Oldest commercial ship and warship building yard in Bangladesh. All credit goes to Bangladesh Navy for operating such great work. Khulna Shipyard is 100% operated by Bangladesh Navy and but not Government, lots of people has a misconception about that. They are growing very fast and presently they are producing goods by their own (goods need to repare or built new ship) which the used to import from different countries such as Rubber.

I think KSY is one of the top 5 Shipyard in Bangladesh. The administration, team work, quality is great on the other hand cost is little bit high but output quality is good enough. I would like to thank KSY for there good quality. Best of luck KSY...

Khulna shipyard is a name of hope for Bangladesh. Once a time we could not imagine that our shipyard will manufacture a number of giant ships for export to abroad to such a big country like Germany, Netherlands, France many other countries. Hope it will continue for a long time and manufacture another number of different giant ships.

⚓It's a shipbuilding and repair facility located on the outskirts of Khulna, Bangladesh, operated under the supervision of Bangladesh Ministry of Defense and Bangladesh Navy. It was established in 1957 with German assistance. Quite neat, tidy and beautiful place… Although public entry is prohibited, one can walk in on reference. It is located on a large area on the banks of Rupsa river. So you can visit the riverside part of the shipyard by trawler from Rupsa Ghat. To kill two birds with one stone! Shipyard and river cruises on boar/trawler!!🛶

Wonderful place to visit though its not a tourist place. 100% industrial area but seems like a wonderful and breathable village.
