Wow! My new favourite restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was beyond yummy! We tried Lamb kebabs, Samosa chaat, Butter Chicken, Fish Curry, and Roti. Everything was impeccable. The truth is I’ve lived in the area and passed by this restaurant for many years. It just never occurred to me to check it out! Can’t wait to come back to try more dishes!

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Adrak for our Christmas dinner this year. We found ourselves alone this year and didn't want to prepare a large meal and thought we'd try dinning out for the first time in our lives. What a great decision. The entire staff made you feel like you were family and the atmosphere was one of peace an tranquility. While we love food from this part of the world, we are not experts and simply said "feed us". And feed us they did. Every dish was wonderful, allowing us to sample many different tastes. We will definitely return and would highly recommend Adrak - thanks again for making this year's Christmas Dinner one of the best ever.

Adrak has quickly become my new favorite Indian Restraunt. The flavors are so bold and the meat is always perfectly tender and juicy. I highly recommend the non-vegetarian platter to start which includes a mix of different meat varieties done in tandoori style. My mouth is watering just thinking of it! I always enjoy my time here. Most recently, Terry and Varun were outstanding hosts and shout out to the both of them for facilitating a wonderful evening out. I'll be back soon! Keep up the wonderful food and service!

The owner is not very friendly. Claims the restaurant is fine dining but the staff touch the straw with hand and serve the food with thumbs is the bowl. Not friendly staff. Will not return. PS this is not a garden salad worth $7. 😂😂😂

Been here a few times now. Usually a good experience, however the non-veg dishes weren't up to the mark when we visited recently. The veg dishes were really good. Usually the non beg kebabs are good however this specific one was not great. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable on the dishes. The ambiance is great. Make sure to book ahead of time when you visit, it's a busy restaurant usually.

This restaurant is a place for Indian food. Staff is well trained. I ordered Soya chaap, which was very soft and tasty. Paneer khada masala was also nice. However, there is a raw taste of chicken in Afghan murgh masala. Naan was well baked and Gulabjamun was also nice. not to mention, both were very soft. I definitely like to visit again (not for chicken dishes though). Overall I am satisfied with the service and food.

Went for dinner after 8 years… nothing has really changed, well almost nothing. The service is still very slow, the restaurant atmosphere looks out dated and the food has gotten very expensive. How do you charge $6 plus tax plus tip for one piece of nan. The nan was not even that good. Overall the food is just ok. The alcohol price is very expensive as well.. yes the prices have gone up every where but it should be reasonable.

Food is very unreasonably expensive with low quality. Lots of tiny bones in the lamb stew. In the mix rice there was a plum pit. I almost broke my teeth. The manager didn’t care after I told him about that. He stated this is how this rice supposed to be. My daughter asked them no hot and spicy food as she is allergic to that. The stew was too spicy that she cannot eat it. When I told the manger he said it is not too spicy. I asked for a little bit of yogurt so she can cool down he charged us $8 for a few spoons of yogurt. Their customer service is terrible. When I was there was another customer yelling in front of the door due to the problems with their takeout food.

Extremely disappointed in this restaurant. The service was super slow as they don’t seem to assign specific servers to each table and you basically get help from whoever seems to be available. The Biryani dish was actually cold. When I was trying to make reservations I called a restaurant a bunch of times but nobody ever answers the phone. The quality and taste of other dishes were just mediocre. The biggest issue I had with this place was the entire restaurant was filled with smoke as they did not seem to have proper ventilation above their grill.

The best Indian restaurant in GTA, period. The head chef Rahul has done a great job bringing the taste of Delhi to Canada. The staff is very kind hearted, courteous and they never keep you waiting. Quick on their toes and yet keeping quiet. Food: This can be very subjective but I will just try and give my honest feedback. We ordered a bunch of items on the Menu, the best was the Delhi Butter chicken and the Rara Lamb curry. In Vegetarian, we liked the Kadhai paneer. I personally dont like too much dairy cream in the food, but here, the Dal Makhni has the right amount of cream and the taste is perfectly balanced. The Saag Adrak gave a homely feeling. The Saunfiani Tikka was dry to eat. Portion Size: The portion size is very good, we were a family of 5, and every curry on the table was enough for all us. Service: Service is top notch. Ambience: A fine dine in, classy. What I liked is that usually in restaurants, the music is too loud, lights are too dim, nothing of that sort here. You can talk without the noise of music bothering you. Rating: 5/5 A special shoutout to the floor manager Manjit and the bartender Harry for serving us the mocktails that they have aced in. This is a must must try.

