The front staff are attentive and very pleasant. Dr. Benzack is both highly skilled and capable. He is empathetic, he explains as needed and is always kind. If you have any anxiety about seeing a dentist, Dr. Benzack does everything in his control to put you at ease. The quality of the dental work is outstanding!

I am beyond just afraid of going to the dentist but I also have the worst gag reflexes and I was worried about having my tooth pulled and how it would work. Dr. Kiana is heaven sent, she has found her calling… the most gentle and kind dentist you can find, she’s so attentive and I never felt rushed or stressed one but during the procedure. I had absolutely no pain during the extraction and after with some pain killers I had no pain either. Dr. Kiana Shojaei is highly skilled and you will be in the most competent hands for any dental work. She kept me calm while doing a great job with the extraction, I was shocked at how quickly it as all over. She never judged me for my dental anxiety and she was so patient with me, where ever I go I will always have to come back to her for anything dental related. THE BEST !!!

Great experience at my dental visit this morning. It was my first time at this office and I was happy to see that all Covid protocols were strictly enforced. Lots of cleaning going on. All staff were very pleasant and welcoming from the receptionist to the surgeon and everyone in between. I will definitely be going back for regular dental work. For the last 13 years this location has been where I go for all my dental care needs. I moved from Pickering to Toronto a year ago and still come here. Dr Joe Malayil and his staff listen to their patients and take care of him/her with great attention. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed!

Crown fell off last night and called next day and got an appointment for 12 noon to reattach it. Saw Dr. Kiana Shojaei, and she is fabulous. She is very thorough and patient, empathetic and shows genuine concern. Highly recommend Dr Shojaei.

Well I am pleased to say that I went in with a broken portion of a tooth looking for an available appointment on December 22 and to my surprise I was seen by our dentist the very next day. Restoring my teeth just in time to enjoy the holidays. The dentists are gifted with a gentle touch and professional abilities that keep us returning for our dental care.. Highly recommended by my family.

Who really likes going to the dentist ? I know I don't but we must if we want to keep our pretty smiles and healthy gums and teeth I must say after my recent dentist retired and I was going there for 20 years I was needing to find another dentist which is NEVER easy I did alot of searching and checking out reviews and I came across Pickering Dental located in the Pickering Town Center The receptionist I had was amazingly wonderful her name is Christine so right away I was satisfied before even seeing the dentist The hygienist I had was Carmen and again she was amazingly wonderful and answered all the questions I had and made sure that I was comfortable and doing ok Than I met the dentist and she was equally just as amazingly wonderful Thank You Pickering Dental for making my visit amazingly wonderful even tho going to the dentist is NEVER fun you made things good while I was there Thank You :) :)

Best experience I've EVER had at a dentist in 40 years!! Dr Joe Mayayil is a miracle worker!! Never really felt any pain for a tooth removal and filling and he makes you feel at ease, his dental assistant Natalie is always very friendly and makes you feel at ease, all the receptionist are very friendly especially Linda. If you need a dentist I highly recommend coming here!! 10 stars everyone!!

I have been with the same dentist office for over 30 years. The staff are friendly and the service is great. Dr Bencak is amazing. Makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. I always know I am in good hands. Always explains to me what he is going to do and asking me my medical history updates in case a drug interferes with my teeth. Just amazing place clean and amazing service.

Best dental office I’ve ever been to! All of the staff are extremely friendly and professional. The receptionists, the hygienists and the dentists (specifically Dr. Joe M, who has been the one dealing with my teeth) are all spectacular. I stumbled upon this dental office by accident, and at first was reluctant because of the location (being in the mall food court) but I’m happy I ended up here as this is definitely going to be my new dentist going forward!

I had my teeth cleaned by a pro at 3:30pm on Fri Ap19. She was great, knows her craft. But I'm writing this review to acknowledge one of the receptionists. She is certainly friendly, but she actually left the sanctuary of the plexi-protected front desk, walked all the way around to sit right next to an elderly gentleman who was clearly in need of a little reassurance and some info. Big smiles, eye-contact and & empathy is something I haven't seen demonstrated in a healthcare setting in quite some time. It's just the dentist you say? There are a bazillion dental clinics. I was able to get an appointment the next day as a new client with some pain I wanted to get checked out. The staff were all very respectful of the fact that I'm pregnant and did a variety of non-invasive tests and an exam that did not need to include x-rays. The visit helped ease my mind and I hardly waited at all to be seen after filling out my paperwork. Bonus points for being open and reachable on Sundays! I have already encouraged my husband to check them out for his dentistry needs.

