The environment is spotless and quiet. However, for the price, service, and attachments as a standard and expensive hotel should have, it doesn't have any of those services. So for travelers, I would recommend it if you are new to the city.

It's an older hotel that's been recently renovated. Our room was very clean and comfortable, but the old air conditioning unit was loud and made the room smell moldy. Turning off the AC helped considerably. Staff was pleasant and helpful, though there's no housekeeping during stays because of COVID. Good value for the price. Could have been great, if not for the stinky AC.

I was sent by my company to see if we could use this hotel for our annual meeting of 80 executives. At check in the agent upsold us onto a room which was the same as the room we had originally booked until we told him that it was the same room and asked why we were in the same room so he moved us. Towels provided had holes in them and Housekeeping left our toilet garbage bag on the sofa. There were also bugs in the sofa. Finally, when we had breakfast the hotel gave us a coupon and told us that if we were hotel guests we could get a special rate as indicated on the menu with a circle. Then the restaurant people said no you pay extra. After we argued with them the restaurant said no no if you are a guest you pay a special price and charged us for the price with the dot on it. Finally when we left a whole slew of charges appeared with the manager justifying that if you stay at the hotel you pay extra at the restaurant. Who gives a coupon to charge extra?? This was after the restaurant charged the lesser amount and gave us a receipt. The Hotel looks like an updated Motel but Motels are more organized and better run than the Sepia. Save your Money and go elsewhere because you won't relax here you'll only get more stressed out and angry having to argue with the staff after they change their story consistently and defend the incompetence displayed. I would rather bring a group of people to a Motel on the highway than subject them to the disgrace of this property.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel but I do not agree with its 4 star status. Personally, I take away one star for the AC in our room which was almost like an air cooler, the cooling made the room damp and the air heavy. I take the other star away because the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were lumpy. What I really like about the hotel is its proximity to QC. The rooms are small but clean. Also, the nespresso machine in the room with a good choice of coffee pods & a cute selection of teas will make your mornings brighter! The restaurant below - Galopin, is definitely a plus, we had breakfast there and it was delicious. Overall, I have mixed reviews of this place, I wouldn’t mind staying the night but a longer trip would mean back & body pain.

Nice hotel. Very good service. Location is near the aquarium but far from old Quebec. Short drive there or take the bus from hotel with passes provided from front desk. Just ask. Parking is provided for free. $$ Reccomend.

Nice little hotel . I noticed it serves a lot of working crews from CN and other business class travelers . As for us , a family of 4 it offers a nice room with comfortable beds . Our room looked like it was recently renovated. And it was quite modern... Small but definitely enjoyable. There isn't much to do around here so it has a low walking score in my opinion . But it helped the kids calm down and get to bed quickly. It's also perfectly in line with the highways and major roadways. Obviously you would be driving to this location and there are some fantastic locations nearby with plenty of restaurant options and other things to do. The staff are very friendly and helpful. But most importantly it's a good clean safe location offering great value. Also just to let the travelers with disabilities know it doesn't appear to be the perfect place if you have accessibility issues as I didn't notice any elevators but this hotel is only two floors. So if you are up on the top floor you would have to lug your luggage up the steps the good ol fashioned way . To the staff, thanks again for the wonderful stay

The room is dark and you need to go bedside and sofa side to turn on each of the light instead. You can clearly hear the people walking outside the door. Even we put all our towels and duvet sheet on the floor for changing new one, they just changed the towels and put the old duvet sheet back to our bed. The location is not convenient, if you are looking for convenient store or grocery, the nearest one you have to drive 5 mins.

Very clean and fresh sheets. I had wonderful sleep. Nespresso coffee. Nice bathroom. It's a good hotel with reasonable price.

Where should I start? Hotel buildings weren’t accessible: no elevators and no handicap door push buttons. The bathroom door in our room won’t stay closed. The bathtub wasn’t draining so a shower turned into a bath. There was a power outage in our building for 15-20 minutes in the morning after our first night of stay…

This hotel doesn't deserve more than one star. Would never stay again. Very disappointing experience!! 1. Starting from the begging, they charged the credit card on file before check in, without being present at the property. 2. They gave us a room in the first floor, and I asked them politely to change the room in the second floor, but they were not able to accommodate our request. 3. When we were in the room, when the other customer staying in the room in front of us, closed the door, our door open. 4. This thing happened even when we were outside, when we returned to our room, we found our room door open. 5. There is no plugs near the bed. 6. The towels were ridiculously thin. 7. Location is not so convenient. 8. The rooms were dated 9. The other room that I booked, had a weird smell, that was impossible to stay there. Please do yourself a favor if you don't want to ruin your vacation, stay away from this hotel.

at check in , the front desk told us the breakfast was included, but next day it wasn’t, our bill got high and didn’t receive receipt

Plus side: sleek decor, very comfy bed, clean, in-room Nespresso. Minuses: very small rooms, excessively noisy. You will hear many of your fellow guests as they walk by your room or move about in theirs. Acceptable value.

