The advertisement says they are fully renovated and they are not. They're in the process and we had to change rooms because of noise! Also had plumbing issues and a hard time getting wash clothes. And we purchased an all inclusive package only to find out there are limitations on that as far as what drinks you can get, mainly the wine selections.and you only get one of the restaurants. The bar and restaurant staff did provide excellent service however. Once all the construction is done it'll be much better. I'd give it a 3 star rating for now ! Possibly a 4 when it's complete.

Had such a memorable visit and stay here. Eat. Beach. Pool. Spa. Repeat. That pretty much sums up my visit and I enjoyed every minute of it. I opted for the all-inclusive. It was offered as an ad-on when I checked in. I guess I missed it when I first made reservations online. I can't quite remember the amount, but it seemed like a reasonable cost considering all the food and drinks. Pools are highly occupied. I mostly relaxed in the 'adult' (keeping in mind that adult means 18 and up) pool which is the one adjacent to the spa and closest to the beach. It's a small pool, but large enough to stretch out, relax, and socialize with others. Food at the restaurant is buffet style and quality was good enough, but nothing to write home about. Drinks were flowing and made to order. I have to say that the spa was excellent! From the outside, it appeared to possibly be a tourist trap, but I ended up splurging and booked a 90-minute Deep Tissue with no regrets! I get massages regularly and the skill of my therapist was exceptional. I left truly relaxed and my body felt immediately thankful. Front Desk service was mediocre. I felt neglected upon check in, as the queue wasn't managed well and I felt like other guests cut the line and the employees seemed to cater to folks who appear to be Spanish-speaking. Perhaps I wasn't being aggressive enough, but I expect proper service and to be acknowledge should be standard. My room was a bit.dated, but it felt authentic. I made these assumptions that the property would be a bit more modern than it was. It was comfortable enough and all basic needs were met. I never had an issue with the AC or plumbing. Location is top-notch. I will say that opting for the all-inclusive does deter you from exploring local area for food and drinks. I wish I explored the neighboring restaurants more because there's so much to check out if staying in this area. Everything is in close walking distance and depending on the weather, you can walk a bit further to explore different parts of Puerto Vallarta.

Pros - the location is fantastic, right in the center with pools and access to the beachfront. Great to walk out to the beach and relax or walk along the boardwalk. Cons - the rooms are old, they had ants around the sink, it's loud and someone had left their ring on the table so it just showed I am not sure how well they cleaned the property before they allowed us to check in. Furthermore, the cleaner forgot to give us enough towels when they were cleaning the room. For the price, I do not recommend unless all you need is location and access to the beach.

Have stayed here for over five years (2x a yr) this visit we are here for two weeks. I’m only going to focus on the unfortunate situation that occurred this evening after returning to the hotel from dinner. One very negative interaction with hotel security (2 individuals) that lasted only 10 minutes, have erased 5 years of OUR loyalty to Playa Los Arcos. Upon check in we were told because we are repeat guest that wearing the colored resort bracelets were optional. I questioned it twice because I wanted to make sure I understood. I was glad to hear it because who wants to wear a plastic bracelet for 2 weeks while on vacation. Keep in mind we have been in and out of the hotel all week at both the front and rear entrance, plus we had breakfast in the restaurant and spent hours at the pool. Not one time did any hotel employee question us on the bracelets. Tonight, we were stopped by two security officers questioning us on why we were at the hotel. Really? After giving our names and room number we were ask to go to the front desk and make sure our paper work was in order. This was not only embarrassing but totally unnecessary. One of the security guards was rude in how he approached us and totally disrespected us as long time hotel guest. Martha and Luz were at the front desk and reissued our bracelets. Never was I made to feel they valued me as a guest. Time to say goodbye after almost six years. I’ll also repost this on trip advisor.

The rooms were dated, but spacious, clean, comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, and fluffy towels. The all inclusive food and drink was fantastic. Dine in front of the ocean. Excellent variety of food changes daily. Never got bored of the food. And great drinks. I must comment though that Gladys, the hostess of the dining room should not be in the hospitality business. One crowded evening the head waiter seated us at a table in the dining room. After our drinks were served we eventually went to get our food. Upon returning to our table another party was sitting there. Gladys, the hostess, sat another party there, moved our drinks and possessions without our knowledge. We were guests of the hotel and this type of treatment by a hostess towards guests of the hotel is inexcusable. The wait staff seemed quite remorseful for their hostess’ poor behavior and were quite attentive the rest of our stay. The next day Gladys sat us at a table that had not been cleaned nor set. Except for that one individual we enjoyed our stay and recommend Los Arcos. A great location, clean rooms, excellent food. I suppose you cannot let one bad apple spoil the bunch.

