The name of the place is CRB or CRB Hills area, CRB Hill area has many small and big hills that makes the place views more attractive. This place located in the heart of Chittagong city. It is about 3 km from our Zero point from Chittagong New Market area. This area also have a circle road namely CRB 7 Raster Matha. From this circle whole CRB area easily can be seen. It seems to be a little green heaven in city. Many times I need to move through that place for my general works but whenever I remain less busy I stop for a while and keep watching the beauty of that place and also take a little rest by sitting under a tree at roadside! If you are close to nature this will attract you. The real beauty of CRB shows up at morning & afternoon. You must go & enjoy the beauty of green... And yeah CRB also know as the lungs of Chittagong.

"I absolutely ❤️ loved this place! It's a beautiful landmark filled with hills, century-old trees, and lush greenery. 🏔️🌲🌳 You can enjoy quality time here with your family and friends. The views are stunning, with beautiful trees all around. The area is clean and well-maintained. There are food courts available as well. Its full name is the "Central Railway Building." I highly recommend this place for a visit in Chittagong city."

CRB hill is a famous landmark in chattogram. This can be called the lungs of the city. This area is mainly owned by Bangladesh Railway. Hilly area with century old trees and modern establishments makes it look amazing. This place is refreshing to the eye and soothing to the mind. This is an everyday go to place to kill some time idly or with friends. People can sit idly and enjoy the cool breeze under the century old trees. There are also different types of food carts available to get something little to eat.

CRB= Central Railway Building. But this place is so much popular for visitors. The place is called 'lung' of the Chittagong city. There have a lot of trees of 100 years of age on the high hill area inside the busy city. Most famous 'Shirishtola' which is now a days used for different types of National occasion like Pahela Boishakh. Sunset view from the hill of CRB is so nice. This place now always remain crowded until late night as there are no refreshing place inside the city like CRB. Anybody (child to adult) will enjoy here.

In the afternoon it gets to much crowdy. But a nice place to sit and relax in deep wood. But deep areas are often used for drug purposes.

People come to visit this place everyday for passing time with friends & family and for playing cricket & football. It is also a beautiful place for exercise (like walking & cycling) and recreation for everybody as the greenery looks amazing! You will get street foods like Fuchka, Chotpoti, Jhalmuri, Icecream & ofcourse TEA here. CRB (Central Railway Building) is the governing office for the general manager of Bangladesh Railway. The building was completed in 1872. It is one of the oldest buildings of the port city. Also there is a residential area for the railway officers surrounding it.

The Central Railway Building (CRB) is situated in the scenic hilly area of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is the governing office for the general manager of Bangladesh Railway. Construction started in 1897, it is one of the oldest buildings of the port city. To the east, across CRB Road, is Railway Hospital at CRB, built in 1994.There is a proposal to establish a 50-bed medical college at CRB and up-grade the existing Railway Hospital to 250 beds. There is a residential area for the railway officers surrounding it. The principal (south) façade is two storeys high and 360 feet (110 m) in length with three projections: a large porte-cochère in the centre and semi-octagonal towers at either end. The porte-cochère consists of a five bay arcade with buttresses of corbelled brickwork at each corner. Each of the two vehicle entrances is spanned by a large pointed arch. The porte-cochère opens on to a 12 feet (3.7 m) wide continuous veranda with pointed arch openings, the tympana of which are filled with louvre frames for ventilation and shade. The veranda on the second storey wraps around the porte-cochère in a narrower strip supported by concrete brackets set on corbelled brick footings. This strip of veranda is covered with a sloping shingled roof. The entrance foyer is surmounted by a hemispherical dome. The blocks behind the semi-octagonal terminal projections are three storeys high. Pohela Boishakh or Nobo Borsho or Bengali New Year celebrated every year on the open stage called "Shireeshtala" at CRB area. This open stage surrounded by several old Albizia lebbeck trees, in Bengali it is called Shireesh. At the festival it is the centre of attraction for people of all ages. ➡️ Written by [ GW MAHMUD ]

CRB means Central Railway Building. It's a natural tourist spot in port city Chittagong. It is basically a hillside forest type area. During British ruling era, the headquarter of Railway (eastern part) was established here. Now there is the office of General Manager of Bangladesh Railway (East zone). There are also the Railway Hospital, Office of the Railway Chief Engineer (East), residance of Chairman Chittagong Port as well as the Superintendent of Police (Chittagong district). Several fields are there in CRB. Many people visit here at holidays.

The Chattogram Railway Building (CRB) stands as a highly esteemed historical landmark within the region. Renowned for its verdant hills and tranquil ambiance, it has earned the moniker of being the lungs of Chattogram. This serene location attracts individuals seeking solace, as they engage in activities such as strolling, meandering, exercising, conversing, and indulging in culinary delights. Moreover, the Shirish Tola area within CRB has been a longstanding venue for cultural events, including the annual Noboborsho Boron celebration.

Righty called the lungs of Chittagong city and without any doubt the city needs more green places like this. The main Central Railway Building along with the adjacent parks and fields were built in the late 1800s during British Raj, it was built as the headquarter for the Assam-Bengal railway. This is one place in Chittagong that was very well designed without harming nature, and this place is a good one for the locals and visitors to spend their leasure time and enjoy the natural beauty of the city.

The CRB field is a well-maintained and spacious area that is used for various sports such as cricket, football, and basketball. It is also used for jogging, walking, and other outdoor activities. The field is equipped with floodlights, which allows for night-time use. The field is a popular gathering spot for the local community, particularly during weekends and holidays. There are several food vendors and small shops near the field that cater to visitors and provide refreshments and snacks. In addition to its recreational uses, the CRB field is also occasionally used as a venue for community events such as concerts, cultural festivals, and fairs. Overall, the CRB field is an important community space that serves as a hub for sports, recreation, and cultural activities in Chittagong