The dentist who was helping me was good but the management of the clinics are the worst, I used to go there for few years when i was living in Pickering and when i had to live outside of Pickering they told me that i can’t come anymore! I was i a real pain and i had to find another dentist and couldn’t take an appointment. They weren’t even saying sorry for that behaviour. And i had some other situations where they didn’t help me in a polite way.

This is a great dental clinic. Their covid safety protocols are excellent and the dental care itself was gentle and painless. The dentist and hygienist are friendly and take their time to get to explain everything. Prices are fair and they are on top of booking you in for your next appointment and calling to remind you of it a few days before. I recommend this clinic to anyone looking in the area.

I have been a patient of Dr Joseph Bencak for well over 20yrs and if l could give him 10 stars l would. I have had a knee Replacement since being a patient and he would talk about what to expect etc ..... he's like a GP too so knowledgeable on everything .. He is such a fantastic person and dentist .....l will never ,ever go anywhere else. The dental office too is so modern and up to date on everything and of course it's in the Pickering Town Centre so has mall hrs !!!.

Mixed experiences... Different hygienist every time, different dentist every time, even after requesting specific ones. My regular cleaning appointment took over an hour with a particularly slow hygienist that drew a lot of blood for no reason.. Not going there anymore...

Michelle, the hygienist that was her name. I love how she went through everything detail by detail and was preparing me with everything that was happening and what was the next step. She was amazing, she made be feel very comfortable and listened to everything I had to say. I was in pain and she understood that...

The hygienists were really nice and explained everything really well. They gave me some great tips to help keep my teeth and gums healthy and explained anything that was happening with my kids.

Dr. Bencak is the kindest, pain free dentist. If anyone has a fear of seeing the dentist he is the Doctor to see. My family and I have been his patients for over 20 years.

My dental hygienist is Florin and he is the best. I have anxiety and vertigo that makes my dental visits, sometimes difficult. Florin made sure that I feel anxious and less dizzy today- he even put a pillow behind my head and use two Paper cups one for rinsing and the other for spitting water so I didn’t have to keep moving and feel dizzy. I truly, truly appreciate all these Florin😊

Dr. Malayil is an awesome dentist. I can’t recall his assistant name but she’s awesome too, a total Optimist. I came in looking to revive a smile I hadn’t used in years and got exactly what that. Dr. Mayali is also well versed in movies and TV series so if you need any recommendations, he’s your guy. Give him a chance, he’s my dentist for life.

I was referred to this dental practice by my mother who is a patient when I was visiting from the UK. I had pain from a failed filling which was done in England and upon investigation needed a root canal. Dr Bencak and his team were extremely kind, gentle and accommodating. They bent over backwards to fit me in and complete the work quickly so I could fly back to the UK on time. They explained every stage of the procedure and I felt very comfortable during the whole process. I can’t recommend them enough and have passed their details on to several family members. This Dental Office was highly recommended by my Son’s girlfriend at the time, whose family had been going there … since they opened. They gave great reviews and raved about the quality of care!!! I have very high standards, and serious expectations … when it comes to mine and my family’s dental care. From the AMAZING and VERY EFFICIENT STAFF, that greets you … with utmost professionalism, and … very graciously welcomes you as friends, … of the community, is the beginning ambiance! They are friendly … kind and helpful, and go out of their way … to assist you, as well as look after … all of your needs. The finance department at this Office … are also willing to work with those, who sometimes need extra time, to pay for their fees and dental work … accordingly. They work effectively in accommodating you with scheduling that works around your working hours, and other commitments … as well. They send out reminders prior to your appointment dates, either on line, or by calling you at home, and always ask if you need an appointment card with dates and times written, for subsequent visits. They work very efficiently and are respectful and courteous to their clients, as well as their coworkers. You are escorted into the individual dental cubicles, by the dental assistants … on time, every time!!! I’ve rarely ever gone past my arranged time, to be seen!!! The cubicles themselves are extremely well kept and clean! There are personal areas to hang up your coats/jackets and purses … in the individual rooms as well. Rather then in the general area where everyone comes and goes. Having this security is also welcomed.

Front desk ladies were amazing, and the Dr along with his assistant....top notch. My 14 month daughter face planted on ashphalt while walking, she busted her lip, bled everywhere and her lips were so swollen we couldn't see her top front teeth; thinking it had all broken off. When we arrived to the office, they rushed us in for the assessment ASAP. Luckily, the swelling had gone down. The Dr reassured us all her teeth were intact and that its all minor tissue damage to the top lip. We were so relieved. The Dr gave us alot of information to prepare us for possible issues moving forward, but thankfully, my daughter has fully healed after a week. Thank you for being so empathetic and so kind. You guys rock!

I'm beyond pleased with my experience with Dr KIANA Shojaei and her assistant KAREEMA! Even though I have fears of being at the dentist they both put me at ease.
