Order on DoorDash all the time and never disappoints. Very sweet and welcoming staff as well! I got the Al pastor tacos and fajita mix! Amazing food and don’t worry I asked for xtra cilantro and onion :)

We are picky about our Mexican food. We live in Northern Michigan with not a lot of options so every time we are in Detroit we try a new place. No more trying, this is it! All homemade and unique dishes you don’t see in other menus!

I ordered delivery and overall the tacos were good. I think hot sauce or a special house sauce could go a long way for these tacos. It was really reasonably priced with three tacos, rice, and beans being $7. I wish the chicken had a bit more sear and flavor, but it was still yummy.

Awesome spot to get authentic Mexican dishes that aren't considered "street food". Chile en nogada was great, cochinita great, will be back soon. Edit: Returned for the flautas and they did not disappoint. Very delicious!

Stopped for lunch..this is the most tasty and flavorful Mexican I’ve had in Michigan. Don’t bother w Mexico village, stop here and eat they also have drinks and lots of tequila. I would add this to guys diners drive in and dives this place is that great! It’s small 8 tables prices are good but damm the meal was great!

I was shocked by what I received as “vegetarian fajitas”—just a pile of really oily vegetables (all cut into huge pieces and mostly carrots), with four torn corn tortillas. No sour cream, cheese, guacamole, or anything. Not good and not very Mexican. My husband’s burrito was dry and flavorless. We’ve gotten food here several times over the last year, and each time was a little more disappointing than the last. That’s it for us.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I had the tostadas de tinga 10/10! They were full of flavor. Service was excellent, I noticed employees constantly cleaning. The decor is so beautiful there are a lot of small details to see. My favorite decor were the little sombreros on the lightbulbs.

Señor Lopez is my go-to haven for delectable late-night bites after work. The speed at which they whip up my flautas or enchiladas is impressive, ensuring I get a satisfying meal without the long wait. What sets them apart is their attention to detail– they consistently get my orders right, a refreshing departure from the occasional mishaps at other Detroit Restaurants.

Service was fast and friendly. I had the lunch enchilada with refried beans and rice and it was delicious. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Service sucks , the waiter doesn’t even give you extra napkin. Then the soup I had it had no flavor it was plain soup de res was not the way it is . Needs improvement. I sure gulped the soup because I was starving and thinking it was going to be so good and always remember this a a opinion of each and every individual. So I had to finish it!

Great food! Affordable prices. My wife and I had a great meal and spent some quality alone time. This was our first trip to sit down at this restaurant even though we’ve had them on Door Dash before. We had steak quesadillas and they were well seasoned and prepared. We shall return.

The food is very good. I only gave 4 stars as the to go orders only get small 1 1/4 oz salsa. Otherwise 5 stars. I am so glad I found this place on door dash

Great service and nice quiet atmosphere. The chips and salsa were delightful! The portions were small and there were extra charges without us knowing about them beforehand. The menu must not be updated because our totals were several dollars more than the menu had said. Overall, a good hole-in-the-wall eatery but the inaccurate pricing was a letdown.

Always a fun traditional "diner" with an amazing bilingual serving staff so EVERYONE feels welcome. I got the fish and chips dinner this time, but their breakfast is good too!

The tamales were delicious but I am extremely confused by the Nachos. First off I ordered them requesting the chips on the side and they failed to do that so of course the chips arrived soggy. They were also stale and extremely difficult to chew. And the toppings were simply canned nacho cheese sauce and jalapeños... nothing else. You may want to include the description of toppings in your menu for online orders so people can avoid ordering this item in the future expecting more. The rice also tasted like freezer burn which was odd. I couldn't get past one bite of it.

Not sure how people are satisfied with the customer service here? Your server, Yasmin, is beyond rude! I ordered a milanesa without cheese due to a food allergy. When I told told her my order was incorrect, she copped an attitude and told me, "No, it's not! You ordered it that way. I should know, I wrote it down!". Then continued to stand there rolling her eyes and asked, "What would you like me to do, take it back to the kitchen?" While I waited for my correct order, I watched her disrespect several other customers. The worst customer service ever. Her smart remarks and negative body language was enough for me NEVER to return to this establishment ever again!

I order from here on Uber Eats all the time because they are one of the earliest restaurants open every day. Their prices are amazing. Their salsa is delicious and has a kick. I make huge giant orders all the time, and it has never once been wrong. I even called the restaurant today just to give my praises to the staff. This place is amazing. I order quesadillas, tacos of every meat, enchiladas, breakfast burrito—all delicious. Love this place.
