Amazing 🤩 experience! Was lovely to see so much history throughout clocks and watches. Definitely recommend visiting, it’s very cheap but you can also donate for the museum which is what we did. We hope if we come back after years it will still be here 😄

Worth visiting! A beautiful place with interesting history and very beautiful, old-fashioned clocks The staff is friendly and the price for the entrance is decent. You can buy the ticket online as well.

Worth a visit. Nice small museum with thousands of clocks. Some are extremely interesting. Do not make the mistake to pay for the right to take pictures. They do not pay attention who payed and who didn‘t and everyone takes pictures.

This is the best museum in Romania, and a must see when in Ploiesti area. It is a small museum in city center, but with an unique collection of watches belonging to great Romanian personalities and not only (kings, poets, people of culture, some of the famous and biggest romanian people). You will see a lot of pocket watches, standing, wall, and something you cannot see all over the world, but here - picture musical watches. When visiting please observe also the ceilings, well worth see those too, that are very beautiful like the ones you see in the big museums.

The building is gorgeous and the clock and watches collection is impressive. It won't take long to visit it, but it all depends on how much time you spend with each clock. There are some interactive areas, which is a nice touch. Museum personal was polite and attentive. Please do have cash on hand, paying by card is usually possible but it did not work when I visited it.

I’ve seen some nice clocks here. For Kids it’s an interesting journey into the past, very well presented and the right amount and quality of detail

Relatively small museum but still pretty large collection worth seeing. Also some interactive exhibits. There are not many interesting places to visit in Ploiesti but this one is worth it. There could be organised with English guide, sine everything is written in Rumanian.

Really nice building inside and outside. A great collection of clocks, and some interesting modern features you need to see. We were nicely welcomed. The entry is only 4 lei for students.

A small, elegant museum full of clocks, big and small. Quite interesting! You have to pay a tax to enter and another to take photos, in my opinion the photo tax is too big for what it has to offer.

It's a small place, only about 5 rooms, but it has lots of clocks and watches. It normally takes about 30-45 minutes to tour it, if you're not interested in a particular object. If you're there at an exact time (for ex, 10:00), you'll be able to also hear some musical mechanical clocks. There is a new animation shown on a wall with old images of Ploiești.

Clock Museum is a good place to see the clocks there. I put 4 stars because I didn't like the presentation guide and that taking a picture cost 20 lei :(

It is more historical than technical timekeeping museum. But it was still a very pleasant visit. The exhibit is small but very well kept, well worth the very low ticket price.

Very nice museum, lots of clock, also a animation, a great restored house for that time, is like going back with a time machine. Worth visiting only for that. We had the one month pass, with 28 museum from Prahova, bought online on booktess.

Interesting collection of watches . We would have been pleased to have a curator who could present us some exhibits or stories and have at least historical specialist knowledge.Take care to have cash with for tikets.Even we are asked to have POS or special checkout most of estate important tourist buildings or places doesn t have.

A small, beautiful and interesting museum with lots of pieces of the history & art of time tracking. I visited it in January 2019 so there were almost no other people around. Cheap ticket makes it a must go-to if you are not in a big rush. Only objection - when trying to take a picture of some watches with my phone, I was quickly spotted on CCTV and shunned on a rude tone, ok, but otherwise, a very good experience!

A small museum but full of interesting artifacts. Wasn't expecting to see so many beautiful watches. Even if you're not a fan of time pieces, I think this one deserves a visit

Unique place to visit! If you are passing through Ploiești, and you only have time for a visit, The Clock Museum is really the best option.

The building itself is absolutely beautiful and the collection inside is equally gorgeous. A very wide clock collection with intricately designed and absolutely beautiful clocks. Would also suggest that you time your trip in such a way to catch a fixed hour and enjoy the pendulum striking the time. I would also recommend to pay attention to every detail of the building, for example the radiators are beautiful antique peaces, the beautiful stained glass windows and many more details as such. The only thing I personally didn't like was that the fee for taking personal photos with a phone is too high. I would of understood a higher fee if we're talking about professional camera photos, maybe a flash that could affect the clocks but just a simple phone camera doesn't do such. That's a bit of a bad point for them
