Wow,
on
the
positive
side,
this
place
hosts
truly
some
of
the
very
BEST
variety
of
music
and
musicians
and
bands
in
the
entire
Phoenix
area
(and
I've
been
to
many)
but
on
the
negative
side,
the
volume
of
the
music
will
split
an
eardrum
and
forget
being
able
to
communicate
with
your
friends
over
the
blasts.
On
the
positive
side,
they
do
a
great
job
of
posting
and
updating
their
official
website
so
you
can
PLAN
your
entertainment.
If
you
want
to
hear
great
music
with
a
nice
atmosphere
and
dance
floor,
this
is
the
place.
However,
on
the
negative
side,
and
the
only
reason
for
a
score
of
3
instead
of
5:
the
volume
of
the
music
the
night
we
were
there
August
13
was
too
loud
to
even
be
able
to
speak
to
your
friends
unless
you
leaned
over
and
yelled
directly
into
their
ear
from
one
inch
away.
Such
a
shame.
We
paid
for
tickets
online,
arrived
early,
and
left
just
20
minutes
after
the
music
started
out
of
fear
of
a
busted
eardrum.
Never
mind
trying
to
meet
new
people
and
have
any
sort
of
conversation...
impossible.
Imagine
this:
"Hey,
would
you
like
to
dance?"
and
the
person
answers
you
back,
"What
did
you
say,
you
like
my
pants?"
NOT!
The
large
band
could
have
easily
played
an
auditorium,
but
unfortunately
we
were
in
a
small
bar.
The
group
of
people
we
dance
with
like
to
be
able
to
chit-chat
a
little,
at
least
to
be
able
to
hear
someone
when
they
ask,
"Want
to
share
some
nachos?"
so
we
will
probably
not
be
going
back
to
Cactus
Jacks
ONLY
for
that
reason.
Everything
else
about
the
place
was
awesome:
EXCELLENT
waitress
and
bartender
service,
gorgeous
dance
club
atmosphere
with
a
variety
of
table
sizes
and
height,
tablecloths,
digital
light-dimming
candles
on
the
tables,
3
big
screen
TVs
to
show
the
performers
closeup,
limited
dance
floor,
friendly
employees,
in-house
security,
friendly
front-door
greeters
like
Mary,
many
typical
bar-type
food
options
on
the
menu,
and
fair
prices
for
the
performance
tickets.