Stay number three and we brought adult children with us this time to enjoy the experience.  Los Arcos is a locals experience. It is not the experience you’ll find at the area's tourist resorts. Stay here if you want to vacation local style. Playa Los Arcos is on a continuous journey of improvement. It’s a hotel that’s celebrating 50 years built in a historic area that never planned for such large impact on the infrastructure that they do not fully control. We had 5 rooms for this stay in different parts of the hotel. Each room had a different experience depending on where it was on the refurbishing of infrastructure or surfaces. All rooms were very clean. No room was perfect for the "US tourist" resort standard. The combination of location, service and atmosphere will continue to bring us back. Enjoy this lovely space and the people.

I loved this place. It has everything you need. The area around the hotel was so nice. Very safe and most people spoke English and Spanish. A lot of reviews mentioned the buffet, if you are a picky eater you will not like the buffet. It had actual meals prepared each day. I thought it was great. They do have snacks all day as well that included burgers, hot dogs, etc. This is also not a luxury hotel. Our room was perfect. AC worked great, mini fridge and shower. Beds were comfy. It has a traditional feel that makes this place unique. If you want luxury this is not the place. Still, it was absolutely amazing. The staff was so WONDERFUL. They were always checking on us in each pool and even at the beach. I cannot wait to go back here. Amazing quality for the price.

I had fun but I had booked a room overlooking the ocean and what I got was a room overlooking the Hotels on the side. When I told the front desk, their answer was; if i step outside and look towards the ocean thats ocean view. The hotel itself is outdated. House keeping was great. Front desk service needs a lot of work. Had all inclusive at the restaurant but the servers would only cater to certain people. I would not stay at this hotel again. I have been in Motels way better than this.

I was pretty lucky, when I got there we were checked in by Damien, and he was also the one that checked us out. This guy did a great job of making sure everything went off perfectly. I thought about how to do this review and what to really rate it. So I thought maybe what I should do is some pros and cons. Pros The location of this place was perfect. Being downtown was exactly what we were looking for, we have never stayed down here before but it was great to be downtown. A lot of people talked about the noise but it was just the sound of outside and people having fun. Our room was clean, and the hotel itself was fairly clean. The food for breakfast was always great. Lunch was a little different, but that’s fine you can always go out on the street and find something good. And I don’t think we had dinner there but one time and it was OK. Although these are the pro columns I still feel like there’s enough for everybody to like here. Now I have something that goes from the cons to the pros. Although our air conditioner was not working very well, they gave us a big fan for our room and that made everything so much better! We love sleeping with a fan and it kept the room plenty cool. So I feel like this was a big win for the guys at the front desk. All of the staff there was amazing, but that’s the same way at almost every place so you’re not gonna miss out. Cons The location is a little dated, but that’s OK it’s not enough to sway us from not coming back. The bed was a little hard, but we were able to make it work. And once I said the air conditioner in our room was not that good but they did make it right. A couple of the people we were traveling with had to change rooms once but the staff was more than accommodating. Once we all got settled in we had an amazing time. I would definitely come back to this place, it felt so authentic. Just a wonderful place to visit and the location is incredible. You can read the other reviews some of them are right some of them are a little embellished, but for the most part if you’re looking for a place that has everything downtown I don’t think you’re gonna be unhappy with this one.

Awful, awful, awful. Like staying on a mixture of a construction site and a loading dock (and a techno club at night). Didn't have a good night's sleep my entire stay. So much noise from all directions. Check in was painfully slow, just one person at reception. The rooms are small and in need of refurbishment (like everything else at the hotel). Our room smelled musty. Had to request "complimentary" water and an iron from the front desk as they were not in the room when we arrived. Our first morning we were woken at 8am by the maintenance staff plastering the walls right outside our room. Bizarre. Also had to listen to what sounded like someone drilling through the wall first thing in the morning. The restaurant has nice views but the food is average. The staff there don't seem interested in providing a good service, the bare minimum is acceptable here it seems. We lost power for about two hours one of the nights. The only good thing is the location which is close to bars and restaurants but they can get VERY noisy at nighttime. Los Arcos is certainly not worth the money we paid.

