Always busy here so I recommend to stop by earlier time like opening time. Order system is lit, very convenient, and food was really good, especially I loved their potatoes. I ordered flat white coffee which was not bad. Little pricey compared to other “traditional Canadian brunch cafes” but worth trying out :)

A cozy little place with great drinks and great food! I had the chicken and waffle dish and they definitely don’t skimp out on the portions so not only was it delicious, but it was great value considering the price. The place was really busy and that only added to the atmosphere in my opinion. There was a wait but it was well-managed with an automated check-in system that notifies you via text which was a nice touch that made the experience painless.

Wow, I never knew of this little brunch spot. Even tho I visit the sushi place next door so often. I saw reviews on google and decided to take my bf for bday lunch. Food- chicken waffles and Salmon egg Benny was both super good!! I love both dishes!! The chicken and waffles was so crunchy and flavourful, every bite I was like this is good! As for my bfs, salmon Benny , that was also good! I have to HIGHLY recommended getting the blackberry lavender mocha… it’s a MUST. ITS SO GOOD. I’m literally craving for another drink.

My visit was on Saturday lunch probably busiest time, but I was able to use the Yelp app to put my table on the wait list. It was very nice that I just had to put my name on before I headed out. It took me about 10 more minutes to be seated. The food was overall very good. I liked my duck egg Benedict. Chicken and waffle was very yummy too but I found chicken little salty 🧂 I would come back to try some others.

The food and service were impeccable. Every single dish, even the side salad, was delicious and high quality. The ramen here is among the best that I have ever had. The hot hojicha latte looked and tasted amazing, I definitely recommend the warm version over the ice as I would have liked to add sugar (it isn't sweet). The decor and the vibe were so cute and cozy.

Fabulous and tasty brunch with nice coffee! Super enjoy my chill and cozy brunch time here! Reasonable price for food! Very large size food compare with other brunch restaurants. The chicken and waffle is the best for me! Recommend!

Was looking for a new spot for yummy food and latte and a friend recommended this gem. I went there on a Friday morning thinking there would be less people... heck was I wrong. The place was full not long after my wife and I were seated. I really liked their atmosphere - comfortable and warm. The staff there were pleasant and attentive. I'm not sure if they have physical copies of their menu but we were asked to scan a QR and order online - make sure your phone's camera is scan-ready. The menu is similar to most cafés I've been to, but I find myself enjoying their chasu pork benedict and Hazelnut latte a bit more. I was impressed with their home fries, they were perfectly seasoned so I didn't find the need for ketchup. I shared a bit of my wife's Smoked salmon pasta with pesto sauce and that got me hooked. Can't wait to try their chicken and waffles next!

Cute Cafe with great food. Lots of vegetables even inside the omelet. Packaging was great; eggs on the Egg Benedict were wrapped to prevent bursting👍🏻 fried chicken was tasty. They also have cute teddy bears.

Environment is very nice and lighting is so good that you will get nice photos any angle in the restaurant. Friendly staff and tasty food. Ordered a few their signature dishes, all on point. Will return for sure.

I had 'Egg Benedict with Smoked Duck Breast' and 'Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast'. I recommend Egg Benedict's. Especially duck breast was very well harmonized with egg benedict. And I liked potatoes too, very crispy. However the avocado toast was just so so. The portion is very small (just one very thin bread), so it is better to order with extra sides.

Popular brunch/coffee shop in a small plaza. Be sure to line-up virtually via Yelp before hand, otherwise you’ll be waiting for a while! Vibes are cute, rustic decor with soft french music that fades into the background. The volume level is appropriate so you can have conversations without strain. Foodwise, this place is quite good. The Eggs Benedict is delicious. Eggs are done right and there is a layer of avocado underneath the salmon. Refreshing to eat. The home fries here are a must. Incredible. Addictive even. They have a thin crispy surface and are seasoned well with spices. The inside is semi-soft and salted perfectly. I would honestly come back just for the fries. They are that good. Ramen is okay considering they are not a dedicated ramen shop. However I would avoid the ramen since their brunch options are significantly better. The broth is milky and salty, but did not have any pork flavour to it. Eggs were too salty. Noodles are average, pretty sure i’ve had this same noodle elsewhere. Duck breast was okay, reminiscent of peameal bacon, but without the salt. Personally I suggest this restaurant to take ramen off their menu. Would be much better off focusing on the core brunch offerings than trying to accommodate soup noodles into the menu. Overall good brunch place. I’ll be back!

This place is amazing. We ordered the smoked ducks Benedict, the chicken and waffles and the smoked salmon Benedict. Chicken and waffles were great, chicken was crispy and had a tiny bit of a kick, waffles paired very nicely with them. Eggs Benedict were both very tasty and the crispy potatoes and salad were a nice complement. Staff was awesome, food lasted well for the drive home. Will definitely come again.

This is a great place for coffee, brunch or a date. I came here with my husband and enjoyed the food and drinks. This is a popular place so don't be surprised when they inforce a 1.5 hour limit. I will definitely come back, but must say that it is a little over-hyped.

