I take pleasure in my leisurely strolls at Beachfront Park, a charming destination accessible through two routes: one involves driving south on Liverpool Road until its conclusion, while the other entails parking at the end of Sandy Beach Road and making your way through Alex Robertson Park. This enchanting beachfront area offers a serene path that runs alongside the water, with convenient picnic benches for resting, a playground, and a waterpark to keep the little ones entertained. For your convenience, restrooms are available on the east side, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings. Please keep in mind that if you are not a Pickering resident, there is a paid parking option. Furthermore, if you're a cyclist, be aware that the boardwalk has not been repaired. As a result, when you continue along the waterfront trail, you'll need to dismount and walk your bike through a mixture of rocks and sand from one end to the other.

Nice beach, not too crowded, plentiful parking nearby (including some free parking ) Naval village is a stone throw away and had a few restaurants, coffee shops, icecream parlor etc. Overall a great place to visit, if you don't mind a nuclear station nearby (I personally don't, I think it is actually cool)

A beautiful boardwalk by lake Ontario, with a small beach, picnic tables and a public washroom. There is a splash pad, but I am not sure it's working. Overall it is a quiet and nice place to walk around or have a snack by the lakefront.

Nice beach front with direct access to Sandy beach. Truly a "heavenly" daily walk place for people living nearby while at the same time it is a nice place for weekend family picnic. Provided with foot washing place, splash pad and wash rooms too. Accessible parking. Nice views for photography.

Nice place to visit. Good for a walk in lovely weather. Lot of restaurants, bars nearby with great ambiance. Finding parking is a bit of a problem on a busy day. Overall a great place to visit.

A great place to visit if you just want to have a quiet time. Sit by the lighthouse on the rocks and pretty much forget everything and just feel the breeze.

Great place to come for a walk, picnic and to swim. Beach does have pebbles though and depending on where you are the washroom can be far from you. Well maintained and you can BBQ here so that's great ♨️.

Absolutely beautiful place. Clean beach, food trucks available at the beach, or there are shops and other places to grab a bite. Parts of the show Imposters was filmed there as well. Kids love it. Lots for them to do. Live music in the summer too. Sun sets just behind the docked boats. Beautiful back drop for a photo shoot .

It's a great place for family fun. There's a sandy beach, splash pad, red and green lighthouses, Millennium Square, wetland, marina, and coffee shop, ice cream and fast food truck and restaurants. The Waterfront trail east to Ajax, west to Scarbogh. Washroom and parking lot is available.

Super cute spot! Its perfect for a date or a family afternoon. Love the beach style townhouses and all the shops down the strip! We got dinner at the beach chip truck and it was super good! We didn’t go for a swim as it was windy but it seemed that people had towels and beach chairs set up so the beach is swimmable. Just a funky smell aha.

Nice beach spot just 30 min outside Toronto. Pros: doesn't get too busy, great view and food options just minutes walk away. Has splash pad for kids as well! Has lots of picnic tables and washrooms on the beach too! Cons: it's SUPER pebbly. Should rename it pebble beach. It's paid parking now in the lots, atleast on weekends. $5/hr in any of the lots, it was free prior to May 2022.

Nice beach with an adjacent splash pad. A walking distance to a couple of restaurants, cafes, and ice cream shop. walking to the minaret can also be pleasant with a nice view on the Lake on one side and frenchman's bay on the other side. The park also connects to a nice short trail through Alex Robertson Park.

I discovered this place from a bike ride. There is a bike trail. This location is not far from Toronto. We came to swim. There is street parking and paid parking. The paid parking is reasonable price. There are restaurants and ice cream parlors along the street. There is public washroom. The beach is clean. There are tables, chairs and umbrellas on the beach. It is suggested to bring chairs, towels, some snacks, sandwiches, cool drinks to spend a day there. Good place for kids and adults!!

Pickering city has this nice place of waterfront park which has the one of the amazing view of Ontario lake from Pickering. Big parks and private beach place for swimming, long walkways for dog walking and also nice space for doing private picnics. Ample space for having distance measured meetings with your family and friends at this place.

Amazing place to be. Do try the yellow food spot right next to the parking. Poutine was amazing. Cash only at the stall but the attendant was really sweet. Loved her way of explaining what I wanted to know. Halal options available I guess because I read halal written on the chalk board.

Very peaceful for morning walks & biking. Parking is 9am onwards. Two light houses (red & green) but one can’t cross the other side. Two parks (Frenchman’s bay - Green light house & Beachfront Park - red light house )

One of the best beaches in Pickering to take a walk during the summer months. The lakeshore is well built, the water is clean and then there are plenty of places to sit and relax.

Lovely peaceful place or crazy active, nevertheless it's amazing for everybody, especially for family during the warmer season.

I come down to the lake three times a week for about 45 minutes with my Tim Hortons coffee and the dog and in the summer there's a beautiful beach near the yacht club where you can just walk where there are benches every few meters little spots to sit and reflect or just watch the waves coming in. It's a wonderful place to spot nature as well I often see Canada geese and a heck of a lot of beautiful white swans. If you're into yachting there is a lake house in the yacht club connected

Quiet on a Sunday. Everything closed - maybe it's the time of year? Great little walk by the water. Small, has a beach area. Free parking on the street and there's a parking spot right at the end of Liverpool Rd on your left.

I had an amazing time at Beachfront Park !!The soft sand, crystal-clear waters, and stunning views made it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The beach was clean, and the facilities were well-maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful beach experience !!

A gem. In my opinion, the best waterfront parks are in Durham region and Frenchman's bay is one of them. Crystal clear water, laid back vibe and not overcrowded like Toronto's beaches.