Beautiful property, clean and modern. The staff is super friendly with the most helpful customer service! We had to make a change to our reservation and Alison came to our rescue! Merci beaucoup!! Highly recommend.

Would love to leave zero stars! Called in advance as I’m a long distance household mover, in town with a large commercial vehicle. Looking to stay for 4 days and need a spot for my 53’ trailer and semi. The truck detached from the trailer I can fit into 1 normal parking stall. Their parking facility I scouted and could easily accommodate my unit, yet they refused me service and a place to stay.

Can you occasionally hear people waking in the hallway? Yes, but who cares? This place excels with the best hotel bed I have ever experienced. I slept through the night and woke up well rested and I wish I just could take that bed home. The Room and bathroom were spotless. Bathroom has good lighting and strong water pressure in the rain shower. Also the parking is free.

The hotel has a recent renovated look to it which is fine. Maintenance is their weakest part as I had to be moved rooms due to burned out lights, dirty glasses and coffee mugs. The room required a very good dusting. We were moved to the room across the hallway and it was better. That being said, we put the “cleaning required card” in the room card slot to indicated that we required cleaning and left for the day. Upon our return, new towels were brought but the garbages were not done and water bottles that come with the room were not replenished and had to request another toilet paper roll since the one we had was half full when we arrived. I recommend to everyone to check their rooms before checking in to ensure that these maintenance issues don’t affect your stay. I will be exploring other locations on my next business trip to Quebec City.

We enjoyed our stay. Modern rooms, very conveniently located off the highway and close to the highway into Old Quebec. Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

The worst experience ever. We booked the hotel for three nights and due to Covid. No cleaning service at all. I totally understand it. So the room is kinda nasty and uncomfortable. And we decide to cancel the last night booking. On their website, they mentioned we could cancel anytime before 2 pm. However, when I talked to them around 9 am, they said we booked it via a third party, and they still have to charge us. That’s ridiculous. I’m the customer, and I’m trying my best to understand your policy, not your third-party agreement. Anyways, the front table who talked to us is Mia. Thanks for her service again!

Hi, it was ok, the room was clean when we arrived. We stayed for 3 nights. The bed was comfortable. The things I did not like is that there was no room cleaning because of Covid. Needed to got to the reception to get clean towels. The sheets don't hold properly as they don't put a fitted sheet on the mastress only a sheet. Every morning we had to redo the bed. Also the AC is quite loud.

It is a typical 3-4 star hotel with very comfortable and reasonably spacious rooms. I would give 5 stars for the cleanliness. However, I strongly that they must include free breakfast. Ample free parking was available and its location is very convenient as well.

Love the modern style and decor! Love the no carpet rooms! Love the price! Love the location! Love the pillows! Love the bed! Twice now that we’ve stayed at Sepia! Returning again whenever we are Quebec bound!

Nice Hotel, has what you need. The rooms are typical size and they seemed to have had a nice facelift. AC would be the only reason I gave it 4 stars as it's an older wall unit style and although many settings it's dated and noisy. Otherwise the hotel did the trick and I can say that I would stay there again if need be. Breakfast at the hotel was good and the restaurant seems nice, however we didn't experience supper or lunch.

Everything was great! I enjoyed my night in this hotel, it was calm, no kids screaming or anything like that, the personnel were very professional and kind! They made me feel safe! Our room was clean and everything was perfect except for the wifi, we didn’t have access to it into our room..

The room had nice touches with nespresso coffee & cream, proper coffee cups & glasses. Bed and bathroom very nice. However was not clean, especially the floor & under coffee maker.

Amazing hotel. Very helpful and courteous staff. Guess it's newly renovated. All the facilities including reception, rooms, bed, washroom were of 4 star hotel range. So clean. lighting in the room was amazing. AC worked well. Toiletries well stocked, also very thoughtful addition like shower cap, ear cleaning buds, shoe shine. Had a peaceful sleep and stay. Full worth for the price. We stayed in this hotel and another one for the same price in Quebec city while on vacation for 2 days. This hotel 's standard can't be matched by many other famous hotels that we stayed during this vacation. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The room was a bit on the small side, but everything felt brand new and very clean. Bed was comfortable, but there were no outlets on the side of the bed to plug in our phones for the night (the alarm clock did have 2 usb ports, but since it was to the right of the king size bed, it wasn't practical).

The staff nice and they help me a lot at front desk. Room was clean. I think need more improvement with toilet and ventilation. The price was reasonable.👍

Wi-Fi constantly cutting out, no power sockets at the bedsides, no USB in the room. The rooms are very nice and seem to be freshly renovated, the staff are very helpful indeed. I think I would expect a little more at this price. Due to Wi-Fi, not ideal for business purposes.

Modern hotel. Our room had a super comfortable bed, rainfall shower head in the bathroom and a Nespresso coffee maker with free coffee. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m driving to/from the east coast and Toronto.
