If I could give a negative star rating I would. I placed an order for pick up at George and Sons today. I have been coming here since they opened and usually highly recommend the place for it’s great service and food. I will no longer be doing that. I arrived to pick up my food and provided the rep with my card, she tells me the transaction did not go through. She then swipes my card 4 more times and still says the same. Without seconds I get my text notification that the transaction was successful along with my updated balance, but here’s the twist, each time the rep swiped my card was successful. So a 24 dollar order with a tip I gave them totaling 30 dollars was taken from my bank account 5 times. I tried to resolve the issue with the rep and asked for my food and my money to be returned from the additional 4 transactions. She refused. She said they go by what the receipt prints. I asked if they track there inventory/transactions electronically like everywhere else in the modern world and she said no we go by what the receipt prints. I called my bank to see if the transaction had gone through successfully and they confirmed that it did. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager proceeds to tell me that I didn’t have money. How rude and embarrassing! I went as far as to pull up my account and show my balance and transactions before, during and after this incident. She still insists that I didn’t have money. I told her I have never had this kind of problem here and she still insists I don’t have funny. I went next door to subway just to order an item and see if they experienced any issues. I had none and got a great sub by the way. So now I have to work with my bank to recoup the money from this establishment who embarrassed me by insinuating I did not have the means to pay for the food I ordered and traveled to just to pick it up, refused to return my money or even give me my food I paid for five times. Stay away from this establishment.

This Chinese restaurant is okay. Do a very few people in this restaurant concerning are the restaurants around it have people coming in and out of it the restaurants. The food was very Bland not like most Chinese restaurants I've been to. The lunch special is reasonable and price.

I was always a big fan of this place for dinner however I realize that the two times I have gone there for takeout their dinner portion that they give is not even comparable to what the dinner would be if you were to dine in. Also they give you a very tiny little box of rice and if you ask for another tiny little box they charge you and additional $2.00 so basically my small dinner of orange chicken came out to 16.99. Not a good value at all. I will not be doing any more take out.

Yesterday my children took me out for my birthday at George and Son Asian cuisine and this little gem place did not disappoint! Love everything that we ordered ... food and drinks for 5 of us around $120. Was excellent. Highly recommended for everyone who wanted a good quality food. The left over we were able to take it home and the next day was still delicious. Thank you for everyone that works hard behind the scenes and all the servers up front!! A birthday to remember!!

$15 for sesame chicken. This is sliced chicken breast that comes plain. Sauce on the side. The sauce is like water it doesn't flavor the meat...and white rice....for $15 and a place with cuisine in the name....I could've went to panda express and done better. Honestly. I've been excited to go here and a huge disappointment. Not to mention most of the meat in the small box was older and not fresh based on the hardness and discoloration to the inside meat.

Went here for lunch. Very clean and slightly upscale, Asian restaurant. Great lunch specials. They had no cauliflower rice, that I could find on the menu. 😕I should have asked, but ordered chicken lettuce wraps instead. Enjoyed them. There are Keto choices if looking for those, minus the cauliflower rice. I feel there could be a parking issue during the evenings, since it is located beside the AMC Deer Valley theater. However, gonna try anyway. Will update once I’ve done it.

First time eating at this place with my team and one of my team member found a BROKEN UP SPONGE in his curry dish. ?? The worst part about it was 5 or more people had the same curry dish at my table and no telling what all contamination came from this sponge. The waiter took of the curry but he should have done better then that! This was completely disgusted. Will not ever go back. This happen Feb 7, 2020. I have never ever had this experience before.

Food is stellar. Try the fried Calamari, it's my favorite starter dish.. so favorable [no pic, ate fast] the hang up was the waitresses... they literally stood and watched as we ate. It was awkward and felt rushed and they were still 2 hours away from closing. They kept trying to take my plates when there was still food on them and asked them multiple times not to. Felt more like I was eating at a buffet the way they were hovering by the table to clear it and not like "fine cuisine" lol.

Both of us had the lunch specials and they were great . Orders were taken promptly and the food arrived in record time . Server was very friendly and their whole operation is very efficient . Inside the atmosphere is clean , quiet and relaxed. Couldn't ask for more.

Amazing food! I got the General Yang's Shrimp tonight for the second time, it's on a bed of sauce and sweet peas. The taste is AMAZING!! Like nothing you've ever tasted before. Friendly, kind greeting upon entering and kind throughout the transaction. I ordered and paid online. Super convenient. Efficient ordering. 5***** every time I go there and order from there. Thank you!!!!!

