One of my fav hookah place in Toronto !! What a cool place. The owners are great and extremely friendly. Great customer service, great vibe and reasonable price. Great portion food size and very delicious. Definitely would recommend.

Good food, disappointing service. We visited on a weekend for my sister's birthday. The food was beyond our expectations, really tasty and well prepared. The service however was poor, the waitress seemed careless for our requests and almost tried to say no to everything, or delay it, while it wasn't even a full house. We asked for some tea and were never given, we asked for new charcoal for the Shisha 3 times and it didn't arrive until 40 minutes. The entire crowd was being served by only two waitresses and I understand despite the fact that it wasn't a full house, they were overwhelmed but it doesn't justify being rude and careless toward customers. The second waitress, dealing with the same situation, but ours just rushed to get rid of the customers. I love Behesht's food but without respect, it's not worth going back, unfortunately. :(

I had dinner and hookah pipe with my family, the food was tasty and literally brought me back to my home country .The Persian style of decoration was appreciated. Polite and kind staff also fair prices . Definately will return!

The 2 stars are just for food. Atmosphere is always weird. The way the owners look at you is strange. Prices are through the roof, quality is not consistent, same with service. Watch out! They are already charging you "gratuity" on your bill! Do not add tips! WE SHOULDN'T BE PAYING THE DJ. YOU SHOULD!

Their kebab was not just a simple one. In fact, it was exceptional and phenomenal. We discovered that it was comprised of some well-known chemical elements, such as Mg and Fe, along with actual meat, which prevents it from being so flexible and soft. Indeed, it makes it so straight and hard, like a stone, that you could use it as a rule in your future math tests. Besides, it made their Kebab taste unique. Should you try it, it will be the last time use visit that particular store, not because of their quality but because of the severe digestion issues that would send you directly to God.

Wonderful authentic Iranian food and atmosphere. Wish more locations would incorporate the bed-type relaxed seating like Behesht. The food is genuinely very good. Even if the price is slightly higher than other places, the atmosphere makes it worthwhile.

Pros: Great DJ and Karaoke. Cons: very rude servants (not all of them. I've been told the owner asks them to be that rude. Can't confirm though). Tips: make sure to check your bill before paying. You may be surprised! Just saying. Also, they add the tip to your bill. Check that one too. That was my first and last visit to this place. Not recommended at all.

We sat outside in the booth (cushions, pillows, each table had a hand sanitizer bottle and tissue box). We throughly enjoyed the quiet evening with music playing in the background. The inside of the restaurant lounge has been paid attention to in such detail. There are paintings, furniture and even a water fountain that fits so well to the theme of this place. I have a take points away for the food. I was very excited to try my kabob sandwich and couldnt finish it as it the texture was offputting. The beef tasted undercooked and it had pieces of spices. The tea came in a pot with candle. It was very tasty. It was a slow evening for this restaurant. We were possibly only a handful at the place that night. The server was very attentive and everything was handled in a timely manner.

I called and ask if there is a minimum spend and if I can go with an 8years old. They told me 8years old has not a minimum spend and each adult should spend minimum 25$. At the time we decided to leave they told us you need to spend more since each person Must to spend minimum 25$! I reminded them of my call and that I checked the price before purchasing, she said max she can do 30$ minimum spend! Our bill came over 75$. I’m unhappy because I called and asked before going and then they twisted their words. DJ was very good.

Just came back from the Wednesday Karaoke Night. The place is fun, the food quality was interestingly good and staff were very fun and nice people. They serve Shisha as well so if you like Shisha you will like this place but if you have problem with that you might want to reconsider. I personally don’t smoke but I was not bothered much.

They did not give us a bill and just gave us the final amount. We ended up paying the tip two times (they already charged 15% service fee and we also paid tip on total amount). They deliberately do this and when we asked for the bill they were hesitating to give it to us. Also, they were super rude! I don't recommed this place. The management is not honest and do not have integrity. BTW, if you read other reviews you will see that they have repeated this over and over! (charging the tip twice)

This restaurant used to be one of my favourites because of traditional ambiance; however, since few years ago the prices went up and quality dropped. They add some charges to your bill without telling you in advance. Last time I called and asked if they have entrance fee and they said no! They charged dj fee in the bill though and when I asked why didn’t tell when I called, they simply said this is not the entrance fee. I guess I should have asked if they have exit fee!! Never go back again.

