Wali Tangi Dam is about 30 km from Quetta but because of tough hilly road it takes more than one hour to complete.Wali Tangi Dam is not meant for Electricity Generation but only a reservoir of Spring water which can be utilized in future as Hydle power Station. The journey requires Good vehicle and driving Skill. The natural scenes are amazing and clean atmosphere really attracts tourists. It is worth Visiting at least once if you happened to be in Quetta for sometime.Remember to get an entry pass from Station Headquarters to avoid inconvenience and also you must have plenty of drinking water with you .No tyre repair or workshop can be found along your way.So enjoy your trip and meet your challenges of driving hiking biking and BBQ.Wish you safe journey and happy Return.

A good place to visit and enjoy your time with friends and family. You have to take a pass from station Headquarters and for Dam Visit special permission is required. Boat ride and waterfall are the best things

Very nice place to visit. About 25 km from Quetta. As it is a protected area, do not forget to take necessary visiting permit in advance from Quetta Cantt.

A beautiful place and diminishing heaven in Quetta. Still beautiful, after it is taken oven by security agencies for better safety of all. It is cleaner then before with good sign boards for visitors education. Very serene view and calmness due to wilderness. A true heaven to visit.

Good place to visit with family and friends. Road is in terrible condition. Sedan cars can't go there it's better to hire 4X4. There are no guest houses to stay. It's all natural beauty. There are no facilities like washroom, rest area etc so be prepared.

A wonderful place to visit when you are in Quetta. (Wali Tangi dam ) Streams from Dam continued and families gathered around them to enjoy. Road to wali tangi is 4x wheel drive and for good drivers. At entry there is pass which Cost 500to700pkr per ride. Dam is maintained by Pak Army, boating is also available but you have to bring fuel with you approx 5-6 litres. The mountains around give you mysterical feelings , indeed a scenic beauty.

Extremely beautiful and peaceful place. This was a very good thing that there were a large number of families were present in the valley and camping and cooking along with water channel coming from Dam towards quetta city. From Dam to the source of water is a hiking track. Hiking lovers can hike on that path.

Wali Tangi Dam is a small dam in the Urak Valley in Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is situated approximately 20 km east of Quetta at an elevation of approximately 8,350 ft. The dam stores and utilizes fresh water from melting snows in the surrounding Zarghoon Hills, which are part of the Sulaiman Range. It is tourist and an adventurous place. You can come here with family and friends. Army controlled area, safe for picnics. I visited that place with friend and found it mesmerizing, you will reached there by climbing mountains. A very adventurous experience of a life time.

Great tourist attraction.. A peaceful place and mesmerizing scenery.. The farther you go the better you feel.. waterfalls, water flowing beneath the hills, chashmas and yellow cuttings of mountains.. All you wont like to miss in quetta.. A pleasing environment and natural scenery.. waterfalls start after a walk of 30 mins through nullah beds ahead of dam.. Dam is the last point for vehicles. Dam is under construction with an army guesthouse located there.
