Rishon Lezion deserves a much better sports hall. First of all its capacity is very limited. Only 2,000 guests can spectate games and events, a very small figure when there are big events in the place. Second, its design is very weird, only two entrances way far from each other, causing a lot of walking for such a small sports hall. Third, only one food stand with very low quality items and obviously high prices. Trying to get food during breaks is a ridiculous task of a very long waiting time. Fourth, the restrooms are not reasonably maintained, sometimes lacking paper, sometimes very dirty and messy. There's even only one water fountain in the entire guests area, and for a long time it did not work properly. Last but not least, during events of at least average attendance, the parking lot becomes chaotic and you simply cannot find good parking in a fair distance from the hall itself. Leaving the area after the event also means waiting in a jam for several minutes for no good reason. It is just a bad planning of the area which causes a congestion. It is merely 2,000 guests, it should be much quicker to leave the place.

Very intimate stadium. Transitioned from a professional basketball arena back to a community gym in a very short time after the game ended. I highly recommend going to see Maccabi Rishon LeTzion's trophy room. Some really impressive stuff there.
