First off , I like to commend Ivan and Jessica for being prompt and professional. Check in was a breeze. The apartment was very spacious. I’ll start with the Pro’s: Very safe building and area. 500-600 sq ft Full size bed Large living space with separate full dining area and bedroom. Large Bathroom with Adequate hot water pressure. Two large towels and two medium towels. Soap and shower gel provided. Large refrigerator, gas burners, dining table, bar stools and kitchenware. Very Cold AC, fan, moderate flatscreen TVs with English channels, and super fast internet Apartment is very well insulated. Stays cool all day long without the AC. Lots of standard(USA 110 watt) wall plugs Nice balcony with partial ocean view and 2 x plastic chairs. Ample amount of closet and luggage space. Beautiful roof top overlooking the ocean and pier. Great location. 1 minute walk to the beach , restaurants, bars, convenience stores(OXOX) and ATM’s. Con’s Bed linen is getting old . Will need to be replaced soon. Toilet had poor water pressure. Hopefully , it will be resolved during my next visit. Only one aircon(living room), but the provided fan cooled down the entire apartment. Windows are thin. Can get loud outside. Noise dies down at 11pm, but the birds in the courtyard were chirping all night. Roof top pool is more like a large warm jacuzzi , but without the jets. This is a apartment building. You will be given a key for the entrance door, apartment and in room safe. Any issues, notify Ivan or Jessica via “WhatsApp”. See photos for reference. Amapas is a great and very affordable place for couples and solo travelers. It’s a must stay when in PV. If this review was helpful, please give it a 👍 Happy Travels

Three great things - price, location, and staff, we spent 5 nights for about $250 US, a steal! To make it even better, it's located just off the beach, a one minute walk puts you on the beach and a drink in your hand. Finally, the staff was great and helpful. To be fair, you get what you pay for. The room had good amenities, safe, full kitchen, A/C, cable tv, and lots of space, but it was all older and a little worn. It was perfect for us as we don't spend a lot of time in the room and although it was on the street, it was never too loud. I would stay here again for sure and recommend it to others.

The place is located in zona romantica everything is from a walking distance. The place is quiet, has a comfortable bed and spacious kitchen and living room with a terrace view.

I absolutely loved it there. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful view from my balcony, the room was great and also very clean. I would also recommend it to anyone on a budget. Very reasonable prices.

We stay there every time we go to Puerto Vallarta ! Great customer service, and right next to the beach so it's a simple nice walk. Amazing rooms, I love how you are still able to get a great view even though it's not right on the beach. My mothers wedding was in October of 2018, they accommodated all of our guests with a great rate and even helped us out as much as they could. We have become great friends with the owners and always return each and every time and still have the amazing experience. Even though it could be considered in a zone with noise, super quiet, and super safe. I'm hoping to plan my 21st birthday in PV, and will most definitely be giving them a call to set up a reservation. The only thing I will warn travelers about if you do have a hyper sensitive nose, it does sometimes smell of sewage, but it's definitely not something that deters me every single time we visit. You get the waft once you walk into your room once in a while but it's absolutely not terrible :) Customer service is great, they aren't always downstairs standing around, sometimes they're in their office, and they also provide a phone number when you make a reservation to get in contact with them when you arrive and need to grab your keys or if you have any questions or issues -- they're quick with responses as well! Give them a shout and a try!

This is not a front beach place. The photo is not of the apartment. However, it is a good place

If you get the chance to stay here and meet Christian and Jessica they are both such nice people. Christian helped my girlfriend and I out of a bind and allowed us a super late check-in when we had a bad Airbnb fall through. The beds here are fantastic and the views of the beach are stellar from the room and some of the corner units. Rooms are comfortable and perfect for a family getaway if you've got one of the two bed two bath suites.

Really great location! A/C was pretty disappointing in the 2bd apartment but the studio felt great.

Wifi signal only in front area Bathroom has no towel bar.. shower needs upgrading. Tv remote has glitches. As far as staff, where? Can't reach them to get fresh towels and bathroom tissue..We had to purchase our own tissue. Even after Reaching Jessica, she said she would tell the other guy (can't remember his name at the moment) to bring us fresh supplies.. Never happened . She eventually brought the towels..

Clean. Close to the beach, food, activities. Very simple and to the point! Has all the basic amenities you need for those who don’t stay couped up! Balconies are nice, but first floor has wiring in front.
