Stayed at this hotel for a conference. Rooms were clean but multiple light bulbs were not working during my stay. Also it was very loud in the rooms when other people opened their balconies...it shook the whole room that I was in. Staff was very nice the entire stay. Best part of the stay Food during the conference was served cold. Not a great experience. Best part was they had Starbucks coffee. The reason for the 2 star review is the golf course and the "resort fee". They charge you a 60+ dollar per day fee and give you "free" daily amenities. One of which is a session at the driving range. I went to the golf center in the afternoon on a cloudy, chilly day in the middle of the week. I was not allowed to use the driving range because I was wearing denim. There were quite literally 2 people using the driving range at the time. Meanwhile people are golfing with shorts and sweaters. I understand a dress code if you are on the golf course but this is a "free" amenity of the resort and they have no regard if you are a Marriott member or not. I also understand if it is peak season but there was nobody there. Honestly this place is nothing special.

Amazing! We paid for a day pass to the pools and it was so fun! The service was excellent- our Cabana server, Kara, was on top of everything, refilling drinks and being so friendly! The food was delicious- and we really enjoyed the complimentary popsicles they passed out while we floated in the lazy river! The pools were nice and clean- the slides had long lines but we’re definitely worth the wait- our favorite being the The Gully-Washer! The whole outdoors was so nice and pretty- definitely had a wonderful time!🤩

I've traveled and worked in the hotel industry. This property has it all. More important though, is the service. Lots of staff spread well throughout to help with everything. I even had an empty water bottle in my hand as I walked through the lobby, a staff member noticed and asked if they could throw it away for me. This is the level of service that will bring me back. The wood fired pizzas were amazing too! Bravo, keep it up!

This hotel is beautiful, but there are some gotchas that really bring down the experience, starting with the extremely aggressive parking valets. The valet staff told us we had to allow them to park our car (for $35) in order to check-in to the hotel even though we intended to self-park (for $20). According to them, we couldn't leave a car anywhere near the front desk even for 5 minutes to check-in. That was a terrible first impression of the hotel. The rest of the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but the valet staff really upset my wife. The rooms are being refreshed/upgraded and we got one of the finished rooms. The room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. But the bathroom is really tight (when you open the shower door, it clears the front of the toilet by less than an inch). Our shower door was hung poorly, preventing it from closing completely, so we had water on the bathroom floor anytime someone took a shower. The hotel grounds are immaculate and there are plenty of activities like tennis and pickle ball to enjoy. The swimming area is gorgeous and really relaxing, but the only way to get to the pool is to walk through the restaurant right next to the front desk. That means a lot of unnecessary walking through the hotel and it was a little strange to walk past several tables of people trying to enjoy a meal while we were dressed for swimming. I wouldn't have enjoyed a meal at one of those tables. I have stayed at plenty of JW Marriott hotels over the years. The JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge is one of my least favorites.

It is a compliment to call this property a "middle-of-the-road JW resort". The grounds are very nice, pools and rooms are all good. They have a superstar chef there who runs two great restaurants. This appears to be a strong conference resort, and during the holiday break, occupancy was very low. The resort appeared to take advantage of the downtime by performing maintenance on their fitness room and their water system. This caused them to hastily close down all bars and restaurants one evening. I feel "J Dubs" tend to push the add-on fees a little too far, and a $50 resort fee + $23 parking per day are about as high as I've paid at any resort.

Wonderful! Hotel is beautiful! The lazy river was great! Very well maintained. The grounds are amazing. You feel like you're at a gorgeous, tropical resort. Our room was lovely, and very clean. Every member of the hotel staff that we interacted with was extremely friendly and professional. And a delightful bonus is that there is fruit infused water by the entrance. We will most definitely be back the next time we vacation in Phoenix.

We took our family with three kids from NJ this past April. The service and resort were incredible. It was probably one of the nicest hotel gyms that I have ever experienced. The only downside was lack of an adult pool area. If you do not want to be around kids or young families, it might be wise to stay somewhere else. Unfortunately we had one lady make a comment to keep quiet by the pool. As a family, we did our best but that can be a little difficult with three girls under the age of 11. Other than that five stars and we definitely hope to go back.

Beautiful, kid-friendly resort that we accessed from the adjoining “Marriott Canyon Villas” timeshare section. Both properties maintain meticulous bathing areas with multiple pools spread out across the property. This includes a lazy river section and 3 water slides for children/adults about 8 years of age and older. Although a bit pricey, they offer poolside food and beverage service. My only word of caution, which should be common sense given the climate, is to always wear shoes/sandals on the concrete/stones surrounding the pool as it becomes insanely hot and burns the soles of your feet! We went in July when the sun and heat was strongest and it was unbearable to walk on barefoot, even wet.

