This is a hub for Water Taxis and Fishing trips. It's busy but a tourist viewing platform with seats is higher up and wheelchair accessible! We actually fish off the lower part of the pier and give the fish away to locals and children! Tons of fun and lits of restaurants around the area!

Beautiful modern pier in Playa Los Muertos. Most boat tours depart from here. It has lots of benches around to unwind. From here, there is an amazing view of Zona Romantica, the beach and the waterfront.

It really is so pretty, just like the photos. We went during sunset which was the perfect time. Not super crowded but there were definitely a good amount of people there.

Alot of restaurants along the walk. There is a sitting area around to just enjoy the view. There is a beach around it, So you can swim. Alot of vendors and boats for everything from tours to just a ride.

Good place to see Puerto Vallartas. Beach is usually not busy at all. A lot of people pass by, but most end up leaving doing a bit of sightseeing. Some people fish towards the bottom.

A definite must stop location in PV. Cold cerveza, good margariras, excellent view, and the flaming coffee was excellent.

Thank you for reading the Honest Reviews4u! This is a scenic walk around a structure that looks like a sail of a sail boat great place to rest and see the ocean and city. This place is better visited at night with the night lights. However during the day you can have fun in the beach and eat at any of the multiple restaurants located are this area. Highly recommend this place! 👍🏼

It is such a beautiful Landmark for Puerto Vallarta. Love to come here as often as possible. For a swim or just exploring or just to see the amazing people with their smiles.

The bridge is falling apart, the food we had was below average, the drinks were EXPENSIVE WITH LITTLE TO A DROP OF ALCOHOL IN THEM. The beach its self is nice, but we had our snorkeling and waterfall trips canceled so we paid $60 USD to sit at a beach that only offered benches to sit on. I do not recommend this tour. The way there the female staffer spoke for nearly 40 minutes straight! Over the loud speakers so we couldn’t even enjoy the ride over. The only fun time was on the way back and they had karaoke which was the highlight of a 8 hour day!

Nice to go watch the sunset and spend time until dark. You feel the life of vibrant Puerto Vallarta watching from the dock.

  • 4/5 Alan H. 5 months ago on Google
Lots people there. But you can see the shoreline view from this pier that extends into the ocean.

Such a wonderful attraction in Puerto Vallarta. Right on the Malecon at the beach, this is a great view point. There are very nice sunsets from here and a popular place for locals to dive off of. Nice place for swimming and a great place to get your vacation pictures. It is a busy pier but big enough that you can find yourself a place on the rail to people watch. A must see when you are in PV

They have been working extensively on the pier providing upgrades which were needed. Benches were broken and railings in disrepair but the city of Puerto Vallarta is working hard and it appears almost complete. A great place to come and watch the kids fish or jump off into the water. Just a great place to chill out and find your Zen.

Beautiful pier that offers a fantastic view of Puerto Vallarta bay, beach and surrounding mountains. It's a good place for people watching or just sitting back and listening to the sounds of the ocean.

One of the most beautiful place in Puerto Vallarta, you can go eat, walk around, buy stuff, take a boat or just enjoy the beach and swim. Be careful with people selling you stuff, and pay an extra attention to your stuff when you are there. You can also take boat from here as taxi to go a remote place towards the south

Fun public beach. Muchos lugares para cervezas 🍻 Looks like the pier is still under construction..

A must tourist stop, that is getting old and in need of maintenance. But it is a great people watching place and a jump off point for water taxis and sports fishing,

Definitely a place to go visit this is where all the boats take off lots of people but definitely a good time

  • 5/5 S. M. 1 year ago on Google
Lots of constant pressuring from braids ladies, silver selling, donut sales, fruit selling, mobile musicians, beach wraps, oyster selling. Just be pleasant, patient and be prepared to say "No Gracias" frequently, if you are not interested.

A nice view point to see along the coast. It's also a great spot for families to come and cool off in the sea. Work was being done to repair parts of the pier so you couldn't get access to all of it, but it was still great to go and see.

