This is our 4th stay with Carmen and the wonderful staff at Villa Divina. An amazing experience. Every detail was handled from pre planning to the day of departure. In the past we stayed in room 1, this visit we scheduled the penthouse with Tom’s parents. Each had a large bedroom and a fantastic luxury bath. The common rooms included a full kitchen, living room, bar and private in room hot pool with the best view of the bay and sunsets on the west coast. Carmen and Miquel, the chef taught us how to cook local mole and gluten free tacos. Also enjoyed the special home made vegetarian and gluten free tamales. This location is an easy ride to downtown or south of the city to wonderful local restaurants, garden and beaches. Keeps you out of the hustle and noise, very private. Highly recommend the Villa for a luxury stay when in Puerto Vallarta. Cannot wait to return.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this place. It's conveniently located near the old town, nestled in a tranquil hillside setting that ensures a peaceful atmosphere. Out of the five hotels I tried in the past week, this one provided the best experience by far. The breathtaking combination of the sea view and pool view was simply spectacular. Moreover, the rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable, offering a truly relaxing environment. However, the true highlight of my stay was the impeccable service and outstanding cuisine. Carmen's attention to detail and exceptional service made my experience truly memorable. Additionally, Oscar and his team consistently served delectable dishes that left a lasting impression. I genuinely hope to have the opportunity to return to this place soon, and hopefully, I'll be able to extend my stay to fully immerse myself in the remarkable experience it offers.

The main problem is the price gouging; 1) $30 resort fee, which is understandably normal, but this was not disclosed in any way at the time of booking. Nasty surprise at time of check-in. 2) The food prices are extortionate. Everything is priced at a 300% premium compared to restaurants in town. I acknowledge there should be a premium for convenience and the view, but 3x the price is ridiculous (and the food was "just ok") 3) Nickle and diming on the food bill. Menu says free refills on coffee, but we got charged an extra cup, because I "had too many refills". Similarly, we had guests over, and they charged ~$15 each for a carafe instead of a single cup, because there were "constant refills" (one guest had one refill, one guest did not have any refills) Secondly, the decor is very dated. We knew this going in, the pictures are generally representative, but it just really hits you when all of these extra charges get tacked on, and you're left paying a premium price for a tired resort. Lastly, the pool was being cleaned and was out of order for 1.5 days of our stay, with no advanced notice or compensation. To be fair, the staff at the resort were extremely friendly, and do not deserve this critique. They were just following the policies of an owner trying to squeeze out every last penny from the guest.

This is a lovely place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had tons of space including a big closet with plenty of hangers, a comfy bed with good pillows, and it was really quiet. Carmen and Pasquale took great care of us! We had breakfast here every day (try the green chilequelas) and we ordered room service for dinner one night. The food was really good (thank you Arturo!). Villa Divina is conveniently located about 15 minutes from the heart of Zone Romantica. It was easy to get an Uber or cab. We never waited more than 10 minutes. Carmen is full of great advice! I highly recommend chatting with her before heading out for the day.

This place is so beautiful! It was truly such a unique experience. My husband and I went in December of 2022 and I could say it is definitely meant for couples who want to an intimate experience. Everyone is so kind, specially Pascual and Carmen, they both made the experience unforgettable! The rooms have a beautiful view and the food and drinks were some of the best I have had in my life. They had the most amazing customer service. Everyone is so attentive. They make you feel like family. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back again.

Our Family of 21 people stayed for 12/15-1/1 2022. We rented the entire Villa and had the most amazing experience. The hospitality is 5-stars and the views and accommodations are fabulous. We were close enough to walk to the beach and a quick 5 minute uber ride to the Romantica Zone for shopping/dinner/drinks/etc. It was the perfect trip. We had kids from 2 years old, to grandparents that were 75 and it was perfect for all. The food was top notch, Carmen helped us organize everything we needed and the chef, maids, house-staff, and wait service were impeachable! Best vacation ever! I couldn't recommend this place more!

Had an amazing time for our honeymoon at Villa Divina! I could not have wished for anything better. The room was perfect, with a balcony and a private pool which overlooked the ocean and trees in which we could watch the iguanas. The bed was large and extremely comfortable with good pillows too. The gym was actually very good, well equipped for a simple workout. The food at the hotel was also excellent, even though we had only three meals there they did not disappoint. What a gorgeous place and such helpful friendly staff! I really hope we get to return one day 😋

Beautiful charm away from the rat race. Carmen and staff provide the ultimate stay in this out of the way hillside retreat. And the coconut shrimp is the best dinner in town. Can’t way to go back next year.