We had a very good experience at Los Arcos. The location is fantastic and the staff is very attentive. Yolanda Guerrero, the Concierge, was exceptional and helped us to change hotel rooms. At the time, the hotel was remodeling the older rooms and we were very depressed with the initial room we were assigned. Yolanda changed our room with diligence and attentiveness. She also helped us to book a fantastic day trip. Thank you, Yolanda, for the great service. You really made our stay at Los Arcos a fantastic experience.

We didn't stay at the hotel so I can't speak to the rooms but the staff was really friendly. We purchased a day pass for the pools and beach chairs. Part of the fee is returned as a credit towards your food and drinks on the beach. It is on a main part of the beach so you will have a lot of vendors come by but it'll be good practice to work on your Spanish lol. Getting the day pass was a good way to have a relaxing day with our friends that were in town. Get there a little before the beach club portion opens for your best seating as it does fill up quickly. Plenty of beach clubs to choose from but this one should be on your list as well

The outdoor space is quite nice, but the rooms are run down. It appears the owners are concerned with the exterior more than the rooms. Shower had no water pressure, air conditioner was very loud, passenger elevator out of service all day, and now our room has no electricity. Don't stay here. I'm very disappointed.

Really nice old hotel in PV. Has a few quirks. Small room. Nice balcony. A barn door would really be helpful for the bathroom. So many places to walk to from it along the Malecon & Beach side as well as the street side. Tons of restaurants to choose from. The pool is lovely & warm. Beach area is very nice. Feels VERY romantic at night!

Not a bad resort only thing that was shady they give you key cards for Towels and if you lose them you pay 45$ well we never used the key or got towels couldn't find the cards and was charged that sucked wish it was a different way of going about that. Other than that the place isn't bad. You are in the heart of it all so will be loud from music and bars clubs people but the resort has guards so no one will stumble in and intrude

Great space north of the sail to get a spot on the beach with food and drink service. Takes a little bit of time to check in but once done it’s great. Service is excellent. 600 pesos per person gets you a spot on the beach with umbrella, towel and chair, and that includes 400 spending on drinks and food! A bit more low key than down by Blue Chairs but am great price.

This is a beautiful hotel with many restaurants, spa, and beach access. Most of the staff was wonderful, however the front desk service was not great. The great thing about this hotel is that is is great for families with kids and couples traveling without kiddos. This hotel is central to the romantic zone and malecone and more bars and restaurants then you could ever need. If you want to really get a taste of Mexico this is the place to stay. The best of both worlds. Resort life and downtown shopping clubs.

This hotel is beautiful and right on the beach. It is an older hotel and the rooms are on the small side. But for the all inclusive price it is definitely worth it. It has a great location and the staff were always very helpful and nice.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, walking distance to everything. The hotel is literally right on the beach. We got the all inclusive which included food and alcohol. The food is buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner with snacks throughout the day too, and the food options change each day too. The free drinks made it worth it. I do think the alcohol is watered down though, as no matter how many cocktails we had, we never got drunk! Overall a great stay though, would stay again.

Location is great, we have been staying at this hotel for almost 10 years (once every two years), this time was our last... everything (rooms, towels, furniture, lift, etc. are old and for sure need a renewal) Service was not great at all, the waiters (beachfront)were sit all the time instead of being pendent of the guest. They do a significant difference between national and international guest, which to me is a really uncomfortable situation. Food service is good, flavours and quality is good but the menu turns very repetitive after two days. In general the only thing I can rescue is the location, but I believe the service does not worth it anymore. Very disappointed.

We had dinner on their roof top pool. By far the most 5 star excellent service we received anywhere in Mexico. The food is definitely 5 star quality and as delicious as you can imagine including their top notch cocktails. We were charmed to get a spot in the pool right before sunset without a reservation! I would definitely make a reservation next time. They had a lovely singer gracing our meal with her sultry voice and. It was nothing short of magical. Such a cool and unique dining experience. We can't wait to return and would love to stay at the resort next time too!

Public spaces are still pretty good. Location is nice on the New Malecon. Some rooms are nice enough but ours was below standard size and expected upkeep level. Won't likely return.

All my pictures are from the common area or from room 136. This hotel is in a great location, so an easy walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, or other tourist attractions. The WiFi is hit or miss. Friends and I ended up getting the all inclusive package when we checked in, which includes drinks and some food. However, it's not very clear which food is included. On several occasions we were told that certain food in the buffet wasn't included or that they can no longer offer certain food even though the food was directly in front of the person at the station. I would recommend against the all inclusive package. Overall, I like the hotel and would stay here again, but I'll skip the "all inclusive" package.