This resort is beautiful! Myself and my kids attended the Arizona IDEA Conference and stayed here to accommodate my children's disabilities. The rooms are a bit confusing to navigate to since some rooms are accessible through one elevator on the same floor and others have to be accessed on a different elevator/side of the hotel. The rooms are large and have a chaise couch, table with a chair, refrigerator, smart TV, tub separate from the shower, ironing board, blow dryer, robes, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, Q Tips, cotton swabs, tissue, and lotion. The property has a small gift shop that has essentials and other things, there is a video game room, Fed Ex store, Desert Botanical Garden and plenty more! I loved how friendly and kind the staff was. I hope to stay here again soon!

I stated this resort recently for a conference. The room was very large and spacious, It was a king bed room with a small balcony. There was lots of storage between the drawers and the large closet. The king room had a large sectional couch and some smaller tables. Great for working. Very large bathroom With large tub large vanity and a stand up shower. The bed and the linens were quite comfortable. They were very light which was nice during the evening and when you were sleeping. The Pillows are downfilled and very soft. I wasn't a big fan of that because I felt like I needed six pillows which I had. The property is a resort conference center so it had a lot of amenities. This is great property for a family trip or work conference.

You can never go wrong at a JW Marriott hotel and the desert ridge location is no exception. Beautiful lobby, smooth check-in process and nicely appointed rooms. We enjoyed our super comfortable bed and the nice robes that were available. The beautiful grounds were the most impressive to us. Lots of pool options and another one under construction. Connected waterways everywhere, tall palm trees and beautiful views. Outdoor fire pits, tons of games for the kids. We absolutely loved the facility. All of this at a facility that is celebrating its 20th anniversary and not showing its age

Really nice resort. We actually stayed at the adjacent resort, Canyon Villas but had access to amenities at JW. Restaurants were awesome. Great feel to the overall resort. Employees very nice. The only thing I didn't care for were the grounds surrounding the lazy river where the lawn chairs were actually on the lawn. I think this could have been designed better. I've been at other lazy rivers at Marriott resorts that were done much better. Other than that I thought it was really nice. I like to actually check out the rooms. We would definitely stay here.

Ordering over the phone was a breeze - it wasn't rushed to decide what we wanted, and there was a surprisingly short wait time for a busy holiday weekend...very impressive. Sherry was polite, pleasant to talk to, and attentive to detail. And the meals were perfect and were prepared with care. What made the meal so special was the little extras she did, a small surprise dessert goodies she prepared nestled in a stylish dish to stay chill for when we are ready to pair it with chocolate-covered strawberries (by the way...really yummy!). She took the call, prepared the dessert, and delivered it to our room. She exceeded our expectations and did something special for my son's birthday. As far as I was concerned, there was no part of my In-Room dining experience that wasn't five-star fantastic. Sherry is incredible!

This resort was hands down one of the nicest resorts we've stayed at. The grounds are impeccable, the pool area is amazing. I love that they have 3 separate areas, the griffin area is amazing! Lazy river is great for kids or a little change of scenery. The staff was outstanding. The resort is very Family friendly and customer service was on point which at this day and age is hard to come by unfortunately. We specifically had an unpleasant experience with someone from Tia Carmen at breakfast one morning so we brought it to the managers attention. Not only did they make things right with us, they were appreciative of the feedback and Chef Penny and Manager Chintae had a little something sent up to our room congratulating us on the arrival of our upcoming baby. This my friends is what hospitality is all about and has restored a little bit of faith in humanity for me. What these 2 did to make our experience a good one is what more people need to do more of when customer service is not on par. They quickly turned around our vibes towards this resort and reminded us why we love it here and will definitely be making this a place we return to. We can't wait to bring our girls back with us.

Came here for a beautiful wedding. These individuals did a great job and wonderful customer service we also celebrated my birthday and they gave us a wonderful dessert. They do an excellent job. Just coming here relaxing. Some tips you totally do not need to pay for the Cabanas or the extra charge seating there's plenty of seating around the pool. The lazy river is great for both kids and adults

What an awesome resort. The food was outstanding! The grounds were beautiful. The pool area was large and not overly crowded. The service staff were friendly, no matter where on the resort you were. The self parking was easy if you had your own vehicle. It was easy to get to from the airport. Location had plenty to do around it as well. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area!