My family and I went to George and sons for dinner. The food was delicious had no complaints about anything. Servers are very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Very easy to fine right next door to AMC17. My family and I go here for dinner at least once a Month it better then Panda Express by a mile!

Though there are Chinese restaurants closer to where I live, George & Son's is the one I am willing to drive a bit out of the way for. The service is always prompt and friendly. The decor is inviting and lends itself to either casual or formal dining experiences. The star of the show is the food. Consistently fresh, hot and flavorful, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Full disclosure I haven't tried everything on the menu because I found the Dragon & Phoenix and stopped there. Chicken and shrimp, vegetables and a tasty sauce that is layered with flavor but doesn't overpower. The quality of food for the price is what brings us back time after time. If you haven't been, you absolutely must go!!

Nice staff but the food is really bad. We got takeaway yesterday and the vegetarian Thai curry was super sour and the donburi very dry.

Every time we've eaten here we have been incredibly satisfied. The food is fresh and authentic. They have the best hot and sour soup! Recently, during the stay at home order, we ordered take out for our family. When I picked it up, they had everything in a box, even the soup, so it was easy to carry out to the car. I appreciated the extra steps they took to box up the food and make it easier for me. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant!

I went in at about 5pm. When I walked in, I was promptly seated. My drink order was taken as I sat down. After ordering the food, I was surprised at how fast my dinner was brought out. I opted for the white rice and teriyaki chicken. The portion was very generous, and I ended up bringing home, Enough food for a second person to eat. The atmosphere is a calm and quiet. The only noise is table conversations. I will be returning again.

Fast and friendly dine-in experience. We ordered pot stickers and pepper beef. Everything was just amazing. They pot stickers might be the best I've ever had. The peppered beef was so tender, not a single bad piece. The little spring roll and crab puff in the lunch special was a nice touch. Great ambulance. Highly recommended.

We have been there twice and both times were amazing. Service is fast and food is amazing! You may want to share a plate though as they have big portions. This will be a regular spot for us.

Love it here!! When I was looking for The Top Best Chinese Restaurants George and Son's Asian came up on two Different ones. Read the reviews of course I to see for myself. Came for lunch 1st time Great Friendly service, fast, I mean fast! I got my Drink and soup within A minute of sitting down and my food shortly after, The food hands down the best I have ever had. 2nd time Same if not better then the first time.. finally the true test bring The family... passed!! Now we drive 30 mins just to eat here!!

Found George and Son Asian Cuisine by luck searching Chinese restaurants near me. This restaurant is absolutely amazing and I am so glad we stumbled upon the listing as we have been trying to find a suitable replacement for the Asian Cuisine restaurant that we no longer enjoy. We have found our new favorite Asian Cuisine Restaurant as we we happy that it is within 15 minutes from our house and a beautiful, clean restaurant. The service is beyond exemplary and our food came out very quickly and right off the Wok. We ordered Crab Wontons and couldn't believe how yummy, fresh, packed with filling and hot in temperature they were. We ordered Orange Chicken which was crispy and flavorful as well as beef and vegetables which came out as Beef and Broccoli. My mistake because I didn't specify Mixed Vegetables, however our server said no problem I will make it right and came out only minutes later as a very hot Beef and Mixed Vegetables dish. The beef was sliced tender chunks and the brown sauce was flavorful. Absolutely amazing as George and Son has excellent customer service and food. We were both extremely impressed by everything and he didn't have to ask once for a drink refill as they were on top of the refills as well. We have found our new favorite Asian Cuisine Restaurant. Thank you George and Son for a fabulous meal and experience!

Our absolute favorite when it comes to Chinese cuisine. I personally love their lunch menu options, they are curated to perfection. My absolute favorite is General Yangs Chicken and then Kung Pao Chicken. They come with side of rice, chow mein, crab puff, and veg spring roll. Don’t forget the lunch menu is served with Egg drop soup. They are reasonably priced. Portions are perfect.

Great restaurant. Food is fresh. Service was great. Had some crab puffs for starters. Probably the best I've had. The main dishes we ordered, we peppered beef and the tres amigos. Both recommended by the waiter. The were very similar as far as flavor goes, and although they were good, I would have preferred more of a contrast. Food came sizzling hot. Literally. Fresh and tender, and good. But, not necessarily "robust" with flavor. I will definitely come back and try another dish.

