Dentistry on Liverpool is amazing! Very professional staff from the front desk to the dental hygienists, assistants and dentists. Dr. Maisels is the best! He gave me numerous treatment options to fix my broken crown and was a pleasure to deal with. They have been great with the rest of my family as well.. Would give them 3 thumbs up but I only have 2! Highly recommend

It's a nice clean establishment and the people are friendly. They will however tap you for absolutely everything they can. And they will try to upsell you on everything they can as well. Make sure your benefits are top notch or you have deep pockets. My benefits are quite good and they could not handle the extra charges. Unfortunately I had to pull my family out to look for another dentist Besides that beautiful place Just an update to kind of respond to the write-up dentistry on Liverpool left me below. My son was not even in a room for 45 minutes with a dentist we got double tapped for two units and also an examination fee. It was some crazy amount of money for 45 minutes. And I had literally just paid for an examination fee when he had four teeth pulled a month prior.

Used to go there a few years ago. Not great experiences. First dentist I had there was almost arrogant. Made me feel like he was doing me a huge favour. When I asked any questions I was made to feel stupid. They went over my insurance allowance on more than one occasion despite me asking them after the first time to let me know when we were getting to the limit so I didn't have an big surprises. Apparently they didn't care too much about that because it happened again. Fillings both my husband and I had that were done by the same dentist hurt for months afterward then eventually fell out!! No, I don't particularly care how friendly the front staff is if the work they do is not even close to being satisfactory. Seek out a different option!

My husband recently started going to this office. He was told he needed a couple fillings. Had them done and has been in pain ever since. On a separate occasion, he went in as an emergency to have a tooth that was infected looked at. The doctor tried to freeze him so she could clean around the tooth but was unable to freeze him. He was billed for an emergency exam and an xray PLUS another fee of $130+ to "clean the infection". HOW??!! The dentist wasn't even able to touch the tooth. This office will suck your insurance dry for work they don't do. Go somewhere else with morals if you're smart.

I was looking for a knowledgeable and caring professional dentist. Four months ago, I was referred to Dr. Adam Maisels by my specialist. I'm extremely satisfied, as all of my medical concerns are always considered. Everyone in the office shows compassion & care, right from the moment you walk in the door to the moment at the end of your appointment with Dr. Maisels, where he escorts you back to the entrance. I am only making this comment because I feel it's necessary. I only went to this dentist because it was beside where I used to work. I no longer work there and I still come back, even though it's a little more inconvenient. I apologize in advance if I spell his name wrong; but Dr Maisel, he's truly a great dentist. I just got my last wisdom tooth taken out, it had to happen one at a time over 2 years because I'm uninsured and dental work is expensive. But going here really really made me feel secure, and in good hands. My final wisdom tooth removal was the scariest as it had cracked. But I could not praise the results more. He truly does good work and I would genuinely recommend his work to anyone who is nervous.

This was my first dentist visit in quite a while and everything was amazing! Julia is the best dental hygienist I've ever dealt with! She is nothing but professional and has a great command of her craft. Highly recommend this dentistry!

Dr Karr is wonderful. After several not-so-nice experiences elsewhere followed by years of avoiding any dentist, Dr Karr has given me my smile back 😊 She has been only patient and non-judgmental, even when my behaviour embarrassed me, and is very particular about getting things just right. Sandi the administrator, the hygienists and the front desk staff have all been so kind and encouraging as well.

All of the dentists are highly skilled, professional, and knowledgeable. It is a very warm and welcoming environment, and I appreciate how organized and well-run it is. I can’t say enough positive things about this dental office!

All of the staff are great specially the Filipina 's from the front desk ( whom, I wasn't able to know her name by chance), Ms. Joylen (very nice, amazing lady) who assisted Dr. Brar and the other Dr. who also help Dr. Brar in examining and analyzing what's wrong with my tooth...all of you guys are amazing! This past weekend I broke off a large piece of my molar while eating dinner. At 7:30 on Monday morning I placed a call to Dentistry on Liverpool and explained my dilemma. The receptionist that took my call was extremely polite, cheerful and accommodating. Without hesitation she booked an appointment for later that morning. I cannot say that I ever enjoyed going to the dentist but Dr. Anna and her staff made me feel extremely welcome despite the fact that I was adding to their already busy Monday. I am filled with gratitude from the exceptional service I received. Dr. Anna, thank you for being a truly spectacular dentist! I strongly recommend the Dentistry on Liverpool if anyone is looking for a high standard of care!

I had a very pleasant experience from start to finish. All the staff was very nice, the hygienist, dentist and receptionist were really kind. This is a top-tier and clean dental office, which features a lot of equipment such as a panoramic x-ray machine. I'm glad to become a patient of them

