Really pretty and eclectic place. Lots of fun for kids to wander around in. Can also be very romantic. Food is ok but not as good as it used to be ( menu is now much smaller as well).

We held סדר פסח במקום בלב. IT WAS TOP NOTCH ; We were 35 people; some of us came from abroad. Lots of kids; The table as seen in the photo was beautifully set; everyone at Makom Balev took care of every detail; came to make sure all is great just before; and even left us dishes to take leftover home. Everyone had great fun and it was all fabulous! Thank you!

Beautiful location, but I was there for a wedding and when I realized the food was not Kosher - cheese and meat on the same buffet, someone said there was shrimp, with no warning in advance to the guests - the staff was extremely rude to me and made fun of my religiosity. I have no need for every restaurant to be Kosher, but I do expect the be treated with respect as a guest trying to ask clarifying questions on what I could eat

We came on a Friday morning, the place was very nice and we really liked the vibes. Service was good and food was also nice, though I would say the salmon and egg dish(the almost egg Benedict) was quite small for the price. The red shakshuka dish was very filling. I would recommend try this place (and better to book in advance)

Great location and great food although had to wait a very long time for service.

I'm so happy that this beautiful place was open again after too long they were closed. It is still located in a goursiose garden, a perfect place to feel outdoors in the city.

I like the place for its authentic look. Now they have good breakfast options . Recommend especially for breakfast on weekends

We’ve Had a great time. The food it tasty and the dish size is good. The first dishes are especially good, I loved the polenta. Also the desserts were great, recommending the bread pudding. The stuff is very nice, welcoming and took care of all our needs and requests. A GREAT place 👍🫶

A lovely restaurant located on the edge of the city. The food is good and the environment is pretty cool. The place has several ponds with frogs in them and some fish. You can walk around and have a nice time. The service is kind. Only downside is that the prices are pretty high. Bonus for a cute local dog 🐶.