The beds were comfy and the AC kept the room nice and cool. Of course you don't come to PV to stay in your room...so we spent a lot of time in one of the several pools and lounging in the sun. The service was fantastic. The area is surrounded by 100s of different types of dining and entertainment options. We felt safe everywhere we went, even at night. We will definitely be back.

Very affordable hotel with nicely sized suites. Ask for an upgrade to the larger suites on the 4th level, and you'll be happy you did. While not 100% views of the ocean here, you have at least an partly obstructed view that is still enjoyable. Internet speed is an issue here and has been for many years.

The location is great, especially if you’re LGBT. The hotel is nice looking. The rooms are clean and house keeping does a great job. The pool and jacuzzi are a great place for relaxation and fun. The food though, it’s not that good. My family and I were there for five days and the food was pretty much the same everyday. Sometimes it would have a nice flavor, sometimes it was dry. Also, some of the staff was rude and not attentive. We would ask for drinks or for another chair and sometimes we would get a great response and sometimes we would get an attitude. They also seem short staff when it comes to bartending. We’ve only seen 1 or 2 people per bar. So whenever we asked for a drink, it felt rushed. Also, the restaurant in the hotel, serves outsiders. So they pay more attention to the paying customers who came in that day than the ones who already stay at the hotel. Service need to be better!!!

My score is a zero but if I didn't give it a star it wouldn't post. The people there don't care about their patrons. On arrival had trouble checking in they didn't have our reservation correct (mind you, even after making them with the hotel) . The room was very very small, nothing like the pictures on the internet. It had a mildew smell, you could fill the springs in the mattress . Did I mention very very small room. Yes it's near the water and some shopes, and unless any of the things I mentioned wouldn't bother you have a nice stay.

Let me start by saying this was our honeymoon. We splurged for an oceanfront room. It was nice and modern. the new section is the only nice rooms - the other rooms or small and smelled old. Terrible decor and everything else. We were there for the hurricane, so we got moved to another room that’s how I know, we were shown about 4… I just chose the least smelly room. Service was good. The food was average at best. Free night dinner of fillet mignon turned out to be pork wrapped in bacon.. we tipped the waiter and left, didn’t even eat it. We did not get the all inclusive thank God.. however, other guests did, , and they were pretty much drunk all day, which was annoying. Let’s talk about the beach. It was nice looking but take one step on the beach and try to relax forget about it. There is literally a line of people selling things from oysters to foot massages and everything in between! Very annoying!!! The pool was gross and dirty (before the hurricane) and hot tub was not approachable at all because it was so full of people and kids, which we’re not supposed to even be in it. The adult pool was ok. Anyway… go to a different resort, spend the extra money. This one is average at best. The couples massage was fantastic. The spa was nice. That’s it. And if your gay… you’ll love this part of town, if your not you won’t.

This was where we stayed for our honeymoon, place was awesome, rooms were great and the staff was very welcoming, they had private parking and even accommodated our bikes My wife loved the pools and our ocean view Thank you will be coming back for sure I drove here from Los Angeles

Everyone was very friendly during my time at the resort, the food and drinks were good, and the service was great especially Yolanda from the front desk who signed us up for our ATV excursion she made sure we got the best deal and had a safe return to and from the hotel. The town is very friendly. I was able to walk around at night to enjoy the nightlife with the rest of the locals and tourists, I would recommend this place to anyone. The beach experience was okay, nice, and clean, just a little bit busy because we were in the heart of the city where the shops are mostly mom and pop, which is great, the food and gifts are very original.

Los Arcos has a fabulous location steps from all their pools, the beach and the local, cultural activities. The rooms can be a bit small, depending of how much you pay, but they are clean. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Los Arcos has a really good activity activity program run by their excellent director, Adrian. Adrian offers water aerobics and stretching classes, cocktail making classes, bingo, etc. There are also activities for the children such as water balloons! He is a great asset to the hotel providing guests with fun activities and a chance to mingle. My husband and I have been coming here for 10 years and it has become a home away from home!

We had a great stay here! There were a lot of families with kids, so glad to have the adults only pool. People seemed to informally reserve the deck chairs in the morning, which meant we never got a spot to lay by the pool and chill, only sit in the pool and leave straight after. Drinks are well priced at the pool bar. Mar y Vino restaurant was a fabulous experience - food, staff, venue. Well located hotel, close to everything and on the beach. Rooms have air conditioning which we loved.

