I must say, I'm in love with the facility!!! I love the creative concept and setup. The service too is good and the facility is clean. The meals took some time to deliver, but it was worth the wait. I had salad, shrimps, and fresh juice. There was piano playing in the background, and it was just soothing. The lightning was balanced and sufficient. I just wished they also layered lights on the roof glass covering. My overall experience was good this time.

Well hidden inside Ceddi Plaza. You may have to ask for direction to get there. If you hate asking for directions like me, just get to the first floor and walk to the end of the right wing, you will see NKOYO entrance tucked in there. For a joint with a secluded entrance, the size will pleasantly surprise you. They have a large indoor setting, a covered courtyard and a gallery. Sittings are arranged according to number of guest and waiters will lead your group to an appropriate sitting. You'll not loose your appetite if you use their toilet. The seafood okra with pounded yam was a bomb! Fresh with boneless fish. Washed it down with fresh mixed juice. Yummy 😋. The price? Posted the pic. My disagreement is the swallow size....not for men🤫

This was an African experience. I really enjoyed the meal and ambiance and the paintings!!!!!!! I definitely had fun and the food was great! And because of the location in Verdi plaza, parking wasn’t an issue and it’s a nice environment

Lovely food, service and ambience. Really enjoyed my experience here. Unfortunately the 2 items I wanted on the menu weren’t available (mixed grill and the lamb) but the peppered fish was really good! Will try their soups with swallow next time.

Today is indeed a great day! I had my first meal at Nkoyo and I was impressed. It’s been a while I visited this place due to Codvid restrictions on restaurants operating on pick ups only this was as at last year. The ambiance as usual highly welcoming and conducive with a great splash of nature ( all the plants are real) the reception was very good too. I had some issues trying to get these pictures though, this was because the lady who attended to me told me not to take pictures because some people have tried to copy their style. I told her I was doing it for google and I promise I’m not about to steal their design. After that I ordered my pounded yam and efo riro which came along side my freshly squeezed orange Juice. The soup was rich wish snail, goat meat, beef and stock fish. My Taste buds were thrilled because they didn’t add a lot of pepper because I requested for that. The sweet potato chips came in hand my before my food, the yam was fresh and well pounded. It was delicious and had to take it away because it was really filling and I had to take away home. I forgot to add, they have an art gallery you can buy paintings and sculptures a bit pricy though but they look good. The juice was N2500 while the Efo Riro was N4500 that’s excluding vat.

Located inside Ceddi Plaza is this beautiful restaurant. The ambience here is very good, and the customer service is equally good. I ordered for pounded yam, and seafood okra. Surprisingly, I heard them pounding the yam 😍 It was served thick, warm and fresh; I enjoyed my meal, and struggled to finish it because it was much 🤣 What I didn't like was that I had to go to restroom to wash my hands before eating. If one or two wash hand basins can be installed in the dining room; it will be better.

So the service at Nkoyo is amazing. With friendly waiters, and you get the African feel. The food is affordable and prepared really well. Get the boneless chicken or the lamb. This was a 5 star experience. And for sure would come back

Nkoyo is one of my best eat out spots in Abuja. Super delicious meals. One of the downsides is that sometimes, the food takes long to arrive. One of the positives is that you get to listen to a pianist play the piano in the evenings. Their grills and meals are superb. The restaurant at Ceddi plaza is quite spacious. There's an indoor and semi outdoor (semi open roof) section. So I'll be posting random photos of different visits to Nkoyo restaurant.

This is always my go to place for food in Abuja!!! Be assured that if it is Nigerian delicacies you want, this is the place to get it. I had the traditional soup full of condiments like periwinkle and stockfish. The way they serve their meals is always satisfying so much so that we took home a third of the meal. As always, the service is swift and detailed. Thanks guys, you guys rock!

Very nature-like Ambience and it is fantastic. A lot of plants and the bamboo furniture gives a great vibe. The skylight gives a great natural light into the space, almost feels like you're outdoors even though you're indoors. Definitely a great place to hangout with friends or groups of people. The service is also quite decent. My second visit here and looks well maintained. I recommend and will definitely visit again

Nkoyo is the best. Beyond excellent meals and services, the staff and management understand good customer care. They spotted my wife and I on our 25th anniversary date and sang for us in celebration plus the manager wrote off our bills.

Probably the best restaurant I've been to in a while 😸. The staff are fast quick and available and clearly have good knowledge of the menu, the environment is clean cool cozy saw a piano probably they have in dining music which would be sick!!!, Some customers came for a small celebration reception just incase you were wondering if you could host a mini reception. The food is so good!, Took the chicken wings for starters really good, my friend got a sea food meal can't remember but it costs 6k and fam she couldn't finish it 😂, I got chilly grilled chicken (boneless) and Jollof and I too couldn't finish it 😂. It's definitely a 10/10! I definitely recommend for hangouts, dates, mini receptions, self love dinners etc. Plus they sell some natural stuff like soaps and creams and some art work.

Delicious food from Goa (India), courteous staff and clean environment. I loved the local products stall and the artwork at the entrance, I bought some soaps. We could also find TripAdvisor awards. Service is a bit slow though and there was nothing to nibble before the appetisers came, so we were a bit hungry while we waited for the appetisers. The pisco sour was good, but the white wine not so much.

I'll have to say this is one of the most consistent restaurants in town. The service is very good, if they get your food wrong they'll actually change it without a fuss and that goes a long way with the kind of service that is the norm. The food does come a bit late though. But if you order an appetizer it'd help make the time seem short. Because the appetizers come in like 10ish minutes. The food quality is A1, the presentation is a beautiful tableau.  And decor is natural. I love this place. The menu is also a combination of local and international dishes.