Unfortunately the shisha is really bad here an also pricey. It's a very small shisha but it tastes like burned. The staff are not the best one . Price for the atmosphere and food is not good, they need to have more staff for the weekends. Not recommend

As much as we like the place and food I have to say that the server was so rude. We called to make a reservation the server named Kiana said that we cannot make reservations as Thursdays we have a DJ ( which it wasn’t true). We asked that if they serve Turkish coffee and she said no, I told her that we like the place and we are group of over 10 people if we bring the coffee and mugs ourselves can you guys make it, she said yes. When we arrive we told her about Turkish coffee and she said it ok but first place your order for food and shush’s and then when you are done I’ll take care of the coffee. We all ordered the food, drink , tea, nuts and Everest the end she said uh sorry we are busy and I didn’t say that we can make I said I will bring you the hot water so you mix it . She was so rude and gives everyone attitude. She only wanted us to go there and order everything then at the end dent the promise she made. Such dirty way of doing business. I always like the place but with tonight experience this is the last time I go there or recommend anyone to go. I am so sorry for the owner of the business who let their servers run their business like this.

The quality of food was very very bad. I got koobideh and the meat was very foul tasting, We ordered a kashke bademjan to go, and the potion was extremely small. Lastly, they over charged us. I will definitely avoid this place next time.

Been to this place a couple of times, service is great, very authentic, so many drinks options in the menu including alcohol I wouldn’t recommend food here, but I’m rating a cafe not a restaurant (3 stars for food)

I usually tip when I go to any restaurant based on their service and quality and it's literally optional but last night I had a bad experience which leads me to never come back to this restaurant again...I know it's not illegal to force customers to tip but without notifying ,it's gonna be a shady practice...because some customers don't know about auto-gratuity and add some extra tip on their bills which duplicates the tip...restaurants should be transparent with customers and notify them of auto-gratuity on the bill

Extremely kitsch but just what we were looking for to get the traditional Iranian “Ghafeh khooneh experience”. We got the coal samavar, which was extremely cool. Sat on a traditional “takht”. Hadn’t been somewhere like this since I was in Isfahan. My friend wanted BBQ’d jigar which they are known for but it wasn’t available when we went. Highly recommend the samavar.

My friends and I had a Falode here It was nice that they brought us fresh lime and the guy was really nice with good behavior But I think the price for that small Fallode was so expensive and the taste wasn't as delicious as I expected. The only thing I can mention is at least you can feel you are in Iran if you miss that atmosphere. But I'm not satisfied with the quality and price .

First of all, the bad experience I have from this restaurant was racism, which is unbearable. I have many Iranian friends, and I cannot compare their kindness with the rudeness and racism of the employees of this restaurant. Please be sure to check the bill before paying because my friends and I were faced with an unbelievable bill, this was about our first and last time of us in this restaurant, I am an Afghan and I really do not recommend this racist place to my fellow countrymen. And I feel sorry to the owner of this restaurant. امیدوارم انتقاد پذیر باشید و ناراحت نشده باشید☺️

Last night we were not served at the restaurant because we have previously asked the DJ to play an Afghan music and he refused. They asked us to leave because we were “disrespectful” to their DJ. You CAN’T attempt to make money under the name of “Kabul Night” and work with a DJ who can’t play even one Afghan song, and kick the Afghan customers out because they have asked him so. Standing against racist behavior IS NOT “disrespectful,” and reviewing a place you have been and ordered food from more than once isn’t “illegal.” The problem with your establishment hasn’t started with us and won’t end with us or with banning us. We refuse to take our business where we aren’t respected and welcomed because of who we are and it being brushed off under “disrespectful behavior.” While you are working on differentiating between legal and illegal reviews, please consider working on your service, and maybe taking the time to read reviews of other customers regarding your service, as well. Good Luck!!

Hi, happy new year, it was our second time there. The waitress in the photo was very rude and even shouted at us. It ruined our New Year's Eve. But it is impossible not to say this, the atmosphere is very good and the male waiter who brought the hookah was very polite, we thank him.

We went to this restaurant last night, the food was terrible, the kebab meat tasted like blood, there was a very bad smell of humidity in the hall, there is no ventilation at all, the music and the sound system were horrible, and finally, the service fee that is not available in any restaurant in Toronto. No, it was added in the invoice, if your money and time are not worth it, go to this ridiculous restaurant.

