I had never been to this location. It wasn't bad. The food was pretty similar to other locations. The place was a mausoleum though and the staff, while pleasant, didn't really change that feeling.

We came for Sunday Brunch and was seated immediately. The ambience is warm with beautiful deco, columns and lighting. There are TV screens around should you come during a game or you can sit comfortably at the bar. Unfortunately they ran out of Oktoberfest Lager so I went with an Alesmith which was a great choice to go with the raw oysters. The oysters themselves were on the smaller side but delicious. The Brig House salad is hands down one of the best salads we’ve had. Fish & Chips were crisp, crunchy and meaty just as a classic British style should be. The kids cheeseburger I heard from our little one was done properly with a nice serving of fruits. The staff is courteous and friendly and know most of the locals. This is a nice spot in Poway that is worth the try when you’re in the area or want to hangout while watching the game.

delicious selections (prime rib, halibut, octupus, ahi)…though the waitress was a little pushy with selling the wine..first batch of raw oysters were very malnourished, 2nd batch was normal - both fresh.

Came in with family. Large group, 10 people. Server was professional and patient. Not my first time at the Brigg, but always nice to come back. I had the burger, customized to my liking. Food came out hot and prepared /presented nicely. We will be back , thanks for

Ordered the cioppino! It was delicious, not the best I’ve had (broth could have been a bit less thick, larger clams and better quality seafood). However, for $19 you are getting a nice bowl of soup with lots of veggies and fish. The price is less than a shrimp cocktail there for $20.

Pretty good meal! We started with the coconut macadamia shrimp (highly recommend!) Husband had the pork chops, which he really enjoyed, and I had the sage brined chicken. My only recommendation is more fingerling potatoes and less carrots for the side.

This was my first time at the newly remodeled Brigantine in Poway. The updated interior of the bar area is particularly nice. We made it in time for Happy Hour. The margaritas were outstanding. This was also Taco Tuesday. The Tacos are nicely prepared and quite good. The amount of fish in my taco could have been made into two separate tacos. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.

I only had Oysters on the ½ shell, but they were sweet, tasty and fresh. The bartender, Mat, was courteous, attentive and his martini perfect. The atmosphere friendly, tasteful decor and should I find myself back in Poway, I'll be sure to go back and enjoy... AGAIN!

This location was newly renovated. I was impressed by the clean and inviting ambiance of the restaurant. The menu offers a diverse range of options. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were expertly balanced. Whether you're a fan of seafood, steak, or vegetarian cuisine, you'll find something to delight your taste buds. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable on items on the menu. The timing of each course was perfect, and we never felt rushed and made it just in time for our movie. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual night out, you won't be disappointed.

The new remodel is nice, could be a warmer atmosphere...Happy hour, $7 apps and $7 glasses of wine... that sounds good, but here, for the wine, it seems they short pour or only pour 4-5 oz, when many restaurants have and should have a 6 oz. pour, some are a bit more... and here they put the red wine in a white wine glass, which is small and makes the volume appear larger, but inhibits the breathing of the wine. (a blunder, in my opinion). It would be nice if they would improve this. The calamari and the tacos were very good. The Oysters, for happy hour are 3 for $7, which is way wrong when others have $1 oysters... I don't mean to be harsh, but...it is what it is...I'll still go back, probably.

The Poway location just finished remodeling and it looks great, very light and fresh. Food and service are as good as always. One thing I would like to see is more grilled fish options. Some of the recipes are lightly battered with a wonderful sauce, which seems almost too rich.

Were treated to Sunday brunch. Had swordfish which was perfectly cooked. Top shelf margarita was strong and very good. Go there expecting to pay. Prices were high but well worth it. Appreciate our friends treating us.

The recent renovation makes for a more modern setting. Service is outstanding. Food is ok. Some dishes were really good, others were lacking. Cocktails were inconsistent too. Overall a nice evening with friends.

The remodel is great and service for food and drink was also great however, we have a 7 month old and quickly found out that there are zero baby changing tables in the restaurant. When I came out of the bathroom holding the baby I had to interrupt the reception girls chatting to ask about it and they just said they didn’t know, sorry. I had to change the baby in the car and then asked our server and he also said he didn’t know. Obviously no one could make a baby changing station appear but I’m pretty sure it’s a violation not to have one and no one seemed concerned or interested in escalating or looking in to it. It was just a “sorry”. Unfortunately, knowing there are no changing tables we won’t be coming back with the baby, if at all.

It is mostly all sea food. My step dad loves the 🌮 fish tacos. I for one really Brussel sprouts and my little girl (9m old) really enjoyed her clam Chowder. The only thing they were missing were changing tables in the restroom

Love the NEW REMODEL!! GREAT JOB BRIG!!! The place looks amazing, and the tacos are still bomb!! So far, I have gotten the fish and chips, tacos, oysters, and a couple peppered vodka oyster shooters!! The shooters are unreal!! So good! Service has been awesome, and the atmosphere is great. I think they did a wonderful job with the remodel!

Service was excellent as well as the food. Great happy hour menu. After the remodel, we found that you had to talk very loud as there was so much noise. Something should be fine regarding the acoustics. Otherwise, everything was great!

Well done to the chefs and waitstaff. The recent Brigantine makeover offers a lighter and cozier atmosphere. The noise level at peak dining time seems high due to the new flooring and ceiling. Wonderful, tasty small plates! Fresh shucked oysters were top notch. We skipped the legendary dessert (this time.)

We came with my friend to have a nice and quick dinner before the planned event to a nearly empty restaurant and were waiting for 20(!!!) minutes for a server to take our order. All this time we observed how the party of 10 near us is gathering together, how the server is clearly prioritizing their order before ours, picking up their order, sending it to the kitchen, and how our chances to get some food before we need to go were disappearing. Also the place is outdated and needs to be renovated years ago. Such an awful service and awful atmosphere, can’t recommend to anyone

We went to lunch here and we were pleased with our experience! The food was great and Ethan, our server, was phenomenal! We shared the special which included seafood, rosetto and vegetables as it was a very large portion! Please come in and ask to be seated in Ethan's section as he will take great care of you and your party for lunch or dinner!

Good food but most of it is flooded with condiments. Quick service but they are also quick to let you know you should leave to empty the table for the next customers. Not so pleasant. I think this is a chain restaurant with a bit higher prices. Not bad but not too good. I would say medium experience.

Dinner and dessert and the food was fantastic with Very large portions. However I shouldn't have let them seat us in the bar area. Couldn't hold a conversation. Would have been nice had they asked. Will probably give them another shot, but will insist on being seated in the restaurant, not the bar.

Monday is happy hour all day at this place. My husband and I sat at the bar and ordered their happyhour mules, it’s pretty nice. I won’t say it’s amazing, but for that price, I would not complain anything. We also had the raw oysters, sliders and salad. My favorite was the salad, it’s great taste with nice amount of cheese, nuts and dried berries. Maybe we will come back to try other things in soon future.

Though these aren't the best fish tacos I've had in San Diego, they're still on PAR with the quality you expect in the area. Crispy, zesty, quality fish, stable tortilla. The salad was actually the show stealer. The combo of berries and nuts with the dressing... It was a ridiculously good salad. Service was decent but not stellar. She was prompt, and that's good enough.

Kind of more bar ambience, dark for a seafood restaurant. But the food was pretty good, reasonable prices. The fish taco with Alaskan fish, though fried, tasted pretty good with texture. The shrimp and crab salad also had lots of fresh greens and large shrimps.
