If you are looking for a peaceful place to meditate or even do an offering. During the day is the best time to go (to me). They have different services throughout the week. (COVID PENDING). The pundit (s) are really nice and helpful. If you are going there in the current times. Call ahead of time or check the website for hours. Also remember to wear your mask.

A very nice and beautiful temple nearby. Nice and clean environment. There are satsang and other programs weekly. Spacious in terms of parking and to sit inside the temple. You can go there and sit for prayers and get positive, vibrant energy.

Visited this temple for the first time with a bunch of friends on January 1st this year. Overall experience was great except one thing which is they have a board in the entrance stating that jackets and footwear are not allowed inside. I completely understand and respect the sentiment of removing the footwear but not sure why they want people to remove their jackets?? Luckily it wasn't very cold hence i was able to remove it after reading their note but was wondering about senior citizens and elderly people?? Is it mandatory or just advisable to remove it. Maybe a rephrased sentence might help, just a suggestion, thank you.

My first mandir visit in Canada and I am told this is relatively a bigger temple. It's quite and calm allowing you for a peaceful time. It's very well maintained and has all the amenities.

Great temple for the community where people can come to perform puja, celebrate festivals and connect with the community. Management and Pandit Ji manages everything very well. The site is also big and has ample parking.

temple is nice however, punditji was impolite or rude as I took some pics and videos to show to family though I visited from GTA to the temple, they should be friendly with everyone and should not discriminate, they were allowing people from garba program s to take as many pictures as they liked everywhere, there are people who come from far of to take darshan and pics or videos in winter weather

I was fortunate to have the opportunity of having the Darshan at the Devi Mandir on the auspicious daybook Dussera. It is one of a big building housing the temple, in the east end of Toronto, near Ajax Pickering. It is about 30+ years in existence, with the current new building having constructed in place of the original small house in the year 1997. Although it is primarily Devi Mandir, there are idols of almost every major God worshiped by Hindus. The mandir is open on all 7 days of week, and conducts various religiius activities on regular basis. On every Sunday there is Bhajan and Kirtan session from 10 am to 12 noon, followed by Preeti Bhoj. Various community events are organised by the Mandir management through the year, and they also offer various other services including weddings as per Hindu traditions.

This is a small but nice hindu mandir in Ajax, Durham Region, Greater Toronto Area. They have multiple services and activities that help celebrate and understand Hinduism.

The cleanest Temple, the vibe is good. Only thing I wish they organize more of Indian festivals and events. Also if they do any puja in temple is should be done by Indian pundits, English doesn’t give feel.

The only best temple in Durham region! ✨✨✨✨✨ To begin with, the temple is located on the main road. Parking space is huge. There are few parking spots close to the entry gate which can be greatly beneficial for certain population with kids and older parents who might not want to walk all the way in harsh Canadian Winter! The temple premise is always very neat and clean. You have to leave your coat and shoes downstairs before you go upstairs to worship just like any other temple. There are lot of religious festivities going on at this temple. If you are (or your parents) someone who enjoys joining such activities, THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU! Personally I feel like it gives you inner peace. Such a holy place!

Down with your spirit and morale, when you come as a new immigrant to Canada- the land of opportunity, but there are certain times when you are not being taken care of by your destiny...... don't regret and curse yourself....just be in touch with your own God...feel his presence to boost you.. Devi mandir is the right niche which you should resort to .....also you will have a golden chance to meet up with new people to connect and get leads.....I love being to Devi mandir.. especially Sundays as you can be part of nostalgia prayers (Bhajan). and then. Prasad (Bhojan)...

Went there on about one week ago, happened to be very quiet that day, but we're able to do a little puja with the Maharaj, who did a good job. After that we were just admiring all the idols on display. Time well spent.

It’s a nicely maintained temple, with many deities. It was a decent visit, clean and pretty hygienic .. but unfortunately pujari ji Mr Khali was a bit rude without any reason. We called the temple to simply check if they were open considering there was snow all over the stairs. To this his response was: you asking too many questions. 😂 I mean seriously, it was literally my ONLY question. Seemed like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed..but I won’t take away anything from the temple overall cos of one individual

Very pleasant and beautiful mandir. Priest is very sweet and gives very good advice and dharshan. If you go near closing time you can take aarthi ,which was very warmth for us . It has ample parking and beautifully decorated inside temple, all follow covid protocol. Every week some Pooja is there which you can relish and enjoy. Very good place to mediate as it's a big hall and very silent .place is very neat and clean, restroom are very well maintained and separate coat stands kudos for the team who does it. Finally A very good dharshan 🙏

The deities are extremely gorgeous. A very peaceful and beautiful temple. A great place to meditate and pray quietly. I will give it a five star for the deities. But some of the people in charge of the temple/ people that take care of the temple/ responsible for the temple must be more friendlier. Being rude and unfriendly isn't acceptable.

Rude guy demanding people take their coats off at the altar. The reasoning was people take their coats to the bathroom or smoke in it. But people wear their clothes without coats to the washroom (or to smoke) too. They think coats are made of leather. But the guy visibly had a leather wallet in his pocket. Such a hypocrite. I have Hashimoto auto-immune disorder, so was too cold to take the coat off. He started screaming in my face and charged at me. I got off the altar without saying a word. Then he started targeting me and made them interrupt the service to explain their ‘reasons’ for no coat policy. Outdated, antiquated practices that won’t survive the younger generation that see through their bigotry.

👍👍 Frenchman's Bay is a great place to visit and spend your day, chill and hike with friends and family. It is a small place with not many parking spaces.