I visited here a week ago with my frinds to have a good night with singing and dancing . in karaoke The musiic was not enough. The service seems was great but it was not. They will charge for everything even . charcoal and tobacco which they do offer but does not mention the difference in expense. Their workers were so rude. . . :( Foods were okay but expensive. They will .charge a gratuity which is not a must Seriously, this was my last time going there.

Hi and happy new year to everyone ! Okay so this cafe is not a good place to chill and relax ! But a good place to get party like feeling since they have dj and all but there are multiple problems that i found which are the dj took too long to figure out the peoples vibes to match the music with it and everything and thats a very bad thing when you are charging people for it ! Yes that is true they only charge you if your not spending enough money to certain amount but the problem is if you went to this place enough times you'll understand that most of the people go there for shisha or they are just there to have small meals like fryes, drinks and all so yeah its not a good thing oh and the foods quality is very low ! Both fastfood items and other types (persian specifically) and the prices are high for that type of quality . But other than that it has a good environment with seat tables and access to everything they are responsive enough to bring you what you want before running out of patience or pressing the ring for the third time 😁 other than these everything else was awsome and clean and if not perfect its not gonna be less than good . And btw they have a very strict behavior about covid so have everything ready when you go there and listen to them 😁👍

Horrible service, I do NOT recommend this place and we’ll never go back there. They really need to train and educate their staff on how to behave and treat all customers the same or maybe it’s all coming from management team. There’s absolutely no place for racist people like them in this country. And also on their website said that they close at 1AM but they made us leave around 12 just because there were no other customers present except our group of 8 people which doesn’t make sense and they did not apologize. RUDE!

  • 1/5 Abdullah S. 2 years ago on Google
We went to this place for the first time for some hookah and tea. Their website mentions that the place closes at 1AM however shortly after we got our hookahs at around 11pm we were told by the staff that we need to leave the place since at that particular time there were no other customers present in the house except our group of 8 people. First of all, that's a HORRIBLE way to treat paying customers and secondly we felt discriminated against by the staff perhaps because we're Afghan. It's absolutely sad to see people not being able to look past their biases and pre-conceived notions towards other people no matter where they go. There's no place for racist people in this country! I DO NOT recommend this place!! Racist businesses should not be supported, Period!

Used to be good. I came here over 10 times. Pros: decoration, authentic cultural furniture, food (Koobideh was fresh), serves alcohol, can usually get a seat without waiting, Persian music to more “modern” top music at times that others can enjoy. Mature crowd. Cons: last 3 times the shisha was poorly made, I asked to server to check it but the flavour was weak. This is the last time I came as it happened 3 times and I asked the server if they were able to check. Server ignored it and added a coil, but I was smoking air at 3 different visits! Whatever brand they use, I would advise they change it. I wish the server came to the table with the bill and pay the front, or show the total amount on the iPad prior to paying at the front. I was always cashed out with the total and added tax. It’s unprofessional not to show the invoice or bill as a payee. I always get handed the machine. I smoke herbal and tobacco shisha at home, this was very poorly made. I understand only herbal can be served, please make it worth it. I stuck with this business during the tipping try out that was added and removed which I support regardless and opening and closure with Covid and I get it’s tough. I feel bad for any shisha business where clients hold 1 shisha and water, it’s poor taste.

Great place to go with your friends have a nice cup of charcoal tea and play some back gammon, and if you like try the hookah too. I haven’t tried the food so I can’t say anything about that. It’s a little pricey if you go alone. Over all it’s a nice place for a night out with friends.

Awful service 🤮. Very unprofessional and rude. My friends and I drove all the way from Downtown to have Hokkah there for the first time, although we have called in advance and checked the website that they are open until 1:00 am, immediately after getting our orders around 11:20 pm we were continuously asked to leave... Id understand if we had been there for a long time already, but we had not even been there for more than 35-40 minutes at this point. We still had tea and Hokka to finish. As someone who has worked as a server, I understand the boundaries of overstaying at a table- but when a guest hasn’t even been there for a full hour and is still finishing items they paid money for. The restaurant was empty it was only our table I didn't understand why they would be so rude and we were treated differently? I would say it's Canada, not Iran🙄🙄 there's no place for racist... The place is not worth going to at all. I won't go back there again.

Following were excellent: ambiance with traditional benches & hooka, kashk bademjan, bandari sausage sandwich Following things were not good: service, bill had already included a tip of 15% and I added another 20%. I have seen some places that add gratuity for large groups (8 or more) but always mentioned it to customer but there was only 4 of us and we were not told gratuity was included. I would go back for the ambiance but pay attention to the bill.
