Stayed in a private room with shared restroom. It is like staying at a friend house. The place is cosy and super clean. The staffs are helpful and very friendly. If you want a place to get a good night sleep and to wake up with a good coffee. This is the place. Neighborhood is awesome. There a club that plays good jazz and pop music very closed just a2 minute walk from this hostel.

I could not recommend this place more if you're staying in Bangkok and looking for an upscale quiet hostel. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The room had clean linens and comfortable beds. The place itself is spotless and is beautifully decorated.

Amazing hostel. Ultra clean, great friendly service. They looked after my every need. You really need to experience the vibe here. It’s an incredibly cosy and unique place. I’ve traveled all over the world and this is the best hostel I’ve ever been to. It’s a very chill low key vibe. You’ve gotta try the coffee, and the breakfast is top notch. I highly recommend this place and I’ll be back!

The hostel is a mixture of wonderful boutique and retro style atmosphere. Owner himself will welcome you to enter the house with a broad smile. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You will feel at home right from the start. Rooms available are in traditional shared hostel style and also private small family rooms. The bathrooms are spacious, clean and bright. Overall very nice place to stay overnight. Definitely will come here again.

This is exactly the kind of place to stay that I was hoping to find in Bangkok. Beautiful building & fit out; quiet; friendly; clean; comfortable & with a lovely cafe. I really loved the design and atmosphere here! The breakfast is also very good. No big groups of drunk twenty year olds. The staff were also so kind and accommodating. Thank you so much Kanvela House!! I wish I could have stayed longer.

I was at Kanvela house for 3 nights, and has yet been the best hostel of all my trip in Thailand. It’s so much more than just a place to rest. The house is a beautiful GEM in crowded Bangkok, the staff are very friendly not to mention MAC, such a helpful and cute guy. Such a great taste in decor and music. Enjoyed tremendously the live jazz bands with good cocktails from the bar . Thankyou!!!

I wish every hostel could be like this one ! Had an excellent stay. Maybe the location is not always the best but it’s all compensated for by the beauty of the place :)

What a wonderful place to stay! The Hostel and Cafe are in a beautifully renovated old house which still has the charm of the old days. It is designed with so much passion for detail. Bathrooms are super clean and the rooms are very cosy with comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious and they also serve great coffee and cakes. The staff is so lovely that we felt as a part of the Kanvela house family after a few days. The location is close to many sights and there are some nice non-touristic places nearby like the local Nang Leong Market. I will definitely come again :)
