I used to love this place and I was a regular but recently it's become a rip off! The picture on the right is a cold cut sandwich from Chef Burger and the one on the left is from Topol Sandwich for the same price! When I complained about it, I was told by one of the ladies that this is their original recipe by the owner which has always been the same!

Update: tried their 260g burger on whole-wheat bread and it was really delicious. Just that the bread was too thick. Otherwise great portion and tasty. Hands down the best calf/beef togue sandwiches ever. I haven't tried anything else here, but have tried the aforementioned sandwich several times and it has never disappointed. Hello, ‎‏Upon my recommendation, I went to Chef Burger with two of my friends. I searched on Google, and it was supposed to be open until 11:00 PM (and if there was any change in working hours, they are obligated to update it on Google). We wanted to place an order at 10:20 PM, and they told us they wouldn't take our order after 10:30 PM, which was ten minutes away. We politely requested them to take our order, as it appeared to be their responsibility. Eventually, they accepted our order but then proceeded to speak ill and insult us in an extremely unpleasant manner to one of their colleagues. They didn’t treat us with respect so I don’t recommend supporting such business.

A nice and cozy Persian fast food with very friendly staff. They offer Persian-style sandwiches in big portions and great quality. They are mostly famous for their burgers. We ordered a "super burger" and a "Brain-Tongue mix sandwich". Burger was really delicious and I would have more if it wasn't so full, lol. The Mixed sandwich was ok, but I believe it could have used more spices. Due to COVID-19, they don't offer dine-in at the moment and they don't have a patio.

It has absolutely amazing and friendly staff. ☺️ The place is pretty clean and everyone follow health guidelines. The price and the quality are really good, just the burger bun was a bit too heavy and dry so it didn’t let the burger show its taste. The fries was good too. Where do I start , just walking into the resto the great smell of Persian comfort food just loads your thoughts with so many options to chose from , staff are all very kind an great with the advice , food and sides are always fresh and just overall at exceptional place , very quick service and great family business. Will always pass by here when I'm in the area.

This was outside of my usual. And I am very happy I tried it. I went with the cow tongue sandwich and it was amazing. The staff here is great here too. The beautiful lady who helped me decide what to try was so friendly and helpful. Give this place a try!

I’ve ordered hotdog, frise and doogh. The total was $17 which I can say its a decent price. The portion of the food was more than enough even it was good for two people. Order preparation was fast and good customers service. Try their hotdog sandwich 🌭🌭

I have been a customer for several years, have always given them a chance eventhough the food is sometimes terrible and sometimes great- never the same. Management doesnt care if their client is dissatisfied because according to them “they have enough customers they dont need me”.. there are other establishments that care for your business please go elsewhere. TERRIBLE!!!!!

I recently visited Chef Burger and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The main issue I encountered was the owner's behavior towards the female employees, which was unacceptable and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. During my visit, I observed the owner repeatedly screaming at the female employees in a manner that can only be described as harassment, rather than constructive coaching. This behavior occurred during lunchtime, while other customers were present, and it was evident that they too noticed and were taken aback by the owner's actions. As a woman, I felt unsafe and insecure witnessing such mistreatment in the workplace. It is disheartening to see an owner treating their employees in this manner, especially in a small restaurant where everyone can hear and observe the situation. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Chef Burger as a place where female employees are treated with respect and dignity. This kind of behavior creates a toxic work environment and raises concerns about the overall culture of the restaurant. I certainly would not consider working at this establishment myself. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to create a more positive and inclusive environment for their employees. It is important for businesses to foster an atmosphere of respect and professionalism, and sadly, Chef Burger fell short in this regard. Burger patty was delicious and fresh, I recommend to wrap all sandwiches with parchment paper otherwise your burger will explode while eating and also wear hair net, burger’s experience was like the ones your mom is cooking for you.

very unimpressed. we had an order of 8 sandwiches. almost every single burger had the wrong toppings. we called and complained and the owner apologized and offered to replace 2 of our sandwiches. he said to come by any time and got my details. our family went on vacation and came back 3 weeks later. when I called to claim them, the owner laughed on mocked me on the phone saying how could he remember what happened 3 weeks ago. I used to go here very frequently and justified the high prices as I was supporting a local business. Sadly they won't have my business anymore. it's not my responsibility to track your promises for you.

Poor quality, dishonest, expensive. I am very sorry for these types of restaurants that only think about making money and not customer satisfaction. Never recommended

the most stupid staff and management!!!i asked them 3 times to put extra sauce for my sandwich and they still forgot .. and this was not the first time!! they are so CHEAP to add you any extra toppings !! change your attitude towards your customers!!! remember Right is always with customers…

Come here at least once a month for their veal tongue sandwich! It tastes amazing and the portions are enough to make you very full. Also the lamb brain and veal tongue mix sandwich is a must try if you head out to Chef Burger. The mix of the fatty lamb brain with the delicious texture of veal tongue is an excellent taste for your taste buds! I always order for take-out and the sandwiches are ready in less than 15 minutes. If you’d like to dine-in the atmosphere is not the best, but they have a few tables for you to sit and dine.

The best Persian style sandwiches in Toronto. Tongue and mushroom is heavenly! Great bread and fresh ingredients. Staff are always friendly and smiling. I hope it grows and I no longer see comments about treating employees unfairly, so we can come here more often and support this business open heartedly.

Let's get obvious out of the way. The service is slow. Yes, without a doubt. I waited for 20-25 min for my sandwich on a Sunday evening when the place was packed. They had 2 women + 1 boy working there, but still they could not manage to serve people in a more efficient manner. But you also need to take into account that they make everything from scratch and it takes time to properly grill raw chicken, lamb, and burgers. Multiply the number of minutes it takes to cook raw meat by the number of people in line and a wait time of up to 30 min is not unreasonable. Now, on the food itself. The food is pretty good. Lots of carbs, not of a fan of that, but the food looks tasty, especially the lamb tongue + lamb brain sandwich. Highly recommend it! The Super burger is HUGE. I shared it with my wife. It was that big. Fries were good, but I've had better fries elsewhere. Overall, despite the slow service, I liked the food. Oh, and try their samosa. It's spicy but tasty.

The calf tongue sandwich definitely worth it, it is a quite big one for one to eat and you can choose to mix it with other options like The lamb brain, The mushrooms inside are also really good! I personally prefer softer bread but there is not much options to customize the sandwiches.

Food is really good but a bit pricy however the staff are too busy and really short handed so don’t get surprised if they don’t smile at you.

The toppings did little to enhance the overall flavor. Moreover, the prices were exorbitant, not justified by the quality of the food. The service was lackluster, and the atmosphere lacked character. Overall, I cannot recommend Chef Burger as a worthwhile option for burger enthusiasts looking for delicious food at a reasonable price.

My personal favorite amongst the Persian fast food scene. The burgers are great and they do have some special sandwiches like the tongue sandwich. I do have to give credit to the owner for constantly watching his staff and making sure the quality is as good as it can be.

If you want to try something unique, test the tongue and brain sandwich. It's absolutely delicious 😋

Don’t waste your money on fries, it’s straight from a grocery store freezer! Burger was okay 👍🏻 could use better buns (I suggest brioche buns) cheese is just straight American garbage and nothing good! Staff were amazing (but i saw one lady in the back eat something with her gloves on and continued cleaning parsley) other than that song were all sad depressing.
