I am absolutely furious by the way my husband and I were treated tonight at Holmes Place Ramat Gan! I have been a member since February 2017 when it was Zeus. My husband recently joined about 3 weeks ago. We go there to supplement the training from a personal trainer we have at home from the kupat holim. We were on the treadmills and a personal trainer by the name of Amichai Shahaf comes up to my husband and says "I've seen you here for 3 weeks and you don't look like anything has improved," which is a disgusting thing to say in the first place, but then he goes on and on shaming us for using a private trainer at home and that we should use him. When he realized that we did not want his services, he walked away. At that point, I wanted to complain for what he said, but my husband stopped me. It got worse when the personal trainer came back to us and said to my husband, "Are you sure you don't want to use a personal trainer?" and my husband said "no we're happy with the one we have at home," Amichai then said well you know what everyone can smell how bad you smell and you need to put deodorant on," How does anyone speak to a client like that? My husband went to talk to a shift manager named Itay who said that he will have the trainer apologize. The trainer never apologized and instead closed the door to the office after we asked for his name. I was very upset at this time and went upstairs to speak with Itay who gave me the lame excuse that Amichai was in a bad mood today. Bad mood or not, you do not treat your clients like that. Later on I found out that the trainer made that deodorant comment because I wasn't aware at first of it and I went back to Itay who said he was taking care of it. I asked another worker when the Club Manager will be working in the morning and no one could give me a straight answer. It completely ruined the rest of my day and makes me very upset to come back to Holmes Place. The manager of the cafe felt bad and allowed us to have free drinks. He did more than what the shift manager Itay did. Corporate is not returning any of my messages. The club manager called us from his personal phone to say that he's sorry we feel this way but he can not force an employee to apologize. He is working on transferring my husband to another club which is further away and doesn't care what I have to say even though I've been a member for 2 years and spent thousands of shekels and said since I have a multi-club membership, I can follow my husband to another branch. I am still absolutely furious and I hate how they have walked all over me. We are not renewing and they have lost us as members when the contract is over.

This place is full of egomaniacs, the training staff particularly. First, they told me I couldn't workout in my Converse shoes because they weren't "sport" shoes. Mine do have leather instead of Converse's traditional canvas, but aren't different in any other way. Since when are Converses not a sport shoe? Second, the trainer had a problem with my shorts. She says they aren't "sport". The shorts I was wearing were Nike brand golf shorts; the stretchy khaki kind. I can do full depth squats in them very comfortably. It literally felt like the trainers were just trying to find a reason to confront me. While one trainer was kicking me out for my "non-sport" shoes, another trainer was kissing and groping his girlfriend on the workout floor, while training a client. Very unprofessional. It's obvious the trainers here are simply bullies, doing everything they can to feel powerful while making many of the guests uncomfortable. I have over 10 years experience working in the fitness industry. I can say with certainty, the trainers here are EVERY reason normal people stay away from gyms.

They don't know what is customer support and how to do it. I wanted to cancel membership because I don't want to make a third shot against covid19. By phone they told me that I need to come in person to cancel. Today when I came they told me that I cannot enter even for cancellation without a third shot and they will do cancellation by phone! Do you believe that? Non sense! For $120 per month I would expect at least decent customer support.

I am working out at Holmes place since may 2017 and there is a basic problem over there: - They are not oriented to the customer but to themselves - You can see the instructors treating the customer in a really non professional way since the way they speak to the customer to the way they behave between themselves. Too much ego and low service. For example: If you want to use the machine and the personal trainer is making what they call "super set" (using more than one machine at once) they have the "preference". One of them tried to just kick me out from the machine without any respect but I said that I was using it and the Personal Trainer just got really rude (no towel on the machine) Small Structure for busy hours, go there on alternative hours (early in the morning, middle of afternoon for example) because on the rush hours it is crowded and the israelis have no patience to wait their turn to use the machine. I really want to thank the Reception management and the cleaning management for their positive attitude! They listen, they say "hello" to you and they seem to be the only polite people over there. I would like to say just positive things but It would be a lie Holmes place, improve that fast please! =D

It's ok as it's eight next to my work... but the place is very small and crowded. And some of the staff (like the pool life guard) are just not very nice to the customers.

The equipment is brand new or in excellent condition. But the staff is not responsive and sometimes just ignoring your requests. Some instructors exhibit a remarkable lack of knowledge of the "workout stuff", but others are high-level professionals you can rely on. The problem is how to identify the first and the latter. The price is high but the main reason is prime location. Large and clean pool. Sauna is not bad at all

My preferred Holmes place as of now. Located at a center building with plenty of windows so the place is nicely lit, which for some reason is important to me

Great gym, no jacuzzi, good swimming pool. Good Dry sauna, in the wet Sauna - a bit smell of mold. Update: they took care of it.

To many people. The place itself looks old, and not clean enough.

Holmes Place is great. However I don't like the inner design of the changing rooms and showers. The lockers are too far from the showers, and the the whole area is unisex, so you can't walk around in a towel. Also, not enough light in the saunas.