Very nice landmark good views. It could get crowded but night time is best for a quiet stroll and night photography.

It is a wonderful place to make a rest. You have a outstanding view out there. You see all the hustle and bustle of los muertos beach from the waterside.

It is been repaired now and do not know when they Will finish, but it is Amazing! From it You could see the most beautiful sunset... It is a piece of art... An iconic place that everyone should Visit, while vacationing in Puerto Vallarta!

The iconic Pier is where you can catch a water taxi to the southern beaches, get on a fishing boat, or watch the sunset over the bay. Beautiful!

Great place to visit. You could rent a boat to take you to other little beaches around the area.

  • 5/5 Nancy L. 2 years ago on Google
Definitely a tourist attraction (I mean In a good way) it has a beautiful view and more with the sunset, at night with the color lights on and is also the doc for the boat wich takes you to Yelapa and towns around. Some local people (mostly kids) jump from the high of the pier to the water, it looks fun and it seems like it wasn't the first time the do this.

  • 5/5 Sapat L. 2 years ago on Google
You will never miss this structure when you walk to this area. Unique and modern and a very good area to see people swimming and jumping to the water. One of the highlights of the pier.

This one of the most picturesque places on earth. The sunsets are spectacular and the sky colors are awesome.

A big monument and lookout area in a delightful and lively beach. Playa Los Muertos is a city beach, where locals and tourists alike can go to enjoy some time on the sand. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the muelle offers a great meeting point and place to watch the many small boats navigate around the bay.

  • 5/5 Scott P. 2 years ago on Google
We have seen this pier many times but never walked out. This tie we did and the views are spectacular. You can catch a water taxi which I didn't know until now.

  • 5/5 Bill O. 2 years ago on Google
I love walking along the beach and seeing this place from way down the beach, but the view from the pier is amazing! It's just another example of why Puerto Vallarta is such a beautiful place!

  • 5/5 Erick J. 1 year ago on Google
Really nice area on the Melacon boardwalk… great place to watch the fishermen reel in a catch on their boat or catch a water taxi to a remote beach area…

  • 5/5 Dale M. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful pier. Great place to take in the view of Puerto Vallarta . Recommend a visit.

  • 4/5 Michelle B. 2 years ago on Google
It was a neat little detail to see. The water was nice. I hated to even walk and enjoy this site you get bombarded with people trying to sell you things who do not take "no thank you" for an answer. There wasn't much shade and on top of the pier is where they book tours or pay for a tour their about to board down below so the lines may interfere with photo shoot or just plain sitting and taking the view in for a moment. There are some cute sites to see in the area but when you have traveled many places 5 stars is a stretch. Even if there was a sunset.

  • 3/5 The E. 2 years ago on Google
It was just a bird pooped swirly structure. Vendors are respectful when you say no gracias. Cool enough place to visit for under 3 minutes. People hangout by the bench and tourists go around in circle. Water was oiled and dirty because of the nearby boat dock.

  • 5/5 Brenda F. 2 years ago on Google
El Muelle looks absolutely beautiful at night with the sound of the ocean. At night, it tends to get a bit chillier so I would recommend you take a sweater or light jacket.

  • 5/5 Tony D. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place to enjoy a sunset. Sturdy (easy to walk on). Well (and colorfully) lit at night.

  • 5/5 Peter L. 2 years ago on Google

  • 5/5 Dan H. 1 year ago on Google
Nice beach, lots of action. You rent a boat there by the hour. Very friendly people. Highly recommend

  • 5/5 Carsten B. 2 years ago on Google
A beautiful spot to take in the scenery and people watch. If you come early in the morning, you can watch the town wake up with restaurants getting ready to open for business, fishermen readying their boats and joggers getting fit. In the afternoon, you can see the sun seekers and thrill seekers on the banana boats. A fun place to take it all in.

  • 5/5 Rich H. 1 year ago on Google
Lots of family, many different places for drinks and fun in the sun. Some with swimming pools if the ocean is too much to swim in.