Overall service was superb, the staff was very professional and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty without being too spicy. If you can’t handle your spice, they will provide yoghurt for you to cool the heat down. Lots of options for vegetarian as well as meat lovers. While they have Jain options, would be nice if they can make more dishes for Jain option. Overall a great experience although a little pricy.

The food was outstanding! We had a celiac in our party and the kitchen and server were very good at identifying what was safe to eat and preparing starters for the whole table. The service was sadly lacking. We were well attended when we sat down and ordered drinks and food. Unfortunately it seemed like our servers shift ended or they went on break because we did not get service for a good 30 to 40 minutes. We did not get water refills, no one asked if we wanted a second round of drinks and when we were finished I had to walk up to an employee and request our table be cleared and our bill brought to us. I would give them a second chance but we were only visiting Toronto for a couple days and won't have the chance. Worth the visit for the outstanding food, I'm sure our experience was a fluke.

Went for my bday. They played Happy birthday song. you could also order cake and stuff but we didnt do that. Overall, Very interesting (not usual Indian menu) and extremely tasty. Kitchen closes at 10:15PM on a Tuesday. The ambience was posh. We ordered the following. 1. Nadroo ki shammi - Lotus patty. Very interesting. Taste and spice was good. 2. Kataifi paneer- Mango tamarind sauce that came with it. I loved it. Tangy and crunchy. 3. For main course, we (family of 4) ordered lacha paratha, garlic nan and two rumali roti along with 2 curries. Rumali roti was soo hot and good size when served. Lacha paratha was soo flaky and light. loved all the breads. 4. Curries- anjeer chilgozey ke kofta- Loved the gravy. Kofta was a bit sweet so 2 people loved it and two people were like Meh. 5. Paneer Khada masala- Loved this. Very rick gravy, correct spice level, good amount of paneer.

Hello Everyone at Adrak! You were all just too good during my visit to the Richmond hill Branch. From the manager to the waiting staff, everyone was perfect. The food was really good, in particularly the Soya Tikka - we thoroughly enjoyed them and not to forget the signature Caesar :). I returned back to London with fond memory. Truly appreciate the great service we received. Thank you all and special thanks to Ambica who organised everything.

A very interesting layout, incredibly unique drinks, great portions and authentically delicious food, even as a South Asian person, I was taken aback with how delicious everything was. And service was incredibly friendly. For an upscale Indian place, they’ve really mastered the craft, would definitely come again!

Fantastic… the food was incredible! We ordered the vegetarian platter, samosa, lamb curry, Anjeer Chilgozey Ke Koftey and finally the chai. All delicious, food also came out very quickly. Service was amazing, Harry was super friendly and the entire staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. Will definitely be back!

This place is just ok. The service was good, but the food should have been the highlight, and it was not. The food tasted average and didn't really have a lot of flavor. The place is too expensive for what it is and could probably be justified if the food was good. Will not return.

Ambiance was romantic. There are safety screens between tables. Food was absolutely delicious. We started with kasturi kebab, and ordered the roganjosh curry with basmati rice. It came with complimentary chips. The lala’s lassi drink is a classic. This was enough for the two of us and we still had leftovers. Such a gem in York region. Highly recommended.

This is a new find for us and I must say, what a treasure for Indian cuisine . I wanted to give 4.5 star , only because we just tried couple of dishes. After the second visit, I am sure I will change to 5😊 We ordered Rann e sikanderi (lamb dish) (well in advance over phone as this might not be available on spot), Rumaali Roti, Chicken Lollipop. All the dishes are 10/10. Rumali Roti- so far I got the exact taste while staying outside kolkata for more than 15 years!!! Other than the dishes, their hospitality was amazing. Thanks to Rahul(head chef ) who offered us Tadka daal(just sample tasting but it was in very good quantity 😀. Thanks to Varun for his hospitality!!! We are definitely coming back to try more dishes and already has informed many friends about this place.