Nice atmosphere and the food was good. Ordered flat white and mushroom egg Benedict both were actually delicious! Thank you! However -1 star for food because not too many vegetarian options. -1 star for service because of my last session, I had to wait for my food longer than I expected. The owner/staff already mentioned to me before ordering that it will be longer than expected from the kitchen. I had been waiting for 40 minutes for my dishes - finished my drink already lol

Interesting combination of food offered. We had Waffle, Egg Benedict, Ramen, Pasta. All tasted good. Also has milkshake and ice coffee that were pretty good. Service is polite and quite attentive (filled our water, take away plates without having to ask).

Nice bistro cafe. Portion is small but good quality. A bit pricy, around $20 per dish in average. Good vibes and environment, which also part of the cost. Self-order, don’t really get service. I prefer waiter or waitress, gives a better reason to give full tips.

We called in if they are taking reservation but was told to use the Yelp app to add us on the waiting list. We waited for a hour..someone called us back and apologize for the long wait. We have our order ready once we're seated and the food arrive fast. Unfortunately the fried chicken on waffle was sold out but we ordered fried chicken ramen and waffle with sauce instead. We had also Angus burger and Canadian bacon egg Benny which were delicious. The host came to our table and apologize for the wait again and recommended to come during a weekday instead. We do understand weekend is busier. The great service and food made up for the long wait.

This cafe was a good choice for lunch or afternoon tea for 2 persons. The vibe was chill and comfy. The food that we ordered was nicely presented and tasted quite yummy. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. If you want to have more time to enjoy the food and coffee, please note that their last order is around 3:15-3:30pm and they close at 4:00pm.

I have waffles with fried chicken for lunch. The waffles are very nice in the way that they are very soft, full of the scent of eggs and not to sweet. The fried chicken is crispy but a bit oily inside. A star is withheld for this reason in the hope of improvements in next visit. The attendants are very friendly and attentive. One of them even goes to an adjacent restaurant and borrows a small chair. She hopes that we (10ppl) will sit and eat more comfortably. After all, here is a cafe I would recommend.

Love this place! Both hot and iced options for all coffee, got an iced mocha and it tastes great! Inside is so cute, aesthetic design gives off a great cozy atmosphere, and employee was super easy to talk to and very kind :) love the long trailing plants too! Can’t wait to come back soon! ☕️

The chashu eggs benny was made perfectly. Good balance of flavours. The fried chicken was crunchy and well seasoned paired with fresh waffles. I really liked the blackberry lavender mocha which brought layers of flavour to a normal latte. Definitely returning!

It's a small little brunch place, which itself has nice atmosphere and mood. The staff were friendly and the service was superb. Now onto the food and drinks - I highly recommend the waffles and chicken, it's God tier amazing. As for their drinks they offer various drinks either hot or cold but just be sure to ask if it's available. I'd recommend to those who are into brunch or a very late late.

Our first brunch since moving to Richmond Hill. Our family ordered the eggs benedict with duck breast, eggs benedict with smoked salmon, bacon and eggs and some waffles. Everything was delicious and high quality. The staff and service was amazing. Can't wait to come back and try some other options on the menu.

Delicious brunch with a great variety. I was tempted to try pasta and ramen but still went for the traditional brunch option (benedict and pancake). The rosy latte was great. Not too sweet like most cafe does. I could actually taste the espresso.

Came here quite a while back and only getting to write a review now. Really love the cafe vibes the place puts out! Love the decor with the lit up chillax sign on the wall and really brings the place altogether. The food was great! Perfectly cooked smoked duck breast combined with the runny yolk of the eggs Benedict was just such an awesome texture! The duck was also moist and tender and just complemented to Benny dish so well. The blackberry lavender white mocha had the subtle hint of lavender peeking through in its taste and did not overpower the espresso itself. Very nicely done! I do wish that the blackberry taste did come through more, but loved the overall taste of the mocha! Very different and very nice! Service was awesome and would totally return! Visited their website and wanted to also wish them well with the new addition to the chillax family and cannot wait until your return in November of this year! Great job overall and definitely recommend when they do open up again! Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics and more amazing content!

Their infamous chicken and waffles are still amazing even when it’s take out!! Their curry pasta is delicious too! I love their London Fog, never had it better anywhere else! The staff there is also very helpful and nice!

It’s hard to believe that this place is in the area. We felt like we were in some super trendy place. This place feels like a best kept secret. Really umami. Amazing flavors, selection and service. We are the eggs bennys and burger. Perfection. The hollandaise was buttery and smooth, with the right thickness. The burger was cooked to perfection. Chicken and waffles were crunchy and well seasoned. The waffle has a chewy and crispy texture that matched up really well with the chicken. The home fries seasoning was delicious.

Food was top notch - the eggs benedict had avocado layered within which made it different (better) than many other brunch places! The pasta was also delicious and fairly portioned. Drinks were underaverage - flat white tasted a bit stale and london fog was a bit “grainy” with tea bits. I would perhaps only order food next time. We ordered: a smoked salmon pesto pasta, smoked salmon eggs benedict, flat white, london fog. Prepare to wait a bit - I’d suggest Yelp waitlisting before heading there! Despite waitlisting it still took another 10 minutes before we were seated after we checked in with the host.

Very cute little brunch spot in Richmond hill:) they have good quality coffee and the food is tasty! Lots of cute elements - pikachu to teddy bear to a drawing of “chicken on waffle”. It’s a good experience for a weekend brunch! They do get busy, so recommend joining the Waitlist before you go to avoid long wait times.

It was my first time visit to this restaurant. The decor was nice, but it was hard to talk with friends because the sound vibration was a little too loud. We kind of have to talk louder than usual to hear each other. It would be nice if they have some sound absorbing board, and I know it is a bit nitpicking. To order, you will scan the QR code to visit their ordering site, but the break down of the menu was a bit odd. I have to go back and forth on the navigation. If I were to design the menu, I would pick everything into one page and subdivide them into three subcategories rather than having to click back and forth., I ordered the duck breast benedict. The sauce and soft poached eggs were good, and it would be nice if the duck breast is a little more moist rather than dry. The potato fried were crispy on the outside and soft ont the inside. The servers were quite attentive. It was overall a nice experienc.

Surprisingly this new opened brunch place at the neighbourhood provides such tasty food!! I’ve tried the Spicy salmon bowl first, very fresh and healthy combination. Highly recommend their Chicken Waffle!! So crispy and yummy!! Overall, it’s a nice place. Good quality of service and food materials. Will definitely come back again!

I’m so happy there is finally a decent breakfast place in Richmond Hill. THANK YOU FOR OPENING AT 9AM ON SUNDAYS. I am so tired of eating at Cora’s or Sunset Grill for breakfast. Chillax Coffee offers a variety of breakfast items and unique drinks! I was quite surprised that they also offered ramen for breakfast because that’s usually on a lunch menu. When my family and I walked in at 9am, we were the first table. After 10 minutes, the restaurant was already packed with another 4 families. First impressions: The restaurant is decked out with a rustic chic look. The brick walls and the marquee lights stand out a lot and definitely made the whole place instagrammable. I especially love the bar area where they make the drinks because they decorated with a lot of real plants, also surprised that they serve alcohol! Mimosas for breakfast anyone? Service: our waiter was awesome and super friendly, service was also quick. We received our drinks 6-7 minutes after we ordered and food all came together 20 minutes afterwards. They had an online app to place orders but it wasn’t working today so our waiter ended up writing down our order anyway. Food: I highly recommend the blackberry lavender white mocha, I don’t like my drinks too sweet and this was a perfect combo of espresso and flavour shots. My family ordered the duck ramen, chicken and waffles and the omelette. Everything tasted great and the portions were just right. I loved how my ramen came with a salad because it didn’t have a lot of veggies in it to begin with. Only feedback is it’ll be great if the restaurant installed some blinds at the front. The restaurant got a little bit too hot when the sun was hitting certain corners. I noticed a few people had to wear sunglasses because the sun was hitting their eyes. Our overall experience was great, I highly recommend it. I hope to bring my parents here next time!

Visited on a Sunday and reserved ahead of time via Yelp (highly recommended as they ask you to do the same if you walk in, I think?) Food arrived quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed the Benny! Poached egg was done extremely well and potatoes were season just right 👌The fried chicken and waffle was good too (full waffle, fried dark meat) that is served with maple syrup and a spicy mayo. It was delish but not spectacular. Service was great and servers were friendly!

Cute joint for your normal breakfast menu items. Presentation and decor get an A. I ordered their classic breakfast with over easy eggs. To my surprise, one of them was overdone, which was happily replaced with 2 more eggs! So customer service gets and A+! Good variety of coffees. $14 for a couple of eggs, 2 turkey slices, potatoes and small side salad with a slice of sourdough bread. A tad pricey but you pay for the ambience and good service!

  • 5/5 Caton L. 1 year ago on Google
High quality, large portions. Got the salmon Benedict and duck Benedict (pictured). Appreciated how they adjusted the toppings differently per Benedict to better suit the meats. Service was great. They asked for feedback on how to improve their recipe. Other pros: little to no wait time, probably due to location Pro tip: come early in order to get the chicken and waffles before they run out. Apparently it sells out right after noon Would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Cute and cozy brunch place! We went a Saturday and there was some waiting time - when you enter, there is an device for you to get on the wait list. Once a table is ready for you, you will receive a text message. Lots of variety to choose from: pasta, ramen, burgers… for all type of taste. We ordered Chicken and waffle and the waffle was fluffy and tasty paired with the sirop. The fried chicken was crispy (although it had a lot more breading than i would have liked). Pork Ramen was overall tasty, good cha shu portions, stock was light, but the black roasted garlic oil in the ramen was a bit on the bitter side. Service was great beginning to end: staff were very friendly and attentive.