This resort is absolutely beautiful, clean and all employees are friendly. Franklin at Tia Carmen was also awesome! I wish we could give 4.5 because it was a wonderful experience. Not even 15 minutes after checking in there was the crib for the baby delivered and set up. My only issues were that there was food left in the refrigerator from the previous guest and the shower. Although the shower is very pretty, the floor tile was very slippery. We chose a very busy weekend so we didn't get the fully experience everything the resort has to offer. Overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely return.

Beautiful grounds, amazing customer service! The server named John was amazing during my stay—just personable & kind. My only issue was that I couldn’t bring my toddler’s snacks with us to the pool area. Other than that, we had a blast! Will be back!

My company hosted our annual team summit in sunny Phoenix, AZ. We had a busy two days filled with team meetings, continuing education, fun times and great food. The JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa exceeded all expectations! We had an amazing breakfast and dinner at Tia Carmen. The exterior hangout spaces were relaxing. We rented poolside cabanas for some more privacy during the day, which was super fun. The pickleball courts were well maintained. The outdoor private venue at Meritage was beautiful at night. The meeting spaces were perfect. The catered food we had during our business meetings was delicious. We had last minute changes and their staff was very proactive and attentive to make the event proceed flawlessly. This hotel is at the top of my list for future events.

I recently stayed at Desert Ridge and was blown away by the facilities and service. There was an issue with my original room. There was a smell coming from the bathroom. Engineering came down and said it most likely was due to a bad o-ring. They originally said that they would replace the entire toilet and I was ok with that as I was there on business and would be gone most of the day. While at breakfast, Taylor called me to say that they would be moving me to another room. I came to the desk and was handed a new key and given directions to where the room was and they apologized for my inconvenience. I went to the new room only to realize they had upgraded me to the presidential suite. The room was incredibly beautiful. Living room, kitchen, dining room, office, double sided fireplace and a bathroom that was more like a spa. They could have simply fixed the toilet and I would have been fine, but Taylor and the rest of the staff went above and beyond. I highly recommend a stay here.

Beautifully renovated!!! Super luxurious, the activities center was still getting their act together, but they have so many fun activities for all ages. The spa was amazing, the locker room attendants are a little weird and creepy. But everything else about my spa experience was excellent including the massage, steam, sauna, and adult pool. Only complaint....I'm a resorter...wr go alot.. so when I checked in and the concierge didn't draw enthusiastically draw things out on the map or offer to make us reservations at the restaurants I was a little lost. Also their was no one to take our bags to the room upon arrival. The water slides are so fun we went with kids and they all had a great time.

Excellent destination with a wide variety of conference space, dining options, great pool side snacks and cocktails, on and on. You won’t be disappointed. Be sure to grab a cocktail and park yourself next to one on the comfy fire pits. 🥃

Rooms are uncomfortably warm. They can’t maintain a temperature under 75-76 in the rooms, even at night. I probably shouldn’t expect a cool room in Phoenix, but a JW Marriott would presumably have engineered their cooling to accommodate the hot summers, but they haven’t. The desk will give you a fan, but that is the best they can do. Prepare to sweat the night away.

Son booked a stay cay/birthday weekend for his wife and our family. He asked for 2 adjoining rooms, but he was told the room next to their room had not been cleaned. We were given another room 4 doors down instead. Other than that, the private cabana my son rented made up for the inconvenience, especially since it was 116° outside. It was pricey, but the luxury of having A/C, misted patio, a private bathroom, TV's, comfortable furniture, and lounge chairs right outside our door, next to the pool was gratifying. In addition, we had our own service staff, "Kenzie", who was the best! This site does not permit, food or snacks that has not been purchased on site; so we could not bring a birthday cake. Also, entry to pool area and facilities is screened prior to entry, not something we have experienced at other Marriott Resorts. Overall, Desert Ridge Resort and Spa is beautiful with lots of activities and great service staff.

Beautifully set with the magnificent mountain backdrop of Scottsdale, the property features a pretty recent take on a desert resort/Oasis with a beautiful golf course, excellent pools/outdoor entertainment and a gigantic business center. The rooms are large and modern with beautiful views. The fitness center is quite large and featuring diverse equipment. The property has various restaurants which are serving quality Mexican oriented food. Great place overall

Spent 3 nights for a recent conference and loved it. Rooms were nice. Family friendly resort with lazy river, couple of water slides and splash pad. Beautiful grounds and some areas to sit and relax. You get some freebies like 2 hour bike rental, pickle ball, driving range but we didn't have time to do. Big shopping center with other restaurants less than 1 mile away. Nice running path in the area too. Would go back again and bring the family next time!

