This might be hands down the best breakfast I have ever had?? We're visiting Scottsdale on vacation and as a Midwesterner, I must say I'm blown away. Shredded hash browns are perfect. Eggs were spot on. The RYE TOAST was to die for. Clean plate club for sure. The staff is also so so friendly, a cute mom and pop style place. I'm not even out of the restaurant yet and I had to leave this review. We will be back !!! Update: we came back the next day and sat outside on their cute little patio. I did the special chicken fried steak with churizo gravy and he did the catfish. Both were awesome!

We dined in at Ranch House Grille for a Saturday brunch. We were able to be seated immediately, although it was really busy. The waitresses on shift werephenomenal and friendly, quickly taking drink orders and getting us menus. We had the Crazy Bills Burger, Catfish and Eggs, and the Three Pigs Omelette. All the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

Amazing food and fantastic service! My wife loves a good chicken fried steak breakfast and the last few have been ok but underwhelming. I searched on line for best chicken fried steak in Arizona and Ranch House Grille came up with good reviews. We live in Gilbert so it’s not close to us at all but we take weekend morning rides on our Can-Am so we were up for a little ride. I had seen on line that they have regular chicken fried steak but also a southern style version with pork chili verde on it. Now that did not sound good to me but I figured she would like the regular. Are server was just as friendly and knowledgeable as could be. The first thing he told us was he was going to bring us a sample of the pork chili verde. My wife does love spicy Mexican food so we were happy to try it. She gave me a taste and I could not believe how good it was. My wife ordered her chicken fried steak southern style and it was so amazingly good. The flavors are so good together and everything was cooked to perfection and just yummy. Our server brought us a sample of their home made salsa and we will take a freeze bag next time to bring some home. I can’t recommend them enough and we will be going back again soon.

Googled various breakfast places to eat in Phoenix and found this! I ate the chicken fried steak which is absolutely delicious and crispy! Server was fast and attentive and the place is clean and upkept. I will definitely go back here once in awhile and if you love here in Phoenix you should try it! Go hungry though because the portions are large!

Incredible food! Portions are humongous! Prices are super reasonable! Will be coming back for sure! I had the chicken and waffles, or which I thought the chicken was gonna be like tenders, but they were full on chicken breasts! Also added an over hard egg to it.

Of this place had 10 stars they would get it. Great menu at more than fair prices, generous food portions (and good too) plus the service was outstanding. Wish they were closer than 2,500 miles!

This place is amazing!! Wish we were staying in Phoenix to be able to come and try out all menu options. Our server was top notch, had great recommendations. Food portions are massive if you leave hungry it's your own fault. Def will be coming back anytime I'm in the area!

Very good chicken fried steak! Had a side of sausage links and the gravy was so good! The hash brows definitely can use more seasoning. Overall good experience.

When I hear "This is a place to work through the menu" with 5 minutes of receiving our food, I knew I needed to start working on the review. The Pork Chile Verde is AMAZING! We highly recommend it with their taco salad. The guacamole was incredible. The fish and chips was 5 pieces of delicious cod that was enough to share. The service that Maria provided was excellent. There's covered outdoor seating with misters for hot days. The parking is small, but well worth the walk! They're open for breakfast and lunch, so don't wait to drop in. We'll definitely be back for more!

When we don't feel like hitting up one of the many hip restaurants of Phoenix and would rather sit at a traditional breakfast spot, we head to Ranch House Grille. The simple atmosphere and menu make us feel right at home. This plate of biscuits comes with two large biscuits topped with brown gravy, two sausage patties, and two eggs any style with a side of potatoes.. Food is feeling. There is plenty. Green chile has great spice and flavor. Chicken fried steak is good. However i have had bigger steak other places. Gravy is warming to heart. Hashbrowns when ordered need ti be extra crispy.. great place to try.

The place itself is very cozy and comfortable, nice atmosphere and vibe, everyone that works there is lovely and super friendly, happy and you can tell they love their job. The portions are large and taste amazing, lots of flavor and decent prices. The tea is fresh brewed and delicious too. Another thing is that I was surprised is when you get toast, you actually get 2 full slices of bread cut in half, EVERYWHERE else gives you 1 slice, cut in half😧 it is absolutely absurd, especially when you pay full price. I highly recommend the Green Chile Pork smothered Chicken fried steak, super scrumptious.

I’m not sure what that weird review talking about small portions was, nor can I figure out what they could’ve possibly ordered to think that the portion was small. Every time I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating at this wonderful establishment, I’ve let food on my plate and walked out with a overfilled belly. I think the price you pay is worth the quality and quantity of food that you are presented. The service is always polite and prompt, and they even remember you if you go regularly enough, which I think is nice. So, don’t listen to that odd review, come try the place for yourself, imo you’ll leave full, satisfied, and wanting to come back for more. And order the Audrey’s crepes, they’re super delicious, my favorite is the banana.

