YES!!! this place has some of the most well crafted cocktails in town and the service is both classy and intentional BUT here are some things I learned during my many visits that you may not know that will make you absolutely LOVE this place even more!! 1. It's only one of two locally owned bars in the downtown area (I'm 100% into supporting local) 2. The owners are 2 women. They're all about providing work to other women. 3. They try and buy small batch locally made artisonal liquors from all over Mexico in addition to carrying the larger brands. They said they do this to support the economy and bring uniqueness to your cocktail experience. Overall an amazing thoughtful bar with high quality drinks. Can't recommend this place enough! Enjoy!!

Ok let's talk Elixir. 1st there aren't too many places that pride themselves as a cocktail bar in PV and when they do you're lucky not to get an overly sweet alternative take of a margarita. But Elixir is the rare bird in the forest providing true craft cocktails, creatively designed and passionately prepared. The women at this establishment don't play when it comes to their spirits. Highly knowledgeable about the numerous and varied spirits they carry but also skillful at being able to determine the appropriate taste palette you seek based on a few descriptors, these mixologist are master craftswomen. I'm sorry but I'm a cocktail snob and this is one of not the true only established that can satisfy my discerning tongue.

Outstanding cocktails. The attention to detail on these craft drinks is phenomenal. You can get cheap margaritas and beer anywhere in puerto Vallarta. I’m way past my days of drinking lots of cheap booze to get drunk. Elixir offers drinks like infused gin w/Earl grey and a smoke bubble. Flowers in the king sized ice cubes and mint sprig tucked in a frozen blackberry. The owners were super friendly as well. This is a must stop!

Great to meet some ladies and have a few delicious and inventive drinks! Thursday is ladies night and locals come around. They have a dj playing house music. Amarre and afrodisiac drinks were delicious. Let the expert mixologists help you pick a drink to suit your tastes. THE VIBE is right and elevated.

An excellent find you wont regret. Located in zona romantica this is our new favourite place. Ambience is great and they serve some lip smacking cocktails. Staff is great and provides great sugesstions. Little pricey but its completely worth the experience.

This is one of the best places to come for mocktails and cocktails. I came on a Sunday at 7pm (in August), which is during their happy hour. They said they could make a mocktail of almost any of their existing cocktails OR I could tell them ingredients I like and they would make up a mocktail on the spot. I told the waitress I liked berries, lime, and mint, and out came one of the tastiest mocktails I've had here in PV. * 120 pesos was the Happy Hour price for the mocktail.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Elixir Mixology bar in Puerto Vallarta and it was a wonderful experience. The bar had a cute and cozy ambiance, which was perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic date. The service was exceptional with the staff being very friendly and attentive. The highlight of my experience was definitely the drinks. I ordered a delicious gin cocktail that was beautifully presented, topped with a bubble that added a unique touch to the drink. The bartender's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the drink and it was a pleasure to indulge in. It’s worth noting that it is cash only.

Elixir has some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had! Each one is so carefully and beautifully crafted and they are all amazing. The staff is super friendly and everything was so good!

This Mixology lounge is a must visit & it is the only womxn owned/queer bar in PV. The cocktails are crafted with such art and passion and all the staff made me feel so at home, I didn't want to leave! The DJ was mixing fire tracks and it was just all around good vibes. I ordered the Chahuistle and it was one of the best cocktails of my entire trip.

This is my new favorite place In Puerto Vallarta. Delicious and creative cocktails, delightful staff. Everyone was welcoming and helpful with a long list of drink choices. I will come back here again and again. Even the water is amazing with lemon and cucumber slices. Our group of 10 loved it. Drinks for all tastes.

This unassuming bar from the street arguably serving the best craft cocktail in PV. Quality mixology is the the beginning. Every cocktail has a level of presentation which is unparalleled. Owner warm, present and in the moment. Lesbian owned, everyone warmly welcomed. Do not overlook this five star gem.

Attention all lesbian and bi women+ people - come here!! My girlfriend and I were visiting from NYC and wish we could airlift this place to our neighborhood in Manhattan. Drinks are immaculate, hosts are warm and welcoming, and in a town with so much for queer men (which yes, love!! But still, I know that a "beef dip" party isn't intended for me ;-) ), this felt like an oasis for women+ queers. Truly excellent - attention to detail, fresh ingredients, playful cocktail options - I worked my way down most of the menu during my time in PV. Each of their house specials are a distinctly stunning experience! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Our group of 4 were here yesterday at 6pm when they opened. Had the small place to ourselves. We tried 4 different drinks (some twice). All 4 were creative and delicious! Can't wait to go again!

What a wonderful, friendly neighborhood bar! I went with a friend and met Isis who works in the main bar and also has a bar inside of the bar where she creates tequila drinks and does tastings. Isis is an absolute joy to spend time with. She has so much knowledge about Mexican history and the history of tequila and it shows in her passion for what she does. I strongly recommend you check this place out. It is just a couple blocks up on Basilio Badillo and sure to be one of your favorites!

This is one classy joint and caters to folks of all preferences. The Owner/Operators have done a fine job in making the place inviting and comfortably elegant. The drink creations are delicious to the palate and visual senses. On Thursdays they have a guest DJ that will get you moving to the beat and a special for Ladies Night (during season Oct.-May). Elixir Bar is The Place to Go for Locals and Visitors.

We went here for my husbands 40th while we were in town. He wanted a craft old fashion. We loved it. It was better than any bar we had been to in PV. Elena was bartending, she was amazing! We went back the next night we loved it so much.

Awesome cocktail bar and cannot wait to be back! And I want to take the mixology class, because that sounds FUN! Being a bourbon girl, I tend to gravitate to those drinks, but looking at the menu I noticed there’s a little bit for everyone. Fun mixtures with fun names. I think I could just stay there and get a little tipsy and have a great time. The best Old Fashioned I’ve had in PV and in a while (besides my own!) and the Manhattan also tasty-they were apologetic about having making it with rye, but rye is my fav so it worked out for me! Sipped other cocktails ordered by friends and equally as delicious. Will definitely be back!

Stopped here for a late night cocktail and was very happy that we did! The cocktails here were amazing and the presentation of them was very impressive. The staff was personable and very knowledgeable. She made me an old fashioned but with a twist of her own adding smoked cinnamon. Wish we would have came here earlier in our trip!

Amazing drinks! I’m usually not a mixed drink person but these drinks were made to perfection! The one in the photo is called Dessert Storm! I highly suggest! It was so good and I honestly could have had 3 more! Highly recommend coming for the drinks and vibes!

If you are looking for delicious, perfectly balanced, unique cocktails served in a beautiful space this is the place to come. As a bonus the owners are lovely people who are clearly passionate about what they’re doing. We loved it so much we signed up for the mixology class later in our stay and had a fabulous time learning how to make some of the amazing cocktails we had enjoyed the first time we were there, as well as just chatting with the owners. Our only regret was that we missed ladies night on Thursday!
