My daughters and I stayed her for our annual Fall Girls Trip. We loved it, from check-in to check-out. We were given complimentary champagne at check-in, and we were even upgraded to a river view room with a balcony! All the employees were wonderful. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. My daughters loved all the gems/crystals. There was also beautiful artwork throughout the property. We enjoyed the restaurants, the pool, the entertainment, all of it. We also loved watching the cargo ships and the tugboats going by! The only negative was the shower...very low water pressure. Other than that, it was amazing. We were also very close to hop on the trolley to tour Savannah. Great trip!

The JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District offers a delightful stay with a solid four-star rating. The highlight of our visit was the stunning river view that added a touch of tranquility to our mornings. Waking up to such picturesque scenery was a memorable aspect of our experience. Additionally, the hotel's prime location in close proximity to downtown attractions, restaurants, and entertainment venues made exploring the vibrant city effortless. The accessibility to key points of interest enhanced our overall stay and showcased the hotel's strategic positioning for those eager to immerse themselves in Savannah's charm. While our experience was highly positive, the fifth star is reserved for truly exceptional moments. The JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District impresses with its luxurious amenities, excellent service, and the added charm of a riverside setting. It stands out as a four-star destination that caters to both leisure and exploration, providing a comfortable and convenient retreat in the heart of Savannah.

They allow pets!!!! The girls loved their visit! No, seriously, I love this hotel. Hydration station with flat and sparkling water. Staff is helpful and courteous. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything is within walking distance. I do wish there were fridges that work in the rooms and the air conditioning drop below 66. It felt like it never got cool, but that's just me.

We booked JW Marriott in Savannah for my husband’s 40th. We were looking forward to the trip, but ultimately found ourselves extremely disappointed with the level of service. First, our comforter was covered in dried blood. We called down to the front desk requesting a clean comforter and they promised a visit from housekeeping. Two hours later, nothing. Called again, promised to send someone. Nothing. Finally went down to the front desk and waited in line to talk to the one person working the front desk. Showed her the pictures and once again she assured me we’d be visited by a housekeeping manager immediately. 30 minutes later a housekeeper came up alone and I helped her change the comforter. Days later when we checked out we were charged an extra $1000 dollars. It took over three weeks and multiple emails and calls to finally get them to figure out their mistake and refund us. This came after 3 different emails telling us they couldn’t locate the charge and that we were mistaken and basically out of luck. Finally we got a hold of the right person who investigated it and figured out the accidental charge. They reversed it but we never received any follow up from management or apologies for the mistake and the amount of time and effort it took to get refunded. We spent over $3000 with JW Marriott for a very special milestone trip and we were not at all wowed and certainly did not feel like a valued guest. I’ve been loyal to Marriott for many, many years but definitely feel differently after this experience.

The JW Marriott is an exceptional vacation home away from home! I enjoyed every minute of my stay there. The room was huge, very clean and delightful! I felt like I was in Barbados. The room was located by the pool area, giving it the excellent villa vibes that I so enjoyed. The staff is always great at the JW! Valet parking is always great! The museum and many restaurants are also wonderful in this amazing hotel. I enjoyed my experience with being able to walk on the boardwalk downtown Savannah as everything is extremely accessible.

Our stay during Christmas time was wonderful ! Thalia at the front desk is awesome! she is so sweet and was very kind to our family . Our room was right in front of the river and was cool for the kids because boats constantly passed by. My children got so happy each time they were able to wave to them. The front desk will give u daily credits to use for food at the property as well as boutique credit . They have 24hr room service which is great because most places close early in the area. Housekeeping kept our room tidy and clean . Our family loves it here .

Everything about this stay was perfect from start to finish. The views from the room were phenomenal, and the location can’t be beat. Everyone comes from other hotels to walk around at this one. Service was outstanding, from check-in(I think Mellisa/Melinda was her name), Brandon who helped us with our bags, and we had a great bartender at the Mexican restaurant, Jacob. Can’t wait to come back!

I had a wonderful stay! The location, scenery and friendliness of the staff was great. At the front door "James Bellmun" was so very friendly and helpful. He repeatedly assisted me and welcomed me back with each return. Please recognize his great service. He is a wonderful ambassador for your hotel.

My husband and I were spoiled!! We visited this hotel during our anniversary week celebration. Once we arrived the help desk assistant made us aware our room was upgraded complimentary with a balcony! Also, the day of our anniversary we left for the spa that morning and returned with champagne and orange juice waiting for us in our room! There was also a sweet note from the concierge team, wishing us a happy anniversary. Kudos to the entire staff! From housekeeping to the valet team and bellmen! Everyone gave stellar customer service! This hotel is worth it! I prefer top notch service and my expectations were met!

Great spot, great food, great rooms… we enjoyed our stay and plan on returning! First, I’m impressed that the hotel restaurants all stand on their own- every meal was fantastic! The staff was all friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome. The only issue we had was that the text feature for valet didn’t work- we either got an error message, or the time estimate was way off. That being said, it was definitely a system error and not one on the part of the valet staff. They were exceptionally friendly and did their best to remedy the issue! An on-site highlight for us was definitely the pool, particularly the service! It was our first outing with our little one so we were nervous, and Alexis made everything so wonderful! You don’t meet many people as genuinely kind and positive as Alexis, and he provides our entire family with superb service! We will be back soon and we’re hoping to catch him again! (We went two days in a row, and would have a third if not for rain). Overall, this is a great stay downtown and we will be back!

Nice hotel, nice area. Massive disappointment everything is dead by 10pm. We called ahead to make sure there was food option and the concierge assured us that all food was available until 11pm as well as all the food along riverside etc. We arrived hit Baobab by 945 waitress came to help us and said the kitchen was closing... she told us everything closes around 10pm... so, sucks. Just drove in from Tampa and no food what so ever... room service menu extremely limited literally two salads and a turkey club was the only option.... Would say for a 5 star hotel there should be more options ....
