Fantastic cocktails bar right off the main tourist drag. The bartenders (Samir and I believe Fay? Or something like that) were very attentive and friendly and gave good suggestions to my preferences. Went here twice on my trip and would come again if I'm ever in PV again.

If you’re looking for high end cocktails in a cool environment, this is the place. The cocktails are very creative and complex and every one we tried was delicious. The atmosphere felt like a speakeasy in the jungle. The staff was great and service was quick. Prices were expensive but fair for the quality of the drinks. 10/10 recommend this place!

Stumbled across this place quite by accident when we spotted some people go through a mysterious door covered in plants! What an absolute gem of a place. Had the pleasure of meeting Alex, one of the owners, and I have to say he and the team have put together a really special place here. The bar staff are exceptional, mixing perfect cocktail after perfect cocktail. The DJs (I think we saw 3 over the course of the night) were all exceptionally talented and had the dance floor buzzing. And the vibe created by the roofless area, surrounded by lush greenery, where you can dance the night away under the stars was fantastic! HIGHLY recommend.

Exceptional! The people here must have a Masters Degree in Drinks. The flavors in the drinks made us come back several times while vacationing. The vibe is so right even if u just stop in and get one drink. I wanna try their food but I end up trying 5 different drinks. Perfect,

My husband and I went here tonight and my biggest regret is that we were too full from an earlier dinner to fully enjoy the drink menu. The drinks and ambiance were excellent - such a cool place tucked away right off the main road with great music and mood. Service was top notch. Hope to get back soon!

We came across this great bar during our visit. It was a hidden gem that had a speakeasy vibe & delicious cocktails. Our waiter was Juan & he took great care of us. He knew the menu extensively & was able to recommend drinks based on our preferences. He even made a drink off the menu for our boyfriend. 10/10 would recommend & come back next time!

From aesthetic to drinks, el Colibri is top tier. The only thing that surpasses their drinks is their customer service which speaks volumes. Juan and Azalia are the best. A must stop regardless of where you are traveling from. Their carajillo is a 12/10

My partner and I were given the very best recommendation from our Airbnb host Alan. He sent us the address of a bar called El Colibri (meaning hummingbird). We were immediately impressed upon entering the speakeasy-like door covered in greenery. Inside I giggled at the "welcome to the jungle" neon sign. To the left was a bar with an impressive offering of cocktail ingredients and mood lighting. We were seated by our handsome cool server Juan in the open courtyard lined with tropical plants and upholstered bench seating. Samir, our bartender at El Colibri made us craft cocktails that were as good as any we've had. Jaun made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our experience and along with the excellent cocktails brought local fresh food. We will be back.

Super cool place! Went with a large group to the 4 foot attic area. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. The service was good and the server came up the stairs to be sure we all stayed hydrated😃

This speakeasy was such a great experience. The vibe of the atmosphere could be a good date night or out with some friends, such a beautiful space. Best hidden gem of a bar in Vallarta. Unbelievable atmosphere. Great drinks, awesome service and seriously good music including a DJ from Thursday. If you haven’t been to this place, you are missing out.

A diamond of a cocktail bar in the heart of puerto Vallarta. Extensive menu with well crafted cocktails that aren’t your standard fare. Very few classics, though I’m sure you could order one. My partner had a “Riki Tiki” which she described as an alcoholic coconut milk shake and the best tiki drink she’s ever had (talks about it daily) and I had the house Negroni that was also incredible. Nice spin on the original. Overall, loved this place. Juan, our server, was very helpful and provided very friendly service. If I get the opportunity I will absolutely return. Thank you!!

We held a pre wedding event at El Colibri and our group couldn’t stop raving about how great everything was. The cocktails and service were fantastic and Alex was so easy to work with. We even extended our time because everyone was having so much fun. I couldn’t recommend this place more. 10/10!