From the Hot and Sour Soup thin metal wire. Metal wire looks like came out of scrub that used to wash pots and pans. It's very scary. Good thing, we found that; otherwise, could have caused internal injuries.

If you want a great lunch deal with a super filling plate of food come here! The general yangs shrimp lunch special is amazing!! My wife and I paid less than 30$ for both of us. Comes with egg drop soup,crab puff,egg roll,white rice, lo mein, and the best shrimp I have tasted. The picture is after I ate all the other stuff. But you get the idea! Thought about the picture late.

I honestly don’t know why there are some, in a nice way, not so positive reviews for here, but I love this place. This is my first time with carry out and it’s so good. I got the orange chicken and rice, just something simple, probably going to try the Thai curry later, but it was great. Obviously it’s not as crisp as in the restaurant but it’s still good and tasty. And the containers are so cute for it. We ordered the pad thai as well but that was gone before I got to take a pic. Don’t worry the four legged child had some too. I would definitely recommend though, even for takeout.

First time actually eating inside the restaurant and I have to say it was amazing to eat in there. They have a bar inside, televisions, nice lighting,and music playing overhead.

Maybe my choice was bad.. I dont know, fried chicken had too much flour around it and we didn't like taste of pork fried rice. Egg soup was good but salty that my friend put water in it to finish

For some reason, the duo of Yelp and Google Maps tag teamed us to the opposite side of the freeway, into a school parking lot, maybe? I may have gone into this experience with too high of hopes, because looking back on the experience, it was just ok. Not disappointing, but not stunning. The Miona's Special Chicken for $14.99 was vibrant, I'll give it that... but I was told there was going to be some spice. It was good, sweet and crisp, but no spice. The $14.99 egg foo young with pork was fluffy and satisfying. I enjoyed the pork potstickers. I'd come back again.

I've been coming for the past 4 years. The food was great this last time, but we felt very rushed, like if we weren't wanted there. We weren't even finished eating, and the waitress kept coming around picking up plates. She literally opened the lid to the bowl of rice to see if it was empty and took it away. She just came out with the check and didn't even ask if we wanted dessert or to go boxes or anything. It felt like they were about to throw us out. It was strange because it was 5:30 pm on a Friday, they weren't full, and it was nowhere near closing time. The other tables were not treated the same way. Very disappointing experience.

I come to this place because it is in my neighborhood. The lady at the front reminds me of the soup guy from Seinfeld. I ordered my food online and before I left home I called to see if my order was ready because I had on a boot and was trying to minimize my walking. The soup lady told me she had too many orders to check so just come and pick it up, when I get there and tell her my name she went straight to my order and it was not busy! When I left I called to try to provide feedback but was told the manager was with a customer. My fried rice was kinda burnt and my onions in my shrimp with black bean sauce were burnt which caused the burnt taste. The service is terrible and I bet it’s not as bad in Scottsdale. I will be finding a new Chinese place.

My favorites are their orange chicken or Phoenix rising (ask for no spicy). As for their cocktails, I’d recommend the scorpion! 😉

Mongolian beef and general chicken are delicious! My favorite is the salt and pepper squid! This squid is really good to enjoy with beer and it's really amazing. I always go for beef with black truffle and fried rice with black truffle when I come here, but I was satisfied with everything else I tried today.

Food will definitely blow your expectations away! Always wanted an elevated asian restaurant that wasn't corporate and boy does this place deliver. Plenty of recognizable dishes on the menu, but I was not expecting such a fresh, chef inspired feel to them. Highly recommend the vegetable/seafood pocket and easily the best egg foo young I've ever had. Will definitely be back, sooner than later!

This is hands-down my favorite restaurant! Every time I go, I have wonderful and timely service and the food is always amazing!! (The orange beef is our personal favorite). We've had a difficult time finding good Asian food in the area but happened to come across George & Son's after an acquaintance raved about how good it was. We went there and got the lunch combinations of the Spicy Eggplant and the Spicy Vegetables, they were divine. Like honestly the best Asian food i've had a very long time. <3

30 mins late for a carry out order. 11 people waiting inside during a pandemic and the cashier was on the phone still taking orders. Plus, one of the cooks in the back had a cough.
