I stayed here for about two weeks and very much enjoyed my stay. The two bedroom suite I was upgraded to (#503) was very large and had everything I needed. It had a large private balcony, which is a must for me. I enjoy my first morning coffee sitting outside in the sun. The suite's kitchen had everything necessary. Keep in mind that this is not a luxury hotel, nor is it priced like one. The furnishings are spare and modest. The king size platform bed was pretty hard, as there is a good mattress, but no box springs. One of the two showers had very little hot water flow, so I used the one in the second bathroom, which was really good. The maids do a wonderful job, everything was always spotless. I don't normally use air conditioning, but did briefly turned it on and have to say that it smelled pretty bad, so I simply didn't use it. This may be a problem from lack of use, as it was never really hot enough to need it. The WiFi worked good most of my stay, but quit working the last couple days for some unknown reason. For the money, even with the few drawbacks I mentioned, you simply can't beat the value and location. I'm sure I'll stay here again.

I stayed 8th-15th Oct and was pleasantly surprised with the comfort and service. During Hurricane Lidia the electricity and TV was off, but it was good that had taps for drinking water on every floor. Will be back again in future.

This hotel was overpriced, the images on reviews are great but deceiving. The hotel is ran down, it was a shock for me because I'm use to Almar or Vazul for same price. Alma the housekeeper is amazing she made sweet towel animal's for us. The kitchen needs full renovation, you can hear everything outside, the elevator is the scariest iv ever been in. They are renovating the halls, they started at 7:30am not kind when guests are on vacation. The balcony price is not worth it, its small & you get to see a building lol. The air conditioning n beds were great, kind staff. Also the doors will slam into your fingers when closing rooms, there is a weird ledge and tight fit. It's painful.

We enjoyed our stay at Suites Plaza Del Rio. We spent three weeks total in PV, with 8 days being at the Plaza. It is very convenient to everything and only two blocks from the Malecon. We are big walkers/hikers, so we had a great time exploring all over the Romantic zone and El Centro!

I was staying at the Sister Hotel in which I had issues with my room. The front desk girl told me to deal with the hotel managers there as they made the decisions. She was basically saying to go away. I spoke to Monica regarding the excessive noise from the Gay Club. My room shakes from the music and they party till 5 am every day. I don't get any sleep. Monica's solution to any issue was to raise the price and try to get more money out of me.

Location was perfect to access most all of Los Muertos, The Malecon and the Isla Cuale. Also quick walking to downtown Centro. Beds were really hard. Plenty of available drinkable water. Rooms have kitchenette. Would be great for a long stay. But the beds and the street noise can be loud

The location is excellent! We had a lower level spacious suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and will return. The staff was very friendly and made us feel so good staying there.

a simple, traditional, reasonably priced hotel with clean, spacious rooms. the bedrooms are air conditioned. every room i have stayed in is actually more of an apartment, with a full furnished kitchen, and living room/dining room area. this stay, i upgraded to an end of building room, with a balcony overlooking Rio Caule, because i love sitting out of a morning and watching the wildlife. there is a great rooftop patio, with a nice, clean pool. definitely one of my main go-to(s), for stays in PV!!

Affordable prices. Walking distance to everywhere. All type of stores and restaurants around. The room looks old and simple but very roomy and comfortable. No AC, only ceiling fan, but we never need it, the night temperatures were chill. I would stay again if necessary

If you get a good price you will be happy here. For us we did not get a good price. Mexican apartments, no AC (ok with us), no sound proofing from the outside so very noisy on weekends. House cleaning was daily and good. Apartment was large with 2 bed 2 bath. We liked the location. Service at the hotel encino was good. Pools are small but nice.

We loved this hotel because they offer cheap prices for very spacious apartments! The personnel is very nice and helpful and it has a cozy atmosphere. Location is central and close to the old town. We stayed at this location 3 times, altogether for about 14 nights and were very happy!

When we checked in they charged me 30% more than the published booking. As, they set the exchange rate. The beds are extremely hard. It's in a good location, they have an elevator and small pool.