This review is long overdue but very well-deserved. We’ve been to dozens of cocktail bars around the world but this one takes the cake for flavour, atmosphere, originality and just all-around coolness. The staff was so nice to us each time we went there (we visited 4 times in the last half of our week-long vacation), giving us incredible drink recommendations and taking our nightly photo for us! My favorite drink (possibly in the world) was the Paradise - never had anything like that before! Thank you for your hospitality and incredible drinks! We’ll be back! 🍹

An amazing and genuine bar in Puerto Vallarta. The drinks are delicious- not sweet, very refreshing. The staff working there are very nice and have great recommendations! I didn't realize until later that their patio is not covered! So cool- you can see the stars while drinking mezcal. Though I was there on a calm Monday night, everyone says the weekends are super fun with tons of energy and a DJ. (Wish I stayed in PV longer!) Eduardo, Juan, Gabriela, Abraham - you all made my night!!!!

We expected something nice based on the reviews, but when the hostess greeted us as soon as we exited our Uber and opened a large mysterious door, we knew we found a real treasure. The ambiance feels very well designed and on trend. Our waiter, Juan, was very helpful and even helped my non drinking boyfriend with some tasty alcohol free concoctions. On Fridays and Saturdays they have a dj and dancing possible. 10/10 bar

Great cocktail bar! Highly recommend coming by and checking it out if you’re in PV. Make sure to make a reso if you plan to stay of the DJ set. Music volume was perfect. We were able to still talk with everyone at the table. Interior and vibes were amazing

Got a reso here day of for NYE. Having enjoyed cocktail bars in Asia, Europe, and the US, and having been to the place right across the street the night before, my expectations were quite low. However, once we arrived to this cutie little speakeasy style bar, the service and beverage quality far exceeded expectations. The staff here was friendly, service was quick, and the drinks were just delicious. We even asked if we could go out and see the fireworks on the street and come back and they allowed it. Definitely recommend this spot if you want a nice house music vibe with good drinks but in a spacious open air environment.

One of the best spots I've been for cocktails (anywhere, not just Puerto vallarta). My friend and I both love making and drinking cocktails and between us tried 8 of their creations. Each one was nicely balanced and hit all the right notes. Paradise was the standout for me but you can't go wrong.

The best cocktail lounge in Puerto Vallarta! The place is super cute! It’s a whole vibe! The Dj jammed! Great drinks! Friendly Staff! The entire El Colibri team treated us like royalty. They made sure we had everything we needed and made it their goal to make sure we enjoyed ourselves! I definitely plan on going back!!! I highly recommend!

Great cocktail bar! It's hidden behind an old store front and as you get in you find yourself in an jungle oasis of really nice surprising cocktails. The drinks are amazing, the service is great and the club/lounge music adds to the whole atmosphere. Would truly recommend!

Service was amazing, but cocktails just missed the mark. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait at a high top in the entryway for 45 minutes until a table opened up.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a cocktail bar different from the ones on the malecón and we found el colbri. Such a cool vibe after you walk through the second door into the beautiful bar and courtyard (with a retractable roof!). The bartenders Abraham, Natalia, and Juan were hella friendly and had great service. No food on Mondays but the music was great and there are DJs on the weekend. 10/10 coming back if not for the drinks or vibe, to hang with the bartenders and servers.

LOVED this place and so happy to find it. Delicious cocktails with a fun vibe including and open air roof so it’s nice and breezy. Juan was so nice and educated us about all the nuances of every cocktails. Don’t miss it ! We are already planning on popping back in later this week!

It has a great vibe and some solid craft brews and really friendly staff. Also features a retractable roof which was awesome cause we had a little Charlie Brown cloud roll through and dump some rain but then they opened the roof back up once it passed by. They also have some tasty speciality cocktails. We will definitely go back to this great little spot. Parking is a bit of an issue so it's easiest to just grab an Uber or Taxi. Besides you are there for some drinks so it's the smarter option anyway. I'm told they also have live music, they didn't the night we were there but it would be a neat spot to catch a live show. Overall it's worth the trip to grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere
