Want authentic Thai in your home? Order from here. Tried the pork curry chicken pad see ew and fish cakes. Everything was delicious and 1 of the best curry dishes I've ever had. It's not a spicy curry but you won't miss the heat because the sauce is just so packed of flavour, you're going to want to finish every last drop. The noodles in the pad see ew was cooked to perfection and the fish cake had that nice bouncy texture. For $45+tax you get 2 very generous main entrees and 5 fish cakes as an appetizer. So worth it!! Pick up only. And check her out on IG as her menu changes. High recommend and so glad she's in Richmond Hill! From Thailand herself and a trained chef. There's a blog TO story on her too.

Hidden gem. Chef makes the food in her apartment. We loved every dish. Great flavours and good level of spicy. Call ahead to order and arrange a pickup. They will email you an invoice to pay by etransfer. When you arrive downstairs, call them and they will bring the food to your car.

This is the real deal - real Thai food made by a Thai chef. The set menu was fresh, authentic and delicious! Pick-up was super easy and the chef and assistant are very friendly and professional. Make sure to order early because they run out as it’s made fresh and in small batches.

They are currently a part of the food festival, Smorgasburg Toronto at 7 Queens Quay West every Saturday at 11am-6pm! One of the most popular vendors there. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. Chef Sand and her team are amazing. Loved hearing her passion about the food. My party of 4 tried the papaya salad, pork skewers and khao soi. The salad is more in the tart side which counters spicy dishes well, and very refreshing on a hot summer's day. The pork skewers are beautifully grilled to perfection. They are extremely juicy and then topped with an incredibly Thai sauce based on a family recipe. (My heat-loving friends wanted to buy that sauce by the bottle!) And finally, the khao soi: it is the most fragrant and aromatic khao soi we have ever tasted! It was our favourite dish of the day.

A real hidden gem for authentic Thai food! Authentic Thai chef who turned her Thai cooking class skills into a opportunity to offer home cooked meals to go. We started with a delicious lemongrass Tom Yum Goong soup (Shrimp) and Thai Crab cakes. For main dishes we had our favourite Thai dish, Chicken Panang. Very flavourful and spot on! I love spicy and this was right on. My family found it a bit too spicy. We also tried the BBQ Pork stir fry which was good. The menu rotates with limited options so keep an eye out for your favourite dishes when they are offered. Looking forward to whenever they re open.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thai dinner tonight. The skewers were so flavourful and we really enjoyed the red curry pork and the pad see ew as well. Everything was fresh and authentic. Ordering and pickup was easy. I highly recommend ordering food from here!

We ordered the Thai chicken red curry and the shrimp pad Thai. The food was delicious and the portion size was good. I expected a restaurant but it's a condo pick up. Price was a bit higher than I thought but it was worth it.

We were so looking forward to try this place but were utterly disappointed. Everything was so salty to the point that we gave up midway through the meal. At first we thought the cook might have misplaced salt in her sugar container but even the meat were salty. Too bad as we are right next door and it could be our go to Thai food place.

Took a leap of faith and tried Baan to support local. Tried the shrimp soup, fish cakes and chicken Penang. You'll love at the quality of food, portion sizes and taste. One of the best Thai places around...what you see in the pics is what you get. None of that cookie cutter Thai dishes most places produce. Definitely coming back.

Baan Thai is a hidden gem in the GTA. I am ecstatic that I no longer have to travel to downtown Toronto to get legitimate Thai food. I tried the follow dishes: Pad See Ew, Pad Ka Praow, Pad Prik Garng Moo, and Nam Tok Moo. They were all amazing; nam tok moo was my favourite. I hope it returns to the menu again. Be aware that Baan operates out of a condo and you have to order ahead of time.

Best thai food in town! Strongly recommend the Khao Soi, the chicken is so tender, the noodle is al dente, the garnish is so refreshing, and the soup so creamy and tasty I drink the whole thing every time!

The best Thai food we’ve had in Richmond Hill and one of the best in all of the GTA. Chef Sand does an amazing job. She custom made vegetarian dishes for our family and they were delicious. We had pad Thai, red curry, stir fried veggies, Tom Yam soup, and Pad Grao Prao with mushrooms. We can’t recommend them enough!

👍👍 Love the vibe of the bar! The Mozzarella, fresh pasta, and pizza were all amazing! They offer 50% off bottled wine on Wednesday, and 15% on your first bill if you are a new customer (requires registering on the app). The only downside is that there was not enough room on the sofa.
