    I came to this store Because of trust! Horrible experience and wasted so much time dealing with the Pickering location. Associate named Rocky lied and manipulated words to get a sale. Also charged my card 2x for the purchase I made! Manager Samantha is only a manager by title and has no power or concern for customer service. This store needs real training in customer service. Will never buy from people's again. Many other stores with better service that deserve our money.

    my second experience from people’s jewellers, and I’ll find something else. Ordered earrings for pick up and had an email saying that the order was ready, the manager Bhnvna stated that it’s impossible to place an order and get it the day after(even though that’s what the website stated) she also stated that I should rely on cell phone because the email notification isn’t reliable. When I got home there was a voicemail on my phone stating that my order is ready, it was from earlier that day. Asked for them shipped because I live 10 km away, and she said nothing is free. People’s has poor customer service and it’s the same at each store.

    The manager BHAVNA is horrible. Bad manners and rude. Stared at me as if I was taking up the employee time. My sister and I went in together but we were doing separate purchases. She made her $1000 purchase and now it was my turn with the same employee I’ve dealt with for over 15 years. Ive always walk out with a purchase except this one time because of her attitude. I decided to show her I would not make a purchase. I have never experienced such manner from any manger before. She is not worthy of being the stores manager. Get her out. Exceptional service from Gordana as always.

    Ordered a watch for my wife here. Order came in 2 packages so we had to come back a second time. Customer service can definitely use some improvement.

    I have been dealing with Peoples Jewellers in the Pickering Town Center for over 20 years. I have always gotten exceptional customer service from everyone one at the store. Especially Jackie, Bhavna and Ashini. I would definitely recommend Peoples Jewellers in Pickering Town Center to everyone

    I am one of the oldest customers of the store. The staff is so sweet and cooperative that they have a thorough chat to see what you are looking for. They also incorporate your ideas. I just bought a ring for my 20th anniversary and BHAVNA PRAJAPATI ( STORE MANAGER) was so kind and sweet. I m so happy with her customers service especially.

    Be careful using their online store. "2 day shipping" not very accurate. I've been waiting over a week now since order. Spoke with customer service and was basically told to be patient. Checked with canada post and turns out peoples hadn't even shipped it yet. Go with a local jeweller that will actually care about you.

    All the employees are very helpful and nice! A girl named Farah helped me with my earrings and ring purchase. She is one of the best as she paid attention to my choice and helped me to find beautiful earrings for my daughter and a ring for me! She’s very patient and very helpful!

    worst experience! was racially profiled by associate SAMANTHA! Shes an uncle tom and very disrespectful! Went home and ordered online instead of giving them my business! so rude and lack customer service! Bavna the store manager needs to coach her staff! will not be returning! save your hard earnned money and go to a different location! These people do not care about others!

    I have never bought anything from Peoples Jewellers and never will. Their prices are outrageous! I was gifted a ring 3 years ago that came from Peoples, 1 blue Sapphire stone fell out so of course i go to them first. I called before going in and a really nice guy answered the phone and said they would be able to do it even without a receipt. Go in same day, a lady rudley immediately said he's new before i could finish explaining the situation and said they wont be able to do it. No explanation. After a little a push, she said it would cost $800-900 without warranty. On their website it clearly states no warranty includes replacing a stone. She couldnt even give me an actual amount without sending it out (why would i do that if that would be the price). Their website also states you can get an estimate in store. I dont think she knows her job or their website is not accurate or maybe both. She also couldnt explain why that would be the price to replace a tiny stone on a $200 ring (current price online). I ended up going to an independent jeweller and paid $150 to replace the stone. Dont give the big companies your money! Find the little guys who truely deserve it!!

    Best customer service ever, Bhavna helped me find the right jewelry for my family members birthday. She was very knowledgeable about every I asked for, and always provided me with the information I needed. I would definitely recommend coming to her to ask for any questions or jewelry that you would want to buy or gift.

    I had a very unusual situation, and this store worked with head office to rectify the situation and was able to help me out. I purchased a lot from them due to having a lot of credit. The manager of the store was super helpful I highly recommend going there for your jewelry needs.