Hats off to this property, in every fathomable regard. From check in, the woman that assisted me was genuinely sweet and went the extra mile to accommodate my high floor request. The rooms are impeccably clean and contained The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had the privilege of sleeping in. Rooms are well appointed with delicious Illy, coffee, and even Biscoff! The bathroom has both a deep soap, tub, as well as a shower. They stock the shower with full sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner; something I’ve only ever encountered once before at the Phoenician. If you’re looking for an incredible getaway, look no further than this perfect property!

There are professionals who make hospitality more than hospitable: who have a talent for creating an occasion within a vacation. This ability arises from a genial kindness and generosity of spirit that they bring to their work. Julie (Concierge) and Raymond (Front Door Ambassador extraordinaire) at the Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge have these special instincts and ability to transform a vacation into a transcendent occasion. And I will evermore be grateful for Raymond and Julie—-and grateful to them for how they made my wife feel on her birthday during our stay.

My daughter celebrated her 30th Birthday at the JW Marriott. The weekend went off without a hitch. We'd like to give a special mention to the Front office manager Austin for going above and beyond, to make sure her stay was special. Our bartender Sean was a superstar! He was directly involved with interacting with our entire party, his professionalism and ability to cater to the parties specific needs were both top notch and much appreciated. The Bell Captain Casey made sure the girls arrival was seamless and his professionalism came through. We also had excellent interactions with Aaron, Max, Justin, Sammy and Tiasi. The pool was a blast and the slides were a hoot.

Beautiful, HUGE resort!! SO many activities &on-site amenities that you can't possibly ever be bored! Lazy river was a little crowded but there were multiple pools so there's plenty of spots to enjoy the water. Free pitches of water poolside were much appreciated &I'm sure my kids would of loved the water slides had they been with us! Great resort for a family vacation or a romantic getaway!!

Great stay except for the pool area. They now have VIP reserved chairs around the pool. Seems like they are all set aside. We ended up having to be by the kiddie pool while lots of the VIP chairs were empty.

Stayed here with the wife for six nights on Vacation in October. First time here. This hotel is located in North Phoenix, about a half hour drive from Sky Harbor airport. We were very early for check-in and our room was not ready, but we were able to change at the spa and sat by the spa pool until our room was ready. We paid extra to get a Griffin Club room and found this upgrade to be well worth it. I can't say enough great things about the staff at the Griffin Club. They are wonderful. The food at the Griffin Club was good, especially the breakfasts and the evening hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Our room was nice, but nothing special. The hotel is very large and has multiple swimming pools, a lazy river, and a big water slide. We never had any difficulty finding lounge chairs, and we did not feel the need to pay extra for a reserved lounge chair spot. The Griffin Club got us access to the spa facilities, and we took advantage by sitting at the much quieter, adults only spa pool on two afternoons. The wife got two spa treatments - she really liked the massage. I liked the steam room at the spa. The gym is clean and modern with lots of equipment, including Peloton bikes. My wife played pickleball and had a good time. The courts are beautiful. The Tia Carmen restaurant was excellent - highly recommend the flan. Overall, this is a great hotel and we enjoyed our stay. We have stayed at the Phoenician a few times and while we liked the JW, I would say the Phoenician is a bit more luxurious than the JW. And I prefer the Phoenician's proximity to Old Town Scottsdale. On the other hand, the JW has a club lounge (Griffin Club), which is a big plus.

The JW Marriott is a great place for a vacation. It has several pools to choose from, great restaurants and beautiful lobbies and rooms. But the staff puts everything over the top. They are professional, friendly and most importantly they genuinely seem to enjoy their job. I never felt like I was putting them out. They made the trip a pleasure.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! It is very large with beautiful rooms, pools, grounds, and conference rooms. The hotel is built on its own little Oasis with a small lake beside the hotel and views of the mountains from the pool. The hotel even has a beautiful garden with many native plants that you could find in the Arizona desert. The pools are large and stunning. State of the art exercise facility. Caring, smart and friendly staff! Finally this hotel is perfect for a business conference, honeymoon or even family getaway!

