Security needs to be improved. Join Viva Gym if you want your gym lock to be broken and valuable phone and cash to be stolen. Completely unsafe. And Mangament can't do anything to assist in case of an emergency. No access to CCTV footage in locker rooms. Lost a valuable Samsung Note 8 that I just purchased and R1000 worth of cash.

The gym gets too full to even have a chance at having a proper workout. Expect your workout to be more half an hour longer due to this. Secondly make sure you are aware of all the hidden costs especially for cost that they should have told you about.

The lockers gets broken into, the management does not even release cameras footage to assist the police. This is an ongoing thing, as I have spoken to a few gym members, who's lockers were also broken into. Stay away from Virgin Active Broadacres and share this post for everyone's awareness

Very disappointed with my experience at Virgin Active Broadacres, my locker was broken into within the first 20 minutes of being in the gym. Absolutely no assistance from the GM of VA Broadacres. I would not recommend this club to any VA members, family or friends stay away!!!!!

Beautiful facilities, very clean and staff are friendly n helpful.

Guaranteed at least once a week the aircon does not work or so hot you cannot breathe inside. Yet, membership must be paid in full every month. Not fair . . . .

terrible, i signed up for a free pass and they wouldn’t let me in...... rude and unhelpful staff... the gym was completely empty and i understand why, i don’t think anyone would want be around that vibe

Conveniently located and well equipped in cognisance of the size. A good set of classes available, as well as a selection of personal trainers. There is no swimming pool.

I was a member of Viva Gym for about a year and am now ending my contract due to emigration. I want to thank the staff and management of Viva for providing excellent facilities at an affordable rate, which has been integral to my fitness journey. Towards the end of my membership, I traveled to Cape Town and had to visit a different gym there. I paid an exorbitant day rate, the weights were so old that they had lost their markings so I had no idea what I was lifting, the floor was filthy, and the gym was completely overcrowded despite me going at off-peak times. Coming back to neat, clean, well-stocked Viva at the end of my trip was like returning home and I breathed a sigh of relief as I walked through the Viva doors. Keep it up, Viva!

Cant judge the actual gym as ive never been there. But thats probably because I tried phoning numerous times and not once was the call connected to any living soul. Even the ' phone me back' option was completely unsuccessful.

This gym needs to place more light weights in their weight section downstairs, there is usually no light dumbbells for ladies to use there which is why I can never train arms at this Virgin Active.

Awesome, friendly, helpful service. The staff helped me switch my Virgin Active membership over from a different Virgin Active gym to this one within minutes. They walked me through the gym and explained everything to me so that I know exactly where everything is, which the gym I signed up at didn't even do. They are also open much longer hours than the Virgin Active gym where I was previously a member, which makes it much more convenient for me. There is a sauna and a steam room which I don't recall seeing at the Virgin Active where I was previously a member.

Nice layout and well equipped. But extremely messy! No one puts away their mats and equipment, the personal trainers are the worst in this respect. The Kauai us also quite poor.

It's much better than I expected. Spacious with all the machines and weights you'll ever need. Space/area for sled pushing, battle ropes, assault bikes and lunges. And all other normal gym amenities. At R399/month on a month-to-month contract, it's great value for money!

What a brilliant place. They never stop cleaning, sanitizing the place. Very friendly staff. I feel so sorry it's closed down for the moment due to the last new rules since last week. I can't wait to go back for my swim, my daily endorphins. But meanwhile take care all!

Fantastic gym but mire importantly presently supporting Discovery Health Vaccine Initiative. Had our fist Vaccine there and getting the second tomorrow very organised, quick and efficient . We'll done guys yiy are really playing your part in helping the country through this pandemic .

Virgin Active Broadacres is great, and I would highly reccomend it to even the most discerning gym goer. It is also a great place to catch up on a few emails, while having a healthy bite to eat, from the in-house Kauai Café. I really enjoy the fact that it has 3 different levels, with a great variety of gym appartus and space on each! It never feels over crowded to me, and there is always a positive vibe amongst the patrons. I also like the fact that the children have their own secure gym/play area where they are safe, while Dad or Mom are getting on with their own workout! The bathrooms are well kept and always neat and presentable too. Staff are very friendly and there is someone ready to help, where necessary. Definetly worth a visit, if you're in the area!

Aqua pool too warm and very shallow for a tall person like me. The main pool is a good temp, but not ideal for aqua as even as a tall person I could barely stand

Because of loadshedding the off peak time my contract allows there is no steam, no sauna and the pool heater is off, the machines, treadmills and stationary bicycles also needs electricity to work. Other than that the people are great. Thank you

The gym was really clean, the staff was friendly, the gym equipment was clean and enough for everyone. The yoga studio was my favourite, it’s so calm and zen.

A good gym, as expected from Virgin. Most equipment if up to date although the weights are slightly old and are not all the same version. Neat and tidy with a pleasant atmosphere. Quiet at times. Although, the gym community here is very restricted. People aren't sociable, not too friendly. If your a powerlifter or bodybuilder and deadlift heavy, it's obv the weight will make a noise when going down. The Staff don't like this, so it's hard to go about your powerlifting. There is minuim equipment on the bottom floor so during busy hours you will have to try and share, for example one hamstring curl Machine

The most useless and pathetic gym! The manager obviously has no brain cells because of he or she did, they would have sorted out the fact that there has been no power for 3 weeks at the gym. Because of this - we cannot gym at the times we are able to. Nothing has been done about it! Absolutely pathetic. Broadacres management is honestly useless!

They are long overdue to invest in a power back up… This is beyond absurd now. In addition the Wattbikes are ALL not calibrated so almost useless. They need to get their act together
