Good location close to bars, restaurants and the old city. Room was clean and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. The included continental breakfast was of high quality and was elegantly presented and served. The coffee was delicious. Parking on-site is available for $12/day. Be prepared to climb, however, there is no elevator and it's a long way to the third floor!

Good location and our room was spacious. I've been traveling a lot during the last 10 year for job reasons and sadly this was the worst breakfast I've ever had. Not just because they don't offer a breakfast buffet which is the standard these days but because the food was scarce and we had to buy more food the 3 days we stayed. Also, the food was not that great, the croissant were not homemade as they claim, you can see they don't actually have a kitchen behind the reception desk. Since we decided to skip the fruit they serve for starters, we asked if having 2 croissants was possible but they told us that was not possible. Also, among the selection of yogurts they have, they didn't have canned plain yogurts without sugar but we were served a small bowl to share, not getting two was ridiculous. They didn't ask if we wanted anything else to eat, the only thing you can get is a coffee refill. At least we were lucky and we could choose the 9:00 am time slot we wanted for breakfast. Won't return.

Very lovely hotel! Website portrays exactly what you get, so no unpleasant surprises. It is very well maintained, dashes of modern amenities, but still keeping plenty of the quaint old charm. Plus they have parking, which is a super bonus. Reception staff were very kind and helpful! It is in good walking distance from the Old town, but still in a nice quiet neighborhood. So very good point to tour from, or take a more relaxed pace. Will definitely come back here when in Quebec City next. :)

Charming hotel in a great location. Straight walk to Old Quebec. Hotel is impeccably clean and room is comfortable. Continental breakfast provided in a nice setting. Carl assisted us at checkin and checkout. He is a perfect host and kept the breakfast area well stocked. He made good suggestions for sights. Carl’s service and attention added to the experience. My husband booked the hotel and we couldn’t be more pleased.

It would be a perfect place if this was treated as a museum. A beautiful and charming building indeed. But it's not really suitable for living. Extremely dangerous stairs to climb up and down, especially carrying a heavy luggage. Cleaning only on request and for stays longer than 3 nights. Shabby bathroom. Poor breakfast with only unhealthy fat food (croissants, cakes, bread and some jam). Hints to leave tips all around (in the room, at the reception, in the breakfast room). It's not the way to make guests feel comfortable.

Wonderful boutique hotel in a great location. Less than 1 mile from major tourism hubs like parliament, the citadelle, the outdoor mall, etc. #11 bus stop is literally at the front door which takes you everywhere most visitors would be going to. Breakfast was simple but good, and on time each AM (important for us as we left promptly at 7:15 each day to ski and sight see). The beds in room 5 were SO COMFORTABLE. The on-site parking is also a ++++!

This is a nice place where they offer breakfast and parking. They were also available for early checkout and they are very well situated in Grande Allée. The room could've been a bit cleaner however, as the sheets were stained and there was hair in the bathroom and in the sheets.

A charming hotel. They were able to accommodate our early check in and had a great continental breakfast buffet. We had an amazing time, the hotel was very close to a lovely park which connected right to the city. Highly Recommend!

My brother and I stayed here back in the summer of 2018. The staff was so friendly and could understand my very sloppy french. I made reservations for a one bed room and my brother was going to sleep on an air mattress. The manager was so kind and upgraded us to a two bedroom to feel more comfortable. It is truly an authentic québécoise hotel that is not far from the old city and only a street over from a beautiful park. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay there again if I am ever back in the city.

Helping and kind staff. The hotel is cozy, clean, and neat wherever you look at. The breakfast was delicious, they bake their own croissants, so you wake up to that smell … oh la la! Only 20 minutes walking distance to old Quebec (fort).

A really lovely boutique hotel in a good location for walking around, and many restaurants close by. Friendly staff and our room was very nice & big. A quiet place for sleeping. Breakfast was included. Walkable to Old Quebec City and a 5-8 min taxi to the cruise port. Will stay here again in the future.

Usually writing a review is a straightforward affair. Often, you either love a place or hate it. Not so here. This was our third visit, the first post-Covid. We had a lovely, elegant superior room but then discovered there were issues with the Wi Fi, air conditioning and toilet. The night receptionist and manager the next morning, each did the best they could to remedy the issues and eventually moved us giving us credit for one night’s stay. If I could rate this facility based on the manager’s superior handling, his kindness and professionalism, I would give this facility a six but have ultimately decided on four stars with the expectation that once they have attended to some of the post-Covid structural issues, this lovely little hotel situated in a terrific location, will once again shine and warrant a five.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was clean and tidy. Everyone was very nice and polite. The atmosphere was authentic and really cute. We enjoyed our breakfast as well. Soft classical music was playing during the breakfast and this made our time very peaceful. We had enough choices for the breakfast, it was really good. We would come back here again.

Loved this hotel. Rooms are decently sized and full of character. Bed could be comfier but not an issue. Very clean. Free parking on site. Preferred this hotel over our stay at the Fairmont chateau Frontenac!

Very nice location. The place is very beautiful. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. Due to the pandemic, we couldn't try their restaurant for dinner or breakfast. Big advantage is that you're on grande allée, so there's plenty of restaurants nearby. One advice, reserve those restaurants in advance. The hotel is also very close to the old Quebec so you'll have a lot of stuff to do. All in all, a great place

Absolutely amazing. The staff were amazing and charming. Always felt extremely welcoming the moment we stepped inside. The rooms are very clean, cute, and adequate. Nothing felt cheap or thrown together. Bravo. Will definitely come back and will be my first suggestion to anyone who comes to Quebec City for a visit.