The place was great. Great ambience and quality food served. Great drinks, appetizers, main course and deserts. Would highly recommend the kofta curry (in house speciality), the chicken biryani, and for desert the Malpua Rabri. Kush had provided a great service, and his food recommendations were spot on.

Have come to Adrak Restaurant on 2 occasions and every time, I’m quite impressed with the presentation of the food, service quality and of course, the taste of the Authentic Indian Food. For years, hadn’t tasted one as good as the well known restaurant in Kingston, ON, but I think I’ve finally found an Indian Restaurant in Toronto/GTA that I will continually want to go to. I look forward to returning and trying out more dishes! :) Tips: - Make a reservation in advance through open-table - Parking is available at the front or back of the building

Not an amazing experience due to the following reasons: 1. Food: Seekh kabab from a non- veg platter tasted stale which ruined the entire experience. 2. Drinks: After inquiring from the manager, ordered the tamarind mock tail, it wasn't sweet at all. Overly tangy. As an Indian, you can easily relate the taste of the dip we get with samosas. 3. Wait time: Only one person was running around taking orders and handing out cheques for payments. Had to wait really long just to ask them to repeat a specific order. 4. Lights: To add to the ambience they have arranged low lights. To add additional experience they have added table decor (cute & small light changing lamp shade) to few tables not sure why it's not for all tables. 5. Cake: If they don't entertain outside food, then they should specify clearly in their website or somewhere. Nowadays restaurants who don't allow outside cake, provide their own cake/pastry/cup cake as a gesture to increase footfalls but this place took away our cake and started arguing about it using aggressive tone. I hope their staff learns how to communicate with customers politely. Especially this happened before entering the sitting area. It was a big turn off for all of us as we had heard good reviews about this place and we were really looking forward to experiencing it. Maybe we won't be going back to this place ever. Samosa chat was good and so was veg platter.

Food and Ambience is really good, as soon as we serve our food hostess are so eager to take away our dishes and looks like they want customers to leave place immediately without providing proper time for decisions. service need to improve.

The decor and ambience was absolutely amazing, the staff was exceptionally proficient and understanding. The food was new and delicious without being excessively zesty. Loved the presentation of dishes. Lots of choices from veg and non-vegetarian. The food was amazing and fresh and properly marinated as well, cooked to perfection. Absolutely Would recommend.

Came to celebrate Father's day with my daughter. Sat outdoors. The place was very well managed. They took our temp before we sat down and everyone was wearing masks. The food was on point. We tried the butter chicken and it was not as savoury as I like but still very good. The place was busy but given the limited capacity it was very good. Have the dham Biriyani its really good. Will come back again for other options soon. Thank you for making my father's day memorable

Some of the food we ordered was very delicious and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. However, the biryani was not that great, I have had better before. It is simply rice and lamp. No real taste of biryani and it is very spicy even though we did not order the spicy one. Overall, not the best, not the worst.

I have tried Adrak a few times mostly for take out as their lunch combos both veg and non veg are amazing. Recently visited to celebrate my wife’s bday. The ambience was pleasing for the occasion setting is very comfortable. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and mains. Drinks - ordered classic mojito( good), Nizam old fashioned (recommended), Chamak Challo (too sweet) Appetizers - tandoori chicken and jack fruit kebabs. The chicken quantity is great and meat is flavorful and succulent. The kebabs was also soft and paired well with the mint chutney. Mains: Mutton rogan josh(go-to dish), Paneer Chilgozey Koftey , daal makhani, garlic naans and rumali roti. Everything was great so you can’t go wrong with ordering these items. This quantity was sufficient for a family of 4 adults.

