We’re coming back here every few months. This time we where very disappointed to discover that they installed ugly sets feathering ridiculous invented animal stories. We have enough of the artificial media at home and come here to enjoy nature but the kids are vacuumed to those terrible sets. Not to say the noise it evokes. Bad taste and a very strange choice to say the least

Sometimes it is hard to really grasp that this island actually exists in the center of Israel, where real-estate is what makes ppl tick here. so just for that reason it is a wonder. Otherwise, this is a great attraction for families, beginning with the car ride and then entering the zoo. The place is super friendly for families and kids of all ages, lots of parking and entertainment of the place. Though the Safari is possibly one of the oldest places I know, it is fully accessible and even has golf cart rentals.

It appeared as if the time they were closed did good to the safari and its inhabitants. We were there early around 9ish. Was not packed, most of the animals were eating breakfast so we got to see everyone. People were adhering to covid guidelines. Was clean and overall a very pleasant experience:)

This is the weak spot of the Safari, to see the lions need to go by car. It is recommended to go and see the lions early otherwise you will wait in a long traffic jam to get there. And usually it doesn't even worth it because they will be far so it will be hard to see them. Overall it is very nice place to spend a morning or even more with the kids

There's two parts first the drive through safari and then there's a zoo too where you can walk around ( or rent golf carts) there's public bathrooms and a few small stores to buy refreshments and souvenir's. The zoo is well set up and we had a great time. You can spend at least half a day here if not a whole day. It's all up to your personal pace. Enjoy

We've had a great day out with my neices and nephew at the Safari in Ramat Gan. Was lovely driving around the open space seeing the wildlife. Was a bit disappointing for the kids when we've got to the lions area as the lions were resting in the high grass and far from the road so all the kids could see was one of the lion's leg popping out of the grass... And they were waiting to see lions... In the zoo part we've had great fun but mainly because we rented a golf cart. Which was not cheap. But was the only way for 4 years old to see the full zoo which is massive. They wouldn't be able to walk it all without getting exhausted at the end. It's a beautiful zoo with lots of animals from all over the world. Was great for the kids (I was extremely impressed by Yossi the elephant! I mean I saw elephants in Thailand, this one was twice if not triple their size! He was huge!). There was a lovey picnic zone there, and if you didn't pack your lunch there was an Italian restaurant on the premesis too. I gave it 4 starts and not 5 as I think the golf carts should be cheaper or even combined with the entrance ticket, at least for families with young children or people with mobility problems (my mom has a broken leg and that's the only reason we rented this cart but otherwise we would walk it all not realising how big it is and the kids would have missed out on a lot of areas...) Highly recommend to visit, at any age, but especially with children.