Went for small anniversary celebration. 100% not worth booking with them. We got a room, not a resort. SO disappointing. I highly do not recommend going as a couple. If you want a family vacation- I still would recommend other resorts in the area. This isnt the one to go to. Service was not up to par, you can blame covid for reasons but if you want people to still travel and pay $400/night it still better be great service and amenities. Neither were provided. I put towels in tub to request new ones- they rehung them up. No room service. Staff couldn't help us find any amenities walked around for literally 3 hours then things were closed. Very poor signage- went on website for map and no map given. The food was not good, we ended up leaving and went to Ruth's Chris. Pool and bar closed super early, not for adults. Shop workers were rude and snooty. We had such an Awful experience -recommend book elsewhere. We notified hotel of poor experience and promised to make it right but then ghosted. Plenty of other resorts in the area to try, take it from me and go with another. Good luck!

So very blessed and thankful for a birthday spa weekend at the JWMP! Every detail of the JW was amazing! The kind, friendly, ever so welcoming staff, the spa massage, pools, restaurants, lazy river, and beautiful atmosphere, could not have been any better! Thank you for an unforgettable weekend!

JW Marriott hotel is getting a make over . Here are some pictures of before and will add the after pictures when done . But the view of the outside is breathtaking. So beautiful and gorgeous I don't know where else you can get a picture like that . Staff here are nice and the food is delicious from the wonderful people that make it . If I had the time for vacation and the money...and let me correct this part ..if I won the lottery at 3.5 million dollars or had a few thousand dollars, this is a spot where I would go for a week and relax . It's a great place . And I'm doing something to even make it a better place for you to enjoy and relax while you're on vacation

Spent the day at the spa - wonderful experience! When not getting spa treatments, we were in the spa pool enjoying poolside food and drinks. Spent the night at the hotel. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Ate dinner at Roy's on site, and breakfast on site too. Everything was delicious, fun, and relaxing. Customer service from every department was great! We will visit again someday for sure!

Really pretty resort with fun amenities. The lazy river is awesome, but better enjoyed earlier in the day, or evening. Otherwise it's really packed and hard to maneuver around. The only thing that could have made it better were bigger beds. We needed two beds with our kids, and the only options are doubles. Two adults sharing doubles is not comfortable and we had a difficult time sleeping. There's plenty of room in the rooms for 2 Queens, not sure why that's not utilized. Any long term stay I think we'll skip this resort.

Marriott - please stop lowering the bar of exceptions for customer services and blaming covid. You have the money to higher great talented people to manage customer expectations to the Pre-Covid Marriott days. I cant even call and get a concierge person to talk with me.... PLEASE Marriott...clean the rooms daily (they are getting gross), get concierge up and going to full staff levels - we know you have the money... you're publicly traded! And you received so much gov help during COVID - not all of us small business did... we expect more from you!

Great resort. All of the employees from the front desk to pool attendants were very nice and helpful. We ended up having to check out early one evening due to a child being sick around 8pm they did not charge us and it was a 400$ room for the night. The pool area is quite nice and fun. Definitely recommend.

Initial impressions was alot of staff, valet parking, and open space. My room had been canceled due to miscommunication from my company about which day I was to arrive for a conference. This was promptly resolved although initially I was told the hotel was fully booked. At the end of my conference, I had spent the remainder of each day in the lazy river until the sun went down. Although the lobby room bar wasn't cheap, the drinks were strong and were almost worth the price they charged. Poolside bar closes at 5pm not 10pm like other staff had told me.(bring a cooler or backpack with snacks/ drinks). Breakfast was unfortunately not included, and cost $30 or more (I did not indulge as I was told it wasn't worth it). Shower and bathtub in the king bedroom and each room has a balcony or porch included. 1st floor was nice and private but I did not have any views of the west coast sunset I've heard so much about(I'm from NY). Overall was impressed with the amenities that included a Starbucks, arcade, conference center, golf course, spa, multiple pools, countless staff, multiple restaurants, and even a small clothing store similar to a airport souvenir store. Find a deal and this place is worth the visit. You would think at $800/night they would offer a free breakfast. 5 stars for everything except price and a Poolside bar that closes at too early.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and I want to say it was amazing. Matthew Miller took every good care of us! He helped set up room service, upgraded our room, left dessert in our room when we were out, and even got us a cabana at the pool. The guy blew us away with how we were treated. My wife and I were very pleased with the service, cleanliness, and how friendly the staff of the hotel was. I gave them 5 stars for my stay because they helped keep my wife happy and one of the first rules of being a husband is happy wife happy life. Thanks JWM, for making our honeymoon special, by having some amazing staff that go above and beyond. Thank you, Michael & Alyssa