The hotel manager sat right next to her employee as he struggled to find our reservation. She didn't do anything until the next day when i realized she was the manager. When i called her out on it, she got very aggressive and suggested i fill out an incident report sheet. We ended up staying in a different room. Rooms are completely subpar, not to mention they called it a suite. The door wouldn't close. Window was jammed. The elevator broke down. Service amongst staff was great (maids ,servers, bartenders all get a?10 out 10) out door amenities were good but for the quality of rooms and management i wouldn't recommend coming back.

The rooms were nothing special, just a place to sleep. We had an awesome view from our balcony though and the pools were fantastic. The location was wonderful and right on the beach, we are definitely staying here again. We added the all inclusive package, we watched amazing sunsets at dinner every night we were there. Very family friendly, LGBTQ+ friendly, and they stuck to the local COVID safety protocols. Testing to fly back home was also on site (About 600 pesos)

Acros is in the perfect location if you are looking to be in the heart of the PV action! We had a slight mix up with our reservations but the manager Martha was wonderful and accommodating and was able to give us a room with a balcony overlooking the pool with a view of the ocean! We had a great first day at the pool …great happy hour!! Some rooms are remodeled so be sure to ask before you book. Our room is one of the older rooms but still nice and clean. Thank you Martha!

This may be the worst hotel I've ever tried to stay, nothing like the photos, the room smells like mold so bad, air conditioning doesn't get cold, bathroom has a window that just doesn't close so it's so hot in there, internet doesn't work and when i asked at the front desk they just told me to "wait until tomorrow". I won't let this trash ruin my honeymoon, i haven't even slept 1 night here out of the 7 i had booked and they just won't even say sorry and much less a refund. I would rather pay again at another place than let this ruin my honeymoon. BEWARE, RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE The only reason I'm giving it more than one star is because the restaurant area is actually not bad and staff there is friendly. It feels like a separate company is managing that area than the hotel itself.

Great location in the Romantica! The newer rooms are nice and the all inclusive package is great value! We spent most days eating at the breakfast and dinner buffets just because it was good.

First of all let's get this up front. This is not a new resort or building. If that is a problem move on. Having said that. It is a very well taken care of resort. Well maintained very clean. With a super friendly staff, it's on the beach. Downtown in the Romantic Zone, near most everything. Four stars because of the age. Thermostat in room not working. Luckily stuck in freezer mode. Girlfriend not happy with that, but I'm okay with it . Staff in the beachfront restaurant not very attentive, seem to have zero peripheral vision wave your glass or cup till your arm is numb and they never seem to see me. This is after being here for a couple of days and tipping well. Maybe no tip will get there attention not sure...

The staff was very friendly and helpful, Yolanda was great, she helped set up a pick up from the airport and with scheduling covid test and answered a lot of other questions I had. Rooms where clean and had a nice balcony. The dining area had a great view of the beach. The staff was very friendly and quick with serving drinks. The pool is beautiful and the lounge pool chairs where great to relax in the pool with your drinks.

We stayed at the Superior room. We were on the fourth floor which was a beautiful view of the hotel, beach, and sunsets. Luckily, we were in a renovated room that was super nice and I loved the sliding door bathroom. The bathroom was spacious and perfect for my mother, my boyfriend, and I. The shower with the stones on the floor was my mom’s favorite. Our breakfast was delicious, it is totally worth it to include the resort’s breakfast into your stay! We got to start our day with full bellies. Our waiters were great and the food options were awesome. The pools were nice! Luckily we were there during the lesser busier time after Easter so the pools were not too crowded and not as many kids running around. I loved that the beach was right outside the resort so we got to enjoy the sight of the beach as well. We slept comfortably and enjoyed our stay here. I was able to exchange my USD for pesos easily and the rate at the hotel is pretty good compared to outside the hotel which would give a lower rate. All the attractions we wanted to see were walking distance of the hotel which was perfect. We did not have to take a taxi during our time here. The seafood restaurants around the area were also delicious but be careful as some restaurants are way too overpriced for extremely small portions.

Nice hotel with a friendly staff. Rooms were clean, bright and spacious with nice balconies, good closet space and refrigerators. We appreciated the two bottles of water that were provided each day when the room was cleaned. They didn't leave enough towels though and had to ask for more most days and they were quickly delivered. We enjoyed the beach and pools. There is a small adult pool, hot tub, and a big pool for families. The hotel is in a good location, so easy to walk everywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was extremely attentive and nice. The pool and beach area is well maintained and weren’t too busy on our trip. The rooms are pretty awful. They’re not just dated, they’re bizarre and partially non-functional. We reserved a single queen bed and got two full beds. Not exactly the romantic experience we had hoped for. That being said I’m not faulting them too bad because the fine print does outline bed choices are based on availability and the staff did attempt to find us another room.