Restaurant is facing a prime road however it is arduous to actually get there as you have to enter from a back street. The restaurant is located in an office complex. We learnt that it has been there for 9 years or so. We were asked for reservations and we noted we did not have any, was surprised that the hostess asked for full name, email and telephone to enter into her iPad, so we asked why and she responded so that the table that is assigned will be removed from the system so that others can not book that table online. Never heard of that before. I am sure that there must be another way rather then garnering that information in person. The food was okay but not very wow impressive. The papad basket was mixed with other wafers. Honestly thought that this particular item was over priced and not worth it. Service was okay I suppose but not impressionable. They lacked the attention to detail. We wanted some chutneys and we had to ask 3 times before the manager did bring it however by that time we had finished our dish.

The mix appetizer was amazing. The naan bread and the rumali roti. The naan bread was really good and the rumali roti was good. Some of the main dishes like the chicken dum Biryani and the chicken kadahi was average. We also ordered the Dhai Puri was good.

Probably one of the best Indian food experience I had in canada. Service top notch. Ambience amazing Food excellent. We came here after treated horribly in other Indian restaurant nearby. Ambience here was very fine dining but casual at the same time. Every one working here was very welcoming and knows what they were doing. Unfortunately i don’t remember their names but the entire team including chefs working on sept 7th dinner service big shoutout to you guys you are the one who is making this dining experience great. Food was very authentic and the best food, I ever had in canada. Service was very precise and smooth. Ambience was very comforting. Couldn't take all the photos but will update it soon. Visiting again tomorrow. Cheers 🍻

Went for lunch. The food was delicious and so well cooked. The chicken was very tender and juicy. Dal makhani was the best dal I’ve had in Canada. The prices were on a higher side but other than that the food was worth it. The ambience is great too.

Treated for lunch to celebrate Father's Day 06.17.2023. Was welcomed by a representative who was very friendly and accommodating. The entire order was delivered simultaneously within a reasonable time which passed by quickly. The meals were delicious and the personnel dropped by frequently (always smiling) to see if any further service was required. I struck up an interesting conversation with one of the staff and found we had several experiences in common.

Adrak was an extremely pleasant experience! I was impressed by the service provided for my dinner. The food was quite good. We ordered the vegetarian platter, which had 3-4 pieces of several appetizers. The price was quite steep ($55), but the flavours were excellent. The curries we got were also good, however they did not stand out compared to other places I've visited. The servers refilled out waters consistently, checked up on us, and even provided we towelettes and Indian spice mints for us at the end! Overall, Adrak was enjoyable and perfect for anyone looking for a good combination of Indian food and good service.

After a long time we all went out for lunch from work. I was searching to find a nice place and good food and came across Adrak restaurant. The reviews looked good so I made a reservation. Well the food was amazingly good. The presentation and the taste was exceptional. Also the service was the best, the waiters were very tentative. Everyone from work really loved and enjoyed the food as well. They made a point of thanking for booking at this restaurant. I love love the food there and I will be definitely going back for sure.

Every Single Review Counts! Honestly the Best Restaurant in the GTA for North Indian Cuisine. Excellent service, top notch food, nice ambience, superb menu to order from. It can be considered as a full fledged fine dine restaurant. Spices in the food seem perfectly balanced, good portions in a platter...Authentic India Vibe!!! I personally try to figure out how can I improve any platter from any restaurant that I go to, but I couldn't do it here. Food seems so perfect.

We hosted our son’s baptism luncheon at Adrak. The team there was very accommodating and the service was excellent and flawless for the entire event. Varun the manager had great recommendations for our menu as a lot of our family and friends have never tried Indian food, and they loved everything on the menu and said it was delicious. The event space/restaurant is very stylish and modern. It’s a great venue for any event. We were even able to place some decorations and it all looked very beautiful. And once again, the staff was amazing!! They were always replenishing the food and drinks and all our guests were very happy. We would definitely recommend Adrak 100%, you’ll be very satisfied!

Adrak is one of the best Indian restaurants in the GTA with fine dining and great service. For vegetarian, Paneer Sirka Pyaaz is the best main course dish. It's a must try. It's quite different in taste than other Paneer main course dishes at other restaurants. Every item we ordered was delicious.
