Growing
up,
my
biggest
weakness
was
my
willpower
(or
lack
thereof).
I've
always
had
large
goals,
but
a
weak
drive
to
chase
them.
I
was
a
product
of
routine
and
stayed
in
my
safe
little
comfort
zone.
Joining
the
Clinch
team
changed
that.
The
intense
work
ethic
that
I
gained
from
training
in
Muay
Thai
and
Brazillian
Jiu
jitsu
with
Sal
and
the
crew
not
only
helped
me
learn
to
become
a
skilled
fighter,
but
also
taught
me
what
it
takes
to
improve
myself...Sal
motivated
us
to
keep
fighting
through
the
excuses,
to
get
rid
of
our
negative
attitudes,
and
most
importantly,
to
get
us
comfortable
with
being
uncomfortable.
Before
joining
clinch,
I
was
just
a
first
year
college
student
that
had
no
idea
what
hard
work
and
dedication
meant.
I
drifted
from
day
to
day
in
a
daze
doing
my
comfortable
routine
of
lectures,
homework,
and
surfing
the
internet...The
routine
was
stagnating
my
mind
and
led
me
to
be
inactive,
lazy,
and
unmotivated.
Training
in
Muay
Thai
helped
me
break
out
of
that
habit.
I
was
taught
to
work
with
the
other
martial
artists
in
reaching
a
common
goal;
self
development.
Everyone
who
trains
in
martial
arts
does
so
to
become
a
better
person
in
some
way
shape
or
form,
and
the
clinch
environment
helped
me
evolve
into
an
adult
more-so
than
any
university
class
I've
taken
ever
has.
My
comfort
zones
were
pushed
with
each
training
session
and
every
single
day
that
I
trained,
I
told
myself
"I'm
so
glad
I
spent
my
day
training
than
rotting
in
my
computer
chair"
I
attribute
the
mental
discipline
I
attained
at
Clinch
to
the
success
I've
found
in
my
career,
personal
relationships,
and
the
general
problems
life
loves
to
throw
in
my
direction.
A
man
with
discipline
and
willpower
is
able
to
shape
his
life
according
to
his
own
standard.
I
would
not
have
learned
these
two
key
skills
if
not
for
Clinch,
and
I
strongly
recommend
that
anyone
who
feels
that
they
are
stagnating
would
join
Clinch