Stayed here with my wife and a couple friends in late june. For starters we booked our room as a standard king bedroom. Then we get there and they give us two twin beds. We call down see if we can move they say no they’re booked up so try tomorrow. They then inform us that by booking the standard king they can give us two twins. That wasn’t disclosed in the booking. After two nights we were able to switch. We paid extra and got a ocean view room. We then switched to all inclusive as well. I will tell you that the all inclusive is not all inclusive it only includes a few things. Pretty much buffet food and tap beer and well liquor. The food was ok. The beach was great but be prepared to fend off vendors. There’s no shade in the pools for the most part. All in all it was okay once we switched rooms just wish I would have known about the all inclusive only including a few things before we switched. It rained one day and knocked out the power for several hours with the power on all around us but not our hotel. It was a very light rain too. It’s a great location on the beach and in the city a lot of things within walking distance. That was the only save. The pool. The beach. The location. Or else it would have been a lower rating.

We had a great time staying at Playa Los Arcos. It is in a great location, tons of local restaurants and bars right by. The pool was great. They had lounge chairs that were in the water, which was nice. There were also chairs out on the beach for you to use. Building was a bit old, but the room was very clean and we were comfortable. It is a very family friendly hotel so it was very lively all day and night.

While the rooms are outdated, they are well equipped, very clean and it obvious they are updating as you hear the sounds of hammers during the day. The pool and pool bar are staff are spectacular. Victor and Luis are excellent! Our only mistake was getting the all inclusive. They advertise the buffet is included but it’s not. Most items are yes, but tacos, chicken wings and other items at lunch and dinner are not included. Front desk staff was rude and dismissive when questions are asked. Overall a gem in the heart of the Romantic Zone but some friendlier service at the front desk and more transparency on the all inclusive would likely get us to book again.

Just avoid the cheap small rooms. Pay and enjoy. Second floor dinning is great. 48hr reservations for 12in. Foot pool, while dining. Live music n dance floor on first floor. Premium all included dining. Best spot, on the beach in the area. Food is NOT EXTREMELY $$$$....

We ate at Mar y Vino. It was an amazing time. Brandon was our waiter and he was fantastic. The views are amazing. You can people watch and enjoy a great dining experience. I love this place. The seafood was great too. I will be bringing all the friends and families that come and visit to this sunset.

Absolutely loved this place. The staff was really friendly and very accommodating. And the clientele as well. Just a nice warm atmosphere. . The food was great, and good value. Location is perfect. Right in the Center, but still quiet. Will be back. Thanks Los Arcos

This is an old hotel, built in 1979 in the heart of our favorite area in Puerto Vallarta. The rooms could use some love, but we are only in the room a short few hours every day. This place is within walking distance to hundreds of places to eat, shopping, and a cheap cab ride if you need to get further out. It’s the location! Actually the Mi Pueblito restaurant in the property is great. At the front of the hotel is Kaiser Maximillian restaurant, so you ate in great shape.

I like this hotel a lot. Very convenient place, close to the center of city, good food, super friendly staff, clean suits. I loved all the wood decorations in the rooms and on hotel territory. I want to say big thank you for Betulio and Roberto from the restaurant, for Jose from cleaning team. For all the girls, who made cleaning in our rooms. Definitely I would like to come back and recommend this place. But 4 stars - because exactly next to our rooms whole time of our stay in the hotel they have been removing part of the building decor. So it is constant noise, dust, we took two rooms next to each other and in one of them was completely impossible to use the balcony, and barely possible to use the second one. Also was extremely disappointed to be next to all this noise during afternoon time trying to get some rest. I think it’s fair to remove one star from my rating. Guys, if you knew ahead this plan why we were given those rooms??

Overall okay experience, however I feel the advertisements to stay here are mistargeted. This is a family hotel, and they should feature lots of photos of families and children running around. That would set more realistic expectations. It lacked that intimate, romantic feel that's in all the promo shots. The front desk representative came across cold and not friendly, but the bell hop person was very welcoming. There was some mold on the ceiling but otherwise the bathrooms are large and the beds were comfy.