We had a great experience at your resort. Let me start off with the room. Amazing! Went down to the lazy river. Joey was great had a couple of questions about the cabanas and private rooms. He answered everything I asked. Ended up getting a cabana from Joey amazing! He did tell us they were not fully finished. He came and checked on us plenty of times even brought my kids some treats. Justin was our waiter amazing service also. But again I’ll definitely be going back just because of Joey helping us out and great customer service. One bad thing I can say is when we booked our room over the phone. They call center or what ever it was. She said the water slides were working. And they weren’t even finished built yet. If I can do 4.5 stars I would because of the call center

Lovely, clean resort. All rooms have balconies and very nice beds, showers and toiletries. Seems to cater to large groups and so we felt a little lost in the mix as a couple traveling. Food choices were limited and one restaurant is not even open for dinner sun-thurs (Meritage). We did go off property where a local restaurant gave us a slight discount as a Marriott guest. We did not know that was possible. 3 nights of our stay there were very loud noisy crowds in the atrium as well as patio until 3am. Hotel security should not have allowed this. All in all it was a positive experience but a little too large for my taste. The convention people looked like they had a great time though.

Very bad customer service! Our company party was here and we ordered room service afterwards. We received the wrong order and called back to either get the right order OR just refund us. We put the tray outside, untouched and uneaten because the brought us the wrong order. The kitchen closed so we talked to a manager named JILL who said she would call back. We waited an hour and got no call so finally we called over and over till we reached her. She was so rude and had such an attitude. She kept arguing over and over with us saying that kitchen manager called and talked to us and said we confirmed the order. I told her that’s not possible. They must be talking to the wrong room. She went on and on arguing with us that there was nothing that could be done and we will have to take it up with the kitchen manager tomorrow. JILL was a very rude and unhelpful manager. The hotel is really nice, but if that’s how bad the managers are, I definitely don’t want to come back here. All she had to do was refund us for the WRONG ORDER that they sent us. That was it. Just apologize for the wrong order and let us know how they can fix it tonight or tomorrow. But no, she kept fighting with us saying that we got the right order. It made literally no sense. I’m beside myself. It felt like talking to a dumb college kid with an attitude.

Had a great vacation here at the resort. Great service, great rooms, and in a great location to the city. Only thing I would recommend to the hotel is to get the music/speakers working properly and efficiently around all the pools, and trim some of the bushes around the lazy river. Also, for those looking to come here in the future, the hotel will be doing some construction for brand new amenities.

This is a very nice Marriott property. The star rating is not based on the fact that this is not a nice property. It is based on the fact that the value received is not commensurate to the cost. I spent $750 for one Saturday night. The room was a standard Marriott room. No special tub at this resort, just a standard small tub next to a plain Jane standalone sink in the bathroom and the same shower I just spent $79 on at the Tuscany in Vegas. The electronic door didn't close on its own, and I was charged an additional $23 to park my car on a lot a quarter mile away from the entrance, and this is not a high population area of Phoenix that is landlocked. I expected a great deal more for $750 a night.

Merna made our company Christmas party INCREDIBLE. She was so sweet and so informative. I haven’t had such amazing customer service in years. She was a doll with a beautiful smile. I can’t recommend this place enough for vegan options and ambiance!! Thank you MERNA 💜💜

They earned their five star rating. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean. The grounds were attractive. The food was tasty. A great experience all around. Was there for a conference so I didn't get to experience everything. But everything thing I did and all the staff I met was first rate.

FAR EXCEEDED my expectations! I knew that I would receive best-in-class service, amazing meals and be surrounded by a perfectly landscaped property. But what I didn't anticipate was the amount of passionate people who are committed to supporting their guest's relaxation and healing! An extra big thank you to Terry (recreations guru), Lauren (sound bath practitioner and yoga instructor) and Farmer Liza (horticulturist and hummingbird whisperer). I am loving JW Marriot's focus on brining spirituality into a resort setting. Such trailblazers and it is much needed! I highly recommend this resort and I can't wait to come back for all my vacations and work trips. Thanks everyone!

Beautiful hotel, great service from all of the staff. The old and lazy river were great for just relaxing and enjoying the water and sun or fur bringing the whole family. Room was spacious and clean with both a large bath tub for relaxing or a separate shower. I'd say my only complaint would be lack of lighting in the bathroom for makeup. Everything else is perfect!
