We stayed at this pousada on a multi-day tour of the Pantanal, with birding being our primary purpose. It was pretty ideal in terms of the location. We arrived close to sundown and the huge tree with jabiru next (see photo) was silhouetted against the sunset. In the morning, we were surrounded by all kids of cool birds right outside our door. We went out by boat on the Rio Claro and had a fabulous morning. The meals were served buffet style, and - while nothing fancy - it was nice to have a variety of choices. The room was a bit cramped and the bathroom was adequate. There was a little fenced patio area off the room, which we didn't have a chance to use because we weren't there long enough. There is a pool but we didn't see anyone using it. It seems like typical eco-lodge style accommodations.

Great food, helpful staff, clean, comfortable. Our guide Juan and his driver were top notch! Lots of opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Don't expect to see the typical animals of the Pantanal here!!! Unfortunately we read too late what many had already written before and were therefore very disappointed. You don't get to see the typical animals of the Pantanal here (as already written, there was a big fire, so all the animals moved away). Of course, the pousada cannot be held responsible for this, but unfortunately you don't get the feeling that they are trying to compensate for this somehow. Our rooms were dirty and the dining area is uncomfortable. The food also leaves a lot to be desired compared to other pousadas. The only consolation: the boat tour, where the operators have really come up with something and you experience a few nice surprises (and also a few animals).

We stayed her with our tour guide, Rizardo Silva. It was an excellent place to stay! A super comfy bed, with strong wifi, hammocks in the shade, and a nice pool. The food was excellent with lots of options. We enjoyed staying at this property.

A large farm, decent stay with clean rooms and beds, check out is at 10 AM and check in is at 3 PM so keep this in mind as else you need to hang out till the rooms are made ready during rush days. Close to the river, optional horse riding need to book in advance, nice to watch different birds around the bird feeders. WiFi works only in the dining area, not sure if this place is for serious birding. We did a night safari and spotted crab eating foxes. Overall a nice stop over.

The food was fine. The swimming pool looks nice. The room is o.k. The river bout is amazing & the mornning walk is wonderful.

Accomodation in the Pantanal. Directly on Rio Claro River. It is a good starting point for many different activities like canoing, horse riding, boat tours etc.

excellent accomodation, clean pool, great food and friendly staff. only negative is the slow wifi.