I stopped going to this dentist office 5+years ago after being a life long patient. I should have left this review a long time ago however never crossed my mind to leave a google review until now. Here we go. I used this dentist office for 20+ years. We used to see Dr. Weiner, who was a great dentist, kind, warm bedside manner, always telling jokes, he did great work. When he retired, I then saw a few of the other dentists, Dr. Anna Aleinikov was great. Dr. Adam Maisels was amazing. He did work on my teeth that was second to none. He fixed a filling and it was like the tooth was never even worked on. It was a great experience. Then I had children, of course wanted to continue with the office I'd been dealing with all my life and even though we live in Toronto we would make the trip to Pickering to see the dentist. I brought my child when she was around 6 or 7 years old to see Dr. Waks (wanted female dr. So my kid would be comfortable), biggest mistake I ever made, I had seen her before, not the best manner, found her abrupt and she had done work in my mouth that I had to come back to fix because it wasn't right, my bite was off after recieving a filling. So should have have went with my gut that she wasn't the best dentist or at least not a good fit for us. My poor little girl had a baby tooth with a cavity. Dr.Katharine Waks said she needed to pull the tooth out but that it was ready to come anyway. The tooth extraction took like 10 minutes, she was pulling away my daughter was crying and screaming away, the tooth broke, which made the procedure take more time. She was in pain and discomfort for days. My daughter was traumatized and fearful of the dentist afterwards. The tooth was no where near ready to come out, it took more that a year for that adult tooth to come out. The tooth grew in weird after. It grew in on a slant inwards, I really think that she pulled this prematurely to get the extra fee. If it was ready to come out why was it so difficult to remove? Funny, I spoke to a friend about it afterwards. He said "Oh I hate that dentist office, they pulled a tooth and I don't think it needed to come out" guess which denist?? Waks. I was so upset and angry with the whole experience. We never went back. We found a specialist children's dentist after that to help to coax my child back to being comfortable in visiting the dentist again.

One is always in 'good hands' at 'Dentistry at Liverpool'. Dr. Anna is an excellent dentist, thorough and reassuring. The staff is personable and professional. A special thank you goes out to Sandi. An added bonus is the place is extremely clean and inviting with a very nice decor. From all my years with them, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Update: Having the same dentist correct her mistake wasn't going to be acceptable. The offer was there, but we didn't take advantage of that... and that's on us.

I’ve had the opportunity to see two of the dentists in this practice - Dr. Maisels & Dr. Karr. I called on a Monday night with a pain issue and they got me in first thing the next morning with Dr. Maisels - I was seen quickly and the resulting examination was fantastic! I returned a few weeks later and saw Dr. Karr - she replaced 4 old fillings my prior dentist did 15+ years ago and I felt zero pain or discomfort. Everyone from the receptionists, techs and dentists made me feel welcome and well taken care of! I saw my prior dentist for 25 years and now that he’s retiring I’m happy to put my dental health in the hands of Dentistry on Liverpool.

I am very appreciative of the Dentistry on Liverpool. I am from the USA visiting family in Pickering ONT. I developed a toothache that had to be addressed. The Dentistry on Liverpool was very accomodating. I was seen by a Dr Karr within 45 minutes of my unscheduled arrival. After x-rays, we were able to address my toothache based on my travel plans. The Dentistry on Liverpool is friendly, professional and again very accommodating, I highly recommend them.

I called at 8:00 a.m. with a dental emergency ; having had my 15 yr old bridge become loose. By 2 p.m. the same day, all was repaired and recemented and I walked out as if nothing had happened. Many thanks to the office staff for accommodating me in an extremely timely manner and particularly to Dr. K Wax for her expertise, and patience.

The staff all help me through my anxiety if I know I'm getting a filling my anxiety starts the night before my tears flow and I'm scared But upon arrival last week I had the staff comfort me especially the lady Sandy she distracted me and I was calm Dr Maisel and his assistant helped me stay calm they told me step by step what was happening and reassured me Also kept lighting low showing great sensitivity to my needs of getting migraines I also have Andra my dental hygienist take her time and help me feel safe always. I came in suddenly with gum pain and I was treated very quickly for it, and had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed the next week by Dr. Maisels. He answered all my questions, explained all my options thoroughly, and never made me feel pressured to go any one route. Easily the best Dentistry I've been to my whole life. Thank you so much for providing such good service! I will be recommending this place to everyone in the area.

Office is bright and clean. Hygienist and dentist are friendly and informative. Made my anxious child feel comfortable and explained everything to her. Dentist didn’t recommend any unnecessary treatments or procedures. The office staff are helpful and friendly. Great experience overall.

Excellent staff. I forgot to bring a mask with me so I turned around at the door to run back home to get one and one of the ladies working there ran out after me to give me one. She was really friendly and immediately put me at ease: I hadn't been to a dentist in several years and was anxious. My appointment was exactly on time and the woman who did my scans and cleaning (Rhonda) was a delight: personable, friendly, funny, caring, and incredibly competent. She made the appointment fly by and my scaling was literally painless. Even the assistant (Brooke) who typed everything up was pleasant and affable. The dentist (Dr Wax) was kind, to the point, and warm. The receptionists were pleasant and very helpful, as I had had to call and inquire about X-rays before coming in. Honestly, I left the dentist's office feeling like I had just been to a spa. Long story short, I actually enjoyed going to the dentist here.

I used to dread seeing the dentist, but I cannot say enough good things about the team at Dentistry on Liverpool. I had Jessica the dental hygienist today and she was very thorough, quick with her measurements of my gums (which is something I usually hate having done when I go to the dentist), and friendly but professional. I really enjoyed my experience today! I also had Dr. Fen (or is it Fenn, sp?) as my dentist and she was lovely! It was my first dental experience since having my child in July and everything was clean and I didn't feel nervous about COVID one bit. Great job, ladies! No cavities for me. :)
