Well. This place is having two sides 1. Yes building is nice, renovated and in city center. Maybe will not fit everybody but appearence is well done 👍 2. The host personaly does not fit to this place at all - unfortunately Now i will explain as some people did already as i saw in other reviews We did reservation via airbnb. The host is not telling full truth about parking and as well he did not mentioned that the room with bathroom will cost more ( just refering to another but similar name) - even he has almost no guests in the rooms. It is so diffucult to write upfront " i have another room with rhese extra costs " , right ?🤔 When we háve arrived no welcoming and assist at all. Just arrogantly insisting about paying 60 lv extra (not even willing to take Euro) Ok we have spent one night even with dangerous window on floor and really uncomfortable beds and bad feelings. At the morning we wanted to discuss with host about possible cancelation or change. Not picking the phone from several numbers so we decided to leave . When finally he picked the phone. He was simply arrogant and not discussing at all. Complete lack of emphaty . So he insisted to charge full amount. But on another day when we wanted qe wanted to return keys. It was deactivated and could not enter !! Even charging full amount !!!! Not picking phone and door ring. We left the keys in post box. Later he wrote that we took another keys which was completely nonsens !!!! And started to to blame us how cheeky family, insolent guests and liars and we left without notice... Really "nice attitude" from host after all i have described above... So in case you will not try solve issues with host and will accept his attitude, intolerance and lack of emphaty you can be satisfied with your stay there But in case you have some issues you need a god on your side !! We never met such a unoplite man and he is providing bad renome about Bulgarians. ( and we travel a lot) But host seesm likes nice references on google and bookings and expecting only superlatives 😎. Bad reaction he is commenting immediatelly with his attitude - you can check other reaction here. Unfortunatelly he do not understand that he is getting what he gives. Seems modesty is not know by him...Money and his satisfaction is more important then satisfaction of the guests.. Lets wait on creative and nice reaction on this feedback as well ;-) PS. You can visit for example Live&Sleep in Novi Sad and learn from host there how to approach and treat the guests...

The reason for this 1 star review is that Guest Rooms Plovdiv's staff is incapable of managing the bookings of its facilty properly. On July 9, 2021 I had booked a room at this place via Booking.com and instanatly received the standart confirmation. My trip was meant to happen for the weekend of the traditional Plovdiv Marathon (October 30-31), an annual event that usually brings a lot of sports-loving people to the city under the hills. On October 13, 2021 (that is over 3 months after I had made my booking) I got a call from # Guest Rooms Plovdiv's host informing me that the room was overbooked and that they are unable to host me. When aske how is that possible the only explanation I got was that bookings come in all possible ways (via phone and online) and such things just happen. I was then asked to cancelel my reservation on Booking.com. The experience left quite a bitter after-taste. For sure the result of that is 1) this negative review you read here and 2) a very unhappy client that would never recommend this place to any frineds or acquaintances. Truly, this is just not the right way to do business and I can only hope that you would no longer do such a terrible and sloppy job of serving your clients.

I made a reservation on booking.com which the hotel cancelled a few days before my trip becasue they were unable to charge my card (while i had chosen the option to pay when i arrive) without calling. Very unprofessional, i would definitely not book here again.

Btw: you are promoting a non stop reception service! Why is your answer to one of feedbacks below, that they called outside of your checking hours? Nice paradox, exactelly, as your aplroach! Avoid him!

Great location close to the singing fountains and the main street which leads you to the main tourist sights of the city. Small room. Good terrace. Air conditioning is working 😃

Located 5 minutes away from the city's famous Singing Fountains, the building has an air of history to it without seeming aged in any way. A beautiful wooden spiral staircase winds through the 3 floors, illuminated by a skylight at the top. The guest rooms also include a shared kitchenette/living room at the third floor where the hosts make fresh coffee every morning, which is a nice gesture. Right next to it is a dainty terrasse where you can enjoy your coffee with a view over the neighborhood. The room we were in was very spacey, with tall ceiling and a big window, overlooking the cobblestone street outside. All around, the building was well kept and very clean and there was no signs of wear on the furniture. The only fault we could find was that the bathroom door in our room was leaking a bit of water from the shower to the floor outside when closed, so we had to be more careful. The host is very friendly and helpful, though, so don't hesitate to ask questions if they arise. I definitely recommend the place and would like to return there if I were to visit the city again.

The place is very easy to find and it's just next to South and Rhodopi stations. A few minute walk to the old part of town. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. I was happy to stay there in general. Just mind that it's in the old building with stairs, so if you have a lot of baggage, you'll have to carry it. There's no elevator. We also missed the coffee in the morning :( I guess the fellow travelers drank it all. As the rooms are in the attic it can get hot. Thankfully, there's a full working AC. Recommended :)

Good location and within short walking distance to pedestrian street, restaurants, railway station and old town. A very clean guest house. Newly renovated and spacious room. Beds were comfortable. The owner was friendly and helped us to call taxi at early morning.

Quit nice hotel room with sharing bathroom. The owner was friendly as well, you can check in uncomplicated and easy. Plovdiv is a very nice city though.

Excellent location. Exceptional interior design and atmosphere. Service and from the host is at highest level needed also. Price is very good for this location. Definitely recommended!

Rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Free coffee and tea in the morning. Good location...close to the south bus station. Shared bathroom and only one bathroom on the floor. It was clean. Slow wifi. Love the wood paneling throughout. AC is a big plus.

Well restored old house with great location. Friendly staff, clean rooms, cheap price. Free and decent WiFi, coffee and tea available till noon. It is slightly noisy (located on paved street) but overall strongly recommended.

Very nice and clean room! The host is nice, friendly and explained the rules and features of the accommodation clearly! Would definitely recommend it! It also has a communal roof terrace that is nice and cosy!

Never again. Not surprised to see so many controversial comments. Unacceptable host behavior, check in was at six, we traveled from Greece and we were late to arrive at nine o clock, the rude host replied on the phone "your mistake.. I'm off duty now, come tomorrow morning". So we had to find another place for the night. The host never appeared in person but sent a lady to give the key the next day. Paid for all nights including the one we spent elsewhere, not even a discount for the discomfort. If you like how it looks then pass by and take a picture, but FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE to stay if you want to be sure you're not spending the night on the streets, They don't give a damn. Kindest way to put it.

Good for position of the place. And the service was good. Room was smelly and bathroom too. It wasn't king-size bed, even we pay extra for that.

Very nice guess house 🏠, good position, excellent management, perfect manager like I never ever meet in my experience of travelling, smiling 😁, respectful, listening, etc. I really recommend it... Thank you very much...
