comfortable. Wonderful venue!!! The quote on their Togo cup says "The art of eating healthy." They definitely exceed that expectation.

I have been coming to Pita Jungle at various locations for 15+ years. I used to love the food here. I have only ever ordered the chicken shawarma pita and hummus for myself. It used to be so good, but the for the past 2 years the experience has been consistently disappointing. The chicken is consistently cold, dry and flavorless. Overall the pita is cold. The hummus is still good and one of my favorites. However, they used to serve it with warm pita bread. Now the pita bread is always cold and gummy. The person I was with on the visit ordered a grilled chicken pita. They experienced the same- cold, dry, flavorless chicken. The service (like always at every location) was mediocre. I have never not walked in to a Pita Jungle and awkwardly stood in the entrance waiting an inordinate amount of time for an employee to appear or shout at me across the restaurant with directions to a table. Again, while I was at this location last night, this review is a general review of Pita Jungle. This experience has consistently applied at every location I have visited. I should stop going since it is consistently awful, but I keep going back in hopes it returns to its former glory.

Met here before Elton John concert. Not walking distance from Chase field, and not sure Uber would have been better as traffic was still traffic going back towards Chase but still happy with our choice for dinner. Happy hour cocktails were good but very small for the price. Food was good, nothing special, but nothing bad...as expected. Service was friendly, we made restaurant from open table but got there and clearly didn't need a reservation.

The restaurant is at the corner of 3rd ave. It is very easy to find. It is very clean. The service is great. The food is fast and delicious. I ordered a lentil fentoosh salad. It is exactly the same as the picture on their menu. It tastes so good. It has a lot of flavors. There must be at least 10 ingredient in this salad. The salad has no meat, but the tastes is so good that you would not even miss meat when you eat. The portion is perfect. All vegetables are fresh. The dressing is tangy and compliment lentils and all ingredients very well. It is served with a few pieces of pita chips. Highly recommend to check out this restaurant and try their lentil salad.

Pita Jungle is a total vibe. The food is fresh and always satisfies. We love coming here because they make it easy to eat something healthy that's truly enjoyable and filling. Service is usually spot on, regardless of how busy they are.

****UPDATE**** Since returning to Pita Jungle after several years (Bad management sent us running in the opposite direction), we recently tried Pita again and to our surprise... an AMAZING new menu, great wait staff and ambience about the same. Totally surprised and an extremely welcoming change to the neighborhood. Maybe we'll consider scheduling some of our corporate outings here as before. Thank you!!!

A nice choice for families or small groups, spacious seating and an outdoor area for cooler weather, large menu with plenty of vegetarian selections…I tried the spinach pizza which was mistaken for the spinach quesadilla, and kitchen remade it quite quickly before we left. It was tasty, a little juicy style messy from the tomatoes, but worth taking home and reheating. Would like to try more drinks and menu items next time, recommend.

Okay, so let’s start this story off by we came to this specific location because the website shows it has all day happy hour. We got here at 6:30 just after weekday happy hour ends. We were informed that the website is wrong and they don’t have happy hour during the weekend. This is kind of weird, since it’s advertised they should honor it. So we decided to stay and ordered two carafe’s of sangria, one white and one red. They came back and said they were out of white. So we got two of the red instead. They brought our food out and I asked for a side of ketchup and siracha and she never brought it out. For desert we ordered a carrot cake and tried to order coffee to go with it but they were out of coffee as well. I kind of don’t understand this one, but I would think they could just brew more? But maybe they actually ran out. Then the last thing we tried to order was a bottle of ghost pepper siracha sauce and can you believe they were out of this as well. We came from Goodyear and passed a closer pita jungle because this one is usually more together and better service. Today was a huge failure.