    Great customer service by Samantha, she was able to show me a vary of jewelry designs that suited my needs. Service was so good I purchased several items. A necklaces ankle bracelet earrings and bracelet. I am truly a happy and definitely a returning customer.

    Excellent service in store. Main issue is that I wasn’t notified when the rings I was resizing were ready for pick up. I ended up having to call the store after 2 and a half weeks of scanning my emails to no avail, upon which I discovered that they had been ready for a week and a half. The email system is an issue. Phoning clients provides faster service and adds a personal touch to the experience.

    I went to get anniversary gift for my wife with no clue in mind what to get. It was a busy Monday evening and had to wait for sometime but wait was worth. There were 2 sales consultant helping guest as per their turns. I came across Rocky he is an amazing person with great charming and super friendly personality. He welcomed me listened my thoughts and went on showing/telling me wide options for her gift. Rocky is really great with his knowledge and is very friendly and helpful consultant. I will definitely be back at store and look for Rocky to help me in future purchases. Highly recommended.

    Worst service ever i bought a 700 dollar watch on Saturday for my wife and on Sunday i gave her the watch as an anniversary gift and she told me it wasn't working. So today on Monday i brought it back to the store and the lady at the counter told me it needs the battery. So i asked her to change the battery and she replied that she has to send it to the wear house to get it fixed and it's gonna take more then 2 weeks. And she latterly told me to go get it fix from the outside vendor. Like come on i paid for the watch and paid 15 dollars for the battery. It's not about 15 dollars it's about the service. I wish i could give zero star. 👎

    When you have a good sales associate a company can thrive. Today at People’s in Pickering Town Centre, I met Akash. We went in for cleaning my rings but ended up buying my husband a brand new Vera Wang wedding band. Akash was patient in explaining about the warranty and answering every question we had. He is good at his job but also friendly and polite. Thanks you Akash.

    Love going to this peoples. The staff are so wonderful, especially Veronica! I am a long time customer of hers and have travelled with her wherever she goes!     Very impressed ... I was gifted an expensive gold bracelet for Xnas 2020. Before a month, it broke. We couldn't return it till February due to lockdown. I exchanged it for another style (@ $200 more)which subsequently broke within a month and was lost. Last week we found the bracelet and today, 9 months later People's exchanged it!!! THAT is customer service!

    I am a regular buyer of peoples jewellers online though, today I went to pick up an order on behalf of my FIL because he is out of country, he didn't put my name or my husband name as an authorized person to pick up the order there. The Lady I met at the store, absolutely bizarre and disrespectful. I told her the reason why I am here and she was like we can't give it you because of the policy which is fair and understandable, and then she asks for my id and says we don't know who you are and turns her back on me and starts talking to her colleagues as if I am some random shoplifter, or someone who is just messing around. And she was loud when she mentioned WE DONT KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! of course you don't know and you asked for my id. Instead of disrespecting a customer why don't you help out or be nice just like your other colleague who handled the same situation with empathy and yet didn't go against the policy. She wasn't even wearing her name badge, probably she has a bad reputation generally.

    Finally took my wedding and engagement rings in for repair and cleaning. Had to increase size (hey, it’s been 25 years..). I literally cried when I saw the finished product. I honestly think they sparkle more than they did when they were new! I’ve had them cleaned before but this was next level. And the minor repairs done - excellent with no distortion of the engraving inside the band. Staff were great.

    My fiancé ordered a ring last week of July and was told it would be a 10 day waiting period. Come first week of September we had no ring and no contact from anyone at People’s to let us know where our ring was. September 1 we got a call saying our ring was stolen in transit. At no point in between July and September did anyone at a store level communicate with us what was happening with the status of our delivery. The store let us know we could come in and they would provide a solution. When we went into the store the following week, we were dealing with the store manager Soroush. He was unsympathetic, unapologetic and rude. He also told us since it was over the 30 day return policy he would not refund the ring. How can this be possible for a ring that we never received? We ended up being pressured into choosing a ring from their in store stock - Our whole engagement timeline and experience was ruined. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone uses them for such a special moment in their lives, as it will likely be ruined. One of the employees there named Samantha was the only one who provided any solution.. so if you have to go there try to deal with her.
