I have been in Bangkok for 48 years and that was my first time. The golden mountain was the highest construction in the city for 100 years. I imagine we can see chonburi mountain from here 100 years ago! Worth to visit

Great hostel, bedrooms were clean and tidy. Bathrooms were spot on and my group (5 people) got to keep the bathrooms to ourselves. There is a laundry service which you or the staff can do. Reception/staff are solid and helpful, and the location is nice (near 711 and some michilen recommended). highly recommend this place

Really nice hostel. Clean. Beds have curtain and light and charge socket. Friendly comfortable atmosphere. However there was a bit of noise after midnight but that's what you expect from a hostel. Curtains at the beds make it easy to sleep. pretty secure as key cards allow access into rooms. As a solo female traveller I enjoyed my short stay here and I would recommended to others. Easy to meet other travellers here too if you stay in a dorm. Also it is right next to The Golden Temple and it's within walking distance of many Street food stalls etc. Plenty to see/do in the near area.

Clean and recently renovated hostel at the heel of the Golden Mountain. The eating self-service room became too hot and it was not possible to sit there during the daytime. The best local streetfood and smoothies nearby!

Beautiful view of Bangkok, splendid Buddhist temples. I’ve seen a lot of tourists arriving and not being able to climb because they forgot to dress properly, so remember: no shorts or mini skirts, covered shoulders, no crop-top. Entrance: 50 baths per person Best to climb up in the morning or evening otherwise it’s very sun-exposed.

My friends and I stayed in a private room here and had such a great experience. It's super clean and the staff is very very friendly. They even let us check in early so we would have a place to put our luggage. The AC was great and the decor was super cute and the hostel is in a perfect location and within walking distance within the good stuff but not in a "touristy" part of town. The only negative thing was while the tile in the bathroom is super beautiful, it's VERY slippery when wet so just be careful when you're taking a shower. I fell pretty hard haha. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

Excellent hostel. Very private rooms, with curtains for each bed. Ambience was peaceful. Staff was quite rude though

Perfect private room. Clean and cold AC. Just what we needed for a single night stay in Bangkok. Floors in bathroom are slippery so just be careful!

To reach this temple you'll need to climb over 300 steps and it's all worth it! The entrance fee is only 50 baht

Not that much space for luggage in the room itself but the beds are clean with fresh sheets and towels. The A/C is a godsend and the staff is very friendly!

It’s a little way up by steps, but defenately worth it! Nice view over Bangkok plus there is a Coffee Shop halfway up.

👍👍 Nice, friendly staff and clean spaces. I really enjoyed my stay at REST IS MORE hostel. It was just what I wanted, but really if you are on a budget I would recommend this hostel. Before I arrived at the hostel, I was thinking I might not like it, and might move to a hotel after the first night but...