Fabulous! I love the intimate setting and personalized hospitality. There are just nine rooms, and so I often felt like the only guest. Located up the mountainside, the property boasts a spectacular and expansive sunset view. The room is very comfortable, too. I recommend staying here if you’re seeking a more relaxing vacation, versus the larger and more energetic resorts in town. Just keep in mind that transportation will require a taxi or Uber to go downhill and into town, but this is inexpensive and quick.

This place was more than we expected! The pictures do not compare to what it actually looks like! All the rooms are specious and unique! Our room #7, had a spectacular view! Carmen and Pascual were so nice and helpful! We felt at home and safe here. Carmen got us reservations at a great restaurant and set up our taxis as well! The food was amazing at Villa Divina and we ate here almost every meal our whole stay because we wanted to try everything on the menu! We can’t say enough about this place and we will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing time!

EXCEPTIONAL! Carmen at the front desk, the chef, the waiters (Pascual), the cleaning service, the views, the ROOMS, the FOOD and DRINKS all were amazing! We were a party of 12, and the arrangements and recommendations that were made for us was awesome! The rooms are so spacious and all had a different look and well kept! I will definitely stay here anytime in Puerta Vallarta and refer family and friends.

My friends and I had THE BEST stay at Villa Divina! The rooms were all big and comfortable and we were very well taken care of by Carmen, Pascual, Pedro, the Chef, and the entire team. They fulfilled every need and request, including recommendations on places to go. We spent different parts of the day at the pool and the view stayed amazing the entire time. Only thing I will do different next time we stay here is book the penthouse suite!

Villa Divina is simply the best boutique hotel in PV, hands down. Let’s break it down. Staff The staff is what makes this place so special! Truly. Carmen is so kind and warm and helpful. She can make anything happen and has been the face of Villa Divina for two years since we have been coming here. Pascual! The entertainer/server who can light up the room with his smile and beautiful personality! We have so much affection for these two. George is new to the team is also so special. The cooks are friendly and amazing too. Location Set up on the cliffs in Conchas Chinas, it doesn’t get any better to us. It’s quiet with views that are just stunning. The infinity pool faces directly west so the sunsets here are second to none. Cab ride to Zona Romantica is $5US and take only about 5 mins. Food On site chef can cook you whatever you’d like! Great menu and also full bar. Everything is fresh and all meals from breakfast to dinner is great. Overall This is our second time back and we don’t know if we will ever stay anywhere else in PV. If you like all inclusives and party, this ain’t your place. If you have kids, this ain’t your place. If you want a tranquil boutique hotel in an amazing location with the most wonderful staff, this IS your place. Great place for couples. Rooms #5 #7 and the penthouse have the most incredible views!!! 10/10 highly recommend

Unforgettable experience. We stayed in the penthouse for 4 nights for our honeymoon. The highlights of the penthouse were the private heated pool, stocked fridge, gorgeous views, massive bathrooms with rain showers, and sliding glass doors in the bedroom. It felt very luxurious. We ordered room service multiple times since we didn't want to leave. All staff were extremely friendly and attentive. They helped facilitate taxi rides to go downtown and coordinate our COVID tests to return home. They even presented us with a personalized flan to celebrate our honeymoon. We'll definitely be back again :)

We have been here 5 times due to the one of a kind STAFF! The uniqueness of Villa Divina is felt from the moment you are greeted until your good bye walk out at the end. Carmen, Miguel, Pasqual and Rueben are the heart and soul of Villa Divina, treating you like family. You feel comfortable and at home here with their genuine welcoming spirit. They will educate you on local foods and local knowledge. The property is gorgeous and feels like a private home when you are there. Miguel has made the best fish, sashimi dishes and offers custom meal options. Carmen will make a special occasion the most memorable with her thoughtful touches and care. (balloons, dessert, roses) Rueben has shown us a baby iguanas and adult iguanas up in their trees. Pasqual makes delicious margaritas and they make homemade tuba. The rooms and pool are a spectacular view, Tasteful decor with comfort, space and privacy in all. It’s a given you will be returning once you stay at Villa Divina. 🤍 You don’t even have to leave this charming hotel during your stay, and you will be fulfilled. Hasta Luego - W & M
