Really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel front end staff were extremely friendly and helpful, was very impressed. They were able to give us ideas and locations on attractions as well provide a map. Hotel itself was super clean, very modern. Our room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable and we slept very well. Loved the design, colours, and ammenities. Parking is secure and you need to scan in and out. Location is excellent. Close to 3 malls and roughly a 10 to 15 minute drive to old town Quebec city.

Hotel is dark. Rooms are dark. Very modern design incorporating black ceilings and walls. Parking is secure but very limited and inconvenient. Very clean rooms. Housekeeping does an excellent job. Adjacent restaurant is excellent. Beds are quite comfortable. Would like a fridge in room and brighter lighting.

Staff were well trained, housekeeping was good quality. Washroom in my suite does not have a fan, smells last for days. Internet was pretty decent, only failed once. Temp control was a struggle, it kept switching to occupied - NO, making the room cold. Bed was firm and comfortable. Might be an older building, room doors are narrow, hard if you have big bags. The temp control and the no bathroom fan were my big downers. Staff did try to help me quickly.

Wow, lovely Alt hotel. Room was clean and tidy, great shower and good facilities. But most impressive were the reception staff, especially Alexanne who made us feel very welcome and valued and willingly spent time telling us about the city's sights and the best places to go - Thank-you Alexanne you are a great asset to the Alt hotel in Quebec, as are your colleagues. A bonus was a 72 hour bus pass which enabled us to travel into the old town as well as all the way to Montgomery falls. We have stayed at three Alt hotels on our holiday, (Ottawa, Quebec and Montreal). Alt Quebec was definitely the best and I would 100% recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located a little bit outside the city but easily reached with car or bus. It has a big shopping center right next to it and several restaurants around it. The restaurant which is located in the hotel itself provides foods at the hotel owned 'bistro' where you can buy snacks and meals which taste really good. It has a good equipped gym, and all the staff we talked to was so lovely. The rooms were wonderful. Super clean and luxurious interior.

Great rooms, employees always open to help. A 15 minute bus ride to the heart of old Quebec city.

I’ve been to the Alt Hotel in previous years and it was my favourite place to stay. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. However, I believe they’ve changed the rooms. They are now carpeted? I don’t recall that being a thing before. The beds are now very hard and uncomfortable and pillows flatten out and offer no support. I’m disappointed and hope other ALTs don’t follow suit in lowering their bedding quality and room furnishings.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alt Quebec - the location is super central (with malls nearby and just 15 mins from the airport). The staff was friendly and courteous and extremely responsive. For example, turning on the AC in the room was a bit tricky and someone came over to help right away. Wifi was complimentary and they even have a bistro on site - overall, it was pleasant for a short work trip

This elegant hotel in the business district of Ste Foy is steps away from a humongous shopping centre, restaurants and coffee shops. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. You will have access to a smart TV, great shower equipped with quality shampoos, creams and lotions. NESPRESSO Coffee machine is available in the room. The check-in clerk was very polite and explained everything well. I would say the hotel is missing a pool and breakfast options (although you have some pastries available at reception for about 7 to 10$).

The front desk is full of smart, friendly and easy-to-communicate people. The room is tidy and the equipment is decorated decently.

Rooms was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were amazing! It's downtown, so the view isn't great, but it's across the street from a huge mall and a couple of restaurants.

We booked for two nights (King size with a pullout bed). A convenience location and the room was spacious and clean. Both the bed and pullout bed were comfortable. The front desk team is fantastic, and they try to help you above and beyond. They offered us a Taxi or restaurant booking. Special mention to their restaurant Le Bistango; it's truly a hidden gem. The food was so good that they should earn at least two Michelle stars. We will definitely come back again.

The most comfortable hotel bed you will ever sleep in. The rooms are well laid out, clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful in French and English.