Came in for BBQ, second Saturday of the month, and holy cow, the brisket was PHENOMENAL. I got a nice fatty portion, and the meat just melts in your mouth. The meat was perfectly seasoned, no need for sauce, but I still recommend the spicy sauce they offer. Sides were good too; I liked their potato salad because it was savory, not sweet. The ranch style pork belly beans were very good as well. Quick service, friendly staff, and, most importantly, great barbecue.

What a wonderful discovery. This is probably the best breakfast place in the Valley and my second favorite in the State. The southwest chicken fried steak is absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back.

So so good! Large portions, great service and delicious! Definitely go here for breakfast! Tina’s spicy tortilla was amazing and way too much for me to eat. The lighter breakfast was a very generous portion and my daughter loved the gluten free bread. Sometimes gluten free is hit or miss…but this was good.

Our friends recommended we go here for the chicken fried steak on April 5th, 23 at about 9:30am. I just wanted bacon, eggs over easy and coffee. The cook made my eggs just how I like the yolk, not broke and fully cooked. It was perfect. I'd go back here.

This amazing neighborhood gem is one of the best breakfast and lunch spots in the area. The chicken fried steak is the best thing on the wonderful menu. Trust me when I saw you will not find it better. The whole menu is a fantastic selection. I've had the huevos rancheros and the pancakes. 5 Star Service is the norm. Parking is scarce sp get there early or go around back. They have excellent lunch as well. I'm going back every chance I get. Love this restaurant. The hash browns are excellent as well.

I love this little place. It's one of those places that's one-of-a-kind and nothing resembling a chain restaurants. I highly recommend the Southwest Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. Chicken fried steak smothered in their amazing green chili. SOOO good!! Everything I've had there has been great and the service is terrific. It gets busy around lunchtime, but it's worth any wait there is. Enjoy!!

Breakfast was amazingly good. I had the recommended Chicken Steak with Eggs (Delicious) the green sauce was so good, food was piping hot. French toast was delicious as well. You definitely get what you pay for. You could very easily split a breakfast. Stop by on the way to or from the airport.

Went there on a Wednesday around 1130am and it was still busy, but we got a table quickly. Food and service were amazing! I had the catfish sandwich and it was huge! Definitely would highly recommend this unique local restaurant.

Visited 10am on a Sunday morning. Quite busy but we were seated straight away and served within minutes. Food came fast, tasted great and are good sized portions. Love the Pork Chile Verde sauce! I recall reading a negative review complaining that the hash browns should be more crispy. I'll say that I totally loved them but if you prefer them crispy, do as the owner politely suggested and choose something else. Definitely coming here every time I visit Phoenix, next time I'm trying the fried Catfish and Eggs for breakfast!

First time trying this place. Great menu with lots of tempting offerings. I tried the steak and eggs. That was a big mistake. The steak was THE toughest piece of meat that I've ever had. Everything else was solid. I'll try this place again, but NOT the steak.

Love the southwest chicken wrap, however I love the chicken grilled instead of breaded and fried.

Delicious and huge plates of homestyle breakfast food. Came here twice on weekdays during vacationand had no trouble getting a table. Service is polite and refilled coffee a bunch. Probably has good lunch too but wasn't in for this.

The food was amazing. Not very often for I try chicken and waffles but today was one of those days I did. I was not disappointed. The chicken was tender and juicy with a very crispy breading. The waffle was good as well. The service was great as well. Our coffee and water were always full, we had everything we wanted too. I did have one minor issue. The condiments hadn't been wiped down in some time from the looks of them. The sugar was in Tupperware and that was kind of gross as well. I wouldn't let that steer you away from this place, may have just been our table. I would recommend trying the food It was GREAT!

Nice way if hiding a burnt Biscuit, So I'm done with this place good luck. Also they are reusing the ToGo menus instead of throwing them away and giving you a new one. So much for safe practices. Looks more like they are trying to hide the High prices. And quality of food has definitely suffered under new ownership.

I asked for steak and eggs and they brought the whole cow! The steak was tender, well seasoned and cooked as expected. The eggs and toast were good as well. My only complaint was they only serve hash browns and not home fries but the breakfast is so big you probably won't get to the potatoes anyway

Honk if you love Chicken Fried Steak! Suggested the sign out front. I don't think the sign is still there, we came in from the back. Well that is just what I had, and as always, it was delicious! The hubby broke his fast with the other very popular RHG favorite, house made Pork Chili Verde. It's so good. Bring your appetite, they feed ya! We ate outside. We do whenever weather permits because it never compromises the service.

Always great service and great food. I've been enjoying it for 10+ years. Has gotten a little pricier though.