Good setup. Nice response time and easy to understand menu. Waiting time is less than one as a waiter will seat you as you entered , food pricing is not too bad going by the location of the restaurant, you also have the chance to shop within cedi mall. I will recommend the restaurant for people. Fresh fruit drink , and tasty food.

Located in the popular Ceddi Plaza, Nkoyo boasts of a serene place for good Naija meals with great standard. The waiters are friendly and service wasn’t bad. Everything was done and served as ordered. If you want better South South delicacy, you need to visit Nkoyo and enjoy yourself. It’s also family friendly spot so feel free to come with the squad.

First I love that one can call to make table reservation. However I think that their phonecall communication can be better. It's a long story. The ambience is nice, food is very very tasty. It seems to start to get filled up after 5pm. Also I love the rose that I got on Valentine's day (today) courtesy of Nkoyo. I tried out the Fisherman soup while my date tried the ekpang nkukwo and both were really yummy. Price is fairly okay. With about 15,000 naira, you can enjoy a date with someone else. I'd recommend!

I have been going there for a while now and over the year they have been consistent in terms of price affordability and food portions. However their service could be slow and could do better. Takes a while for the food to come out, nevertheless it's worth the wait!

I was invited for a friend's 30th birthday here and I had a great time. We were welcomed with sweet potato chips that I couldn't get enough of. The food was well prepared and the staff were very active and did a good job. The ambience was enjoyable, with a man playing the piano. I had some grilled fish that was amazeballs and I totally enjoyed the nkoyo punch (non alcoholic). It's safe to say I can't wait to come back.

Very deliciously prepared meals. A top class restaurant in the heart of Abuja. Bearing an Efik name but Indian-owned, you will initially think you are heading to an authentic Efik chop place. However, you will not be disappointed by the taste and ambience of the well decorated restaurant.

Nkoyo is one the OG restaurants in Abuja which offers tasty food at affordable prices and in a beautiful space. This place is also filled with different pieces of art and souvenirs available for sale so if you're someone who is new to Abuja, Nkoyo is a nice place to dine and even get some Aftican memorabilia. Another that is great about this place is when you dine, you are serenaded by a pianist at a grand piano within the restaurant. Nkoyo is great for groups and dates.

Jevinik restaurant wuse as common to all their restaurants has great meals and wonderful environment. The amazing thing about this restaurant is the fact that it is typical African. The volume of food you are given is intimidating. You will almost think you are being fed for a fattening competition. The ambience is top notch. It is welcoming especially during the scorching sunshine. A step into the restaurant will give you a welcoming coolness. The tasty and sumptuous meals another high rate. Above all the prompt food delivery is superb.

The ambience is cool and the waiters were superb while taking orders. The only issue i had was it a little bit crowdy and minimal social distance was out in place during my times there. There food is great the meat is always soft.

The quality of service has obviously declined. The signature seafood okro soup is gone. What they serve now is the basic okro. The usual delays in attending to clients is still much of an issue.

Visited the Ceddi Plaza branch and observed over time the quality customer service has dropped significantly from where it used to be. Sad because this used to be my family's favourite place to eat. Luckily, it's no longer the dark ages of eating out in Abuja. There are several good Indian, Continental and Nigerian restaurants now. Will be taking my mouth (and money) elsewhere.

I have been seeing the name Nkoyo from outside whenever I am passing Ceddi Plaza but never knew what it is all about. I paid a visit with a friend today and realized that Abuja guys are missing one of the best and unique restaurant in the city. This is a combination of Nigerian and Indian dishes restaurant with variety of foods chosen from their table menu. Their sitting arrangement are well arranged to meet with the Covid protocol of social distance and barriers were made available between the sittings. I just like the place.

Great ambience and very courteous waiters. I love the African theme. The drinks were very nice. I had the pineapple juice which tasted so fresh. The food was also really great and reasonably priced. I only had a problem with the goat meat on my order which wasn't well seasoned and so tasted bland. Other than that, every other thing was on point.

The meal was really good. I had the seafood jollof rice and they were generous with the sea foods. That's a plus any time. I didn't have to wait too long either. I was so hungry that i didn't take a picture when i arrived. I dove right in. Lol. Overall I was impressed. I had sour lemonade with mint for my drink. So refreshing...

I loved the ambience, the decor, the design, the plants, the paintings and the synergy it all created. Everything put together was welcoming. It has an African style to it that made it exquisite. There was no delay in getting the food. The food tasted nice especially the sea food. I felt the rice needed some more spice though. Apart from that, the customer service and staff are really polite and respectful. I had an awesome time here! The music from the piano too was top-notch.

Ever since a good friend introduced me to their edikaikong soup, they're the only restaurant in Abuja where I have it. Comes with an assortment of correct protein inside - 1 large snail with emphasis on the large, 1 large goat meat chunk and beef chunk with stock fish, periwinkle and the works. Yummyyyy!!! I had it with wheat and it was simply amazing. You can also tell them to reduce the red oil content for a healthy alternative. Ambiance is great. All round wonderful experience with friendly staff.

My dining experience of Nkoyo is so far nice. Today, I ordered chicken bryani and mixed juice and is so nice.

  • 1/5 Elizabeth A. 7 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
This was my second time here, but I had a really terrible experience last night. I ordered edikang ikong and specifically told the waiter I don’t eat snails and he mentioned he was going to replace it with goat meat. I got home, started eating and to my surprise saw snail in my food. I was so disappointed because I have an allergic reaction when I eat snails. The very least I expected is that the waiter communicated my preference to the kitchen. I’m very glad I noticed it in time and didn’t bite into it - I’d have had a horrible night. I also didn’t like that the edikang ikong. It only had pumpkin leaves and I couldn’t taste any water leaf in it. Since that’s unconventional for edikang ikong, it’s best you communicate how you prepare it differently so people aren’t in for any surprises.