This hotel is nice, but I have to say there are some things that are really great, and something that are really not great. PROS - Clean, modern, large rooms - Nice coffee set up with a kettle separately - Bathroom is also clean, modern, and large - You can cast from your computer or mobile device to the TV - The snack spot is pretty well stocked - Nice staff - EV chargers! - Free parking - Across the street from a huge mall and some good restos - Cool bathroom features like you can watch tv in the mirror reflection from the shower and they have a opening in the shower door so you can adjust the water without getting wet - Black our blinds that actually work CONS - While the wifi is free, it’s slow - fine for Netflix, but couldn’t open photos in Google Drive - The casting to the tv is cool, but only works with Google products (on a Mac I used Chrome) - Also for the casting, if your computer falls asleep, it continues to play on the tv but you can no longer control it from the browser - The AC is right over the bed and blows directly on your face - The window in the shower looks cute and gives nice light in the bathroom, but if someone goes to the toilet in the night, it lights the room up like the face of the sun - Pillows suck, deflate 2 mins after you lie on them; I used a rolled up towel under them Overall a great stay with a few very weird quirks.

The room and location were good but the staff were unhelpful and rude. There was confusion over what was told to me on the phone and discrepancies when I checked in but the staff member became immediately defensive and even lied about the cancellation policy when I wanted to go to another hotel. Definitely not very dog friendly either. Beware if you're travelling with pets.

Excellent hotel! I have stayed there a lot for business and now for pleasure. Small, very pleasant rooms. Super comfortable bed. Great food and great service. Rooms well soundproofed so as not to have the usual hotel noise from neighboring rooms. The only downside is the parking !! When you return to the hotel in the evening after an outing, the parking lot is always full. They have underground parking but the spaces are so tight that you can't get out of the car when parked. Not a pleasant way to end a day!

Shower head sucked and the gap in the door got the bathroom floor soaked but the man working the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. Very good service. Wish i could remember his name but he was a tall dark man.

Nice overall stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Pros: Nice room amenities and atmosphere Nespresso coffee in the room Super friendly and helpful staff Intelligent TV that allows for screen casting Cons: Thin walls, heard baby crying in other room and neighbors showering. AC wasn't working great. Mattress & pillows were too soft for my liking Blinds let too much light in the room, wasn't dark enough for my liking. Not much around, need to drive to get anywhere

This boutique motel is in a great location. Very quiet, European designed rooms ans wonderful views of downtown and the mountains. Only complaint is that it could use a little maintenance as the bathroom door wouldn't shut and the main desktop outlet was shot.

Decent hotel. The location is good as it connects with all the buses going into the main city. Rooms are clean and tidy with basic amenities like soaps, shampoo, iron, coffee machine available. Don’t expect too high end but it’s quite decent. Staff is good. They have some options so you won’t be hungry even when it’s late at night and everything is closed.

I work in Quebec city once a month and I have been booking at Alt Hotel for quite a while. I am very satisfied with their customer service and I know I am a very demanding client. Thank you very much Étienne

Super disappointed. The moment we walked into the hallway of the 8th floor you could tell the carpet was never changed from a very old building that is renovated. The room smelled like old and mold. We booked through hotels.com and the pictures on there did not match what we walked into (it looked way nicer in the photos). We were moved into a different room that was just the same so we opened a very dusty window. As soon as we took a shower the entire bathroom flooded due to a gap in the glass door, the shower head holder was full of built up grime and the towels had hair from previous users and the sink was clogged. The blinds in the room were also covered in dust. When they moved us to a new room they couldn’t transfer the wifi over so we couldn’t stream anything. I am not sure what happened to the reputation of this place :(

Clean, friendly, comfortable bed. Good service. To replace the room service, they have set up a a small but very convenient food corner with lots of variety. Been going for years. Dependable and reliable. However small parking space.

When you want to bring your furry friends to a hotel and have the opportunity for a peaceful rest as well as access to plenty of wonderful places to eat, shop or get out then this hotel does have it all. I had a clean quiet stay with all the extras needed for my dog. Water and food bol,a clean mat for his to sleep and even a place right around the corner of the hotel to walk and have a great place for him to go to the toilet done just for his activities. I was very happy with the hotel and all the dog commodities. 🐕 The place to go!

This was our first stay in an Alt Hotel. Great experience. Very environmentally conscious hotel. Staff was always helpful and available to answer any kind of queries (gave us direction to the nearest laundromat, attractions and recommendations for restaurants) Gym on site was available upon booking available time slots in advance. No restaurant on site, but there were food and drink choices in the lobby. Parking was available both outdoors and underground.

Floors are very smelly and old, showers have a horrible design where water floods out into the bathroom floor, tables and blinds are not clean in the room. Staff at the front was really kind and helpful and the bed is very comfortable but this place needs a renovation and it’s not worth the money at all. Parking is also quite small.
